  1. Hope its not because Rodgers continues to be the drama queen.
  2. If you think he has to hop over a hurdle, it can't be that big
  3. Welcome back, sir. You haven't been posting enough.
  4. I got the sarcasm but you should realize The Dean's history here.
  5. I came away with the same feeling after reading his responses. It seemed like some questions were baiting him to talk badly about his time in Chicago but he took the high road. Very good interview and comes across as a very mature person. He may not ever be a great starter but he has shown enough on the field to have a long career in the NFL. Todd Collins, Alex Smith come to mind. Glad we got him even if as a 1 year rental
  6. Top 10 as the top-100 includes Defensive players too.
  7. I am (genuinely) curious. What growth did you see last year? I posted actual numbers earlier which show that his catch%, total yards, total TDs did not change meaningfully from his rookie to last season. He has not been the safe outlet which young QBs like Allen need. TE has been a problem position for the Bills for almost 2 decades now. We dont know what a decent TE can do to an offense, let alone a good one. To your high ceiling point, his lack of growth has me questioning that point and his effectiveness has not come across yet. If he magically (or through focused effort) pulls a 3rd-year-Allen on us, I will gladly come back to this post and eat crow.
  8. His two years have resulted in 50 targets- 28 catches - 388 yards - 2 TDs followed by 44-24-288-3 Neither the stats nor the eye test say that he has improved or has potential. His catch percent is about the same and that production can be obtained by any random dude not named Kelvin Benjamin, Zay Jones or TJ Graham
  9. Yea but I thought those are the teachers and Knox would be the one applying for admission
  10. Admission threshold is really low
  11. I wonder what his final achievements need to be to displace the current front-runner for GOAT. One more SB win than him? 5 Superbowls + better stats? I dont know the answer and only history will tell eventually. A tennis analogy comes to mind - how many Grand Slams does Djokovic need to win to be considered the GOAT over Federer/Nadal? Equaling their record wont do it for ND.
  12. Though not technically in Buffalo, north of the border isnt too far away... (see my post above)
  13. No recommendation for Sundowner? Come on, guys! @USCGBILLSFAN if you can visit Canada, allow me to recommend this fine establishment. Of course depends on what your SO feels but it can be a cozy couple outing (from my experience, I can say it is a great "appetizer" if you have your own "main course" 😁)
  14. Ink? White background? Good you didn't say papyrus. You old fogey! Imo, the contract will be longer duration. My guess is 7 years/$300 million. I don't have any guesses on the guaranteed amount
  15. By "out of the league", I meant retired and beyond consideration by any team. What's next- Rex Ryan being considered for an NFL HC job?
  16. With his lax attitude, I can't believe he is still in the league
  17. Hope Kirby Jackson comes out of his self imposed (?) exile for this one
  18. Let me leak a schedule to you: Feb 13, 2022 Bills vs Bucs
  19. I have no idea. Maybe they are expecting Fields to be great and hence needing more capacity 😀
  20. Depends on where the majority of ticket holders live. For suburbanites, this can be an easier drive. But downtown does offer the benefit of using public transportation such as the Metra and the L. For those unaware of the Chicago-land area, Metra service radiates out from downtown so you can use it easily from the 'burbs. OTOH, if you want to reach Arlington Heights, you need to be close to at least one, best case 2 lines to make it even partly viable. Likely that it is early posturing by the Bears: ------------------------- “I've seen a couple of reports. But a couple of data points that I think you should be aware of are the Bears have a lease with Soldier Field until 2033 and the NFL doesn't let any teams break their leases,” Lightfoot said.
  21. I have quite a few to choose from but thinking that Rob Johnson would become a great QB was the worst of them. BTW, has BADOL posted in this thread yet? 😁
  22. I also dont usually like Bradshaw but I agree with everything in this article and with bradshaw
  23. I just find it tough to believe that an organization as traditionally well run as the Packers could intentionally go out of its way to continually pi** off one of the best QBs in the league. As an example, picking Love last year was in line with their long term philosophy yet Rodgers took that as an affront as opposed to either taking him under his wing or continuing to do his job well. If Rodgers kept playing at 39, the Pack could have pulled a Patriots** move and traded him/Love. Yet, Rodgers proceeded to play the victim and pouted like a jilted kid at a prom.
  24. And that is the crux of my disagreement with this decision. One that did not need to be made. Extending him could have been done after the next season if he lived up to his potential in year 4. Worst case, in season.
