Texans signed Addison and Hughes hence the question was if they would sign Star now
-
Agree. Would have been nice for him to retire a Bill but given his declined abilities it was right decision for the Bills. And I cant fault him for wanting to work some more and collect another paycheck. Good luck to him!

Tom Brady will be Fox’s lead NFL analyst once he retires
Fan in Chicago replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
He has won a lot more Superbowls than Peyton Manning but he doesn't have half his personality, appeal or charm. And no TB12 diet is ever going to inject him with any Your take is .. umm... well ... strange -
Giants prepared to release CB Bradberry (now released)
Fan in Chicago replied to billsbackto81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Did he actually say that? I am sure most of us here would rather win the Superbowl at least one than be the bridesmaid every season. From now on, every season should be the one until we win the first SB -
Yes but it's taking a while. We are clearly a national draw now.

This will be the time to show what our upgraded DL can do against Henry. A good early to test.

***** Bills Mafia rise up***** Best wings outside of Buffalo

I disagree. There aren't many good establishments in Chicago-land area but the one I listed above is very good. Wings are not stringy at all. -

The 2nd Wave of Free Agency Starts Today at 4PM

Imo, Sanders is done. Speed was his big trait but he has lost not one but two steps. Those top 5 are fine and Stevenson, kumerow and Hodgins are good for the remaining spots. With 2 TEs and receiving backx of Cook and Singletary, we are not in desperate need of WRs -

The other way to think about AJE is that in his second year, he could not beat out Addison. It is too early to pronounce judgment on Rousseau and Basham but Epenesa did not even trend in the right direction by the end of his second season. Let see if he turns out to be a late bloomer like Knox. But he is going to have only a few opportunities to show himself off in a rather crowded DE room. If he doesnt make the best if his chances, he wont dress on game days. -
This is my single biggest concern as we have not made many significant upgrades to the OL. Adding Saffold, walking everyone back and changing coaches still is not sufficient given how much Allen had to cover up the deficiencies last season. Beane said after the season that we need to provide more protection for Allen but I hope he wasn't talking about the RB and Receivers as "protection". I was hopeful that one of the first 3 picks would go to the OL but that didn't happen. There aren't many FA left so I am still hoping there is a trade coming or we will be lucky with some June cuts

Rd 3, Pick 89 (25): LB Terrell Bernard, Baylor

You are showing your age 😄 -
Tannehill has proven to be a competent , if not spectacular , QB. He should feel self assured that there will always be teams looking for his (moderate) skills every year. He should be a good team mate or pretend to be one, as part of an audition for the next job.
-
Going by memory, he was a bust. Very disappointing player.
-
It was a term coined on this board during the Edwards years. Yea, it was an apt play on his first name
-
This is similar to the Bills selecting Trent(ative) Edwards when Losman was the starter. Tannehill is better than JPL was but in both cases, the teams took a mid-round pick to challenge the starter.
-
Okay. I dont recall that at all.
-
I remember those painful days very well and whenever his name comes up - the above is exactly what I think about. Of all the other busts in recent Bills history, do you remember why the word "friggin" was so intricately linked to his name? Same question

Do the Bills have the best offense in the league?
Fan in Chicago replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Arguably, the WR room last year was not widely different - Beas was hurt and Sanders was on his last legs. So we may be slightly better in that regard. But strength of schedule is something I hadnt considered. We did benefit from having very few major injuries last year and shouldnt expect the same every season. I see how we were both saying most of the same things and I was coming to a more rosy/hopeful conclusion 🙂 -
I would like to see a trade up into the 4th round and pick up OL , WR and P with the resultant picks. That's it.
