  1. Again, until Cutler either kisses and makes up in Denver, or is traded, nobody who is not in the Bills FO has any idea what their intentions are. We would all be very surprised to have insider knowledge of all the proposed trades throughout the years in the NFL. Not every potential trade makes it to the press or internet rumormongers. While I would love to see Cutler a Bill, the most probable trade is for Scheffler.
  2. Why would they? Nobody on these boards broke the news.
  3. Probably not, unless we had the first overall pick.
  4. That was the best play EVER!
  5. Unless the Bronco's gave permission to Cook to do the legwork of a trade, just to guage interest.
  6. Dude, by the time you've read this, three more have just popped up!
  7. If anything, it is probably Scheffler. Thing is, we'll probably never know. I'm sure we would all be surprised at the deals that are discussed, and almost made, by NFL GM's that never materialize.
  8. Isn't he the coach of the dolphins??
  9. Brad went on about how Reuben would be in the know as he has contacts. Sounded like Reuben said the word is it is about Cutler, but he needs to check more facts.
  10. Probably. Got kinda excited. Hopefully, it's a Scheffler/Cutler trade. Probably not, but it would be cool. Don't get me wrong, I like Trent a lot, but love Cutler's fiery side. And, Cutler can throw in bad weather!
  11. Link to Bus Cooks NFL clients: http://www.buscook.com/component/option,com_expose/Itemid,5/ Don't see any Bills, or possibly anyone who we may trade for.
  12. Dumb question, anyone know if he is an agent for anyone else on the Bills?
  13. OK. Who here ACTUALLY heard him say it? My God that would be awsome if it is true!
  14. Good points.
  15. Somebody will pay. They usually do.
  16. But, have we done enough?
  17. My point exactly. Hopefully good WR's will take some pressure off the OL, as I suspect we may have another substandard line.
  18. Correct, it is impossible to fill every single hole in a year. The draft has been proven to maybe provide a single impact player for the upcoming season. Not saying that some of the draft picks may contribute quite well down the road, just that we need impact this season. I outlined a few of the holes we have, as we have many. My hope is we can fill as many of those with FA's who hopefully are upgrades over last year. Yes, I know, I'm asking for a lot.
  19. Getting kind of wary about lack of movement at OBD. If we go into this season without Peters, no upgrade at the guard position, no tight end and especially no real pass rush, you can kiss off any kind of impact Owens would have had. My guess is we need a pass rusher, TE and guard, at the very least. If we scr#w up this Peters thing, AGAIN, then obviously that would need some attention also. Just hoping the Bills start making some moves and get a few known players at important positions via FA, and not just the draft.
  20. He proved last year that he'll holdout till the last minute and come in and play worse than a street free agent.
  21. A shoddy O-line can be masked with strong running (I know that's tough with a suspect line), good play action, which all starts with having a good couple of receivers who can stretch and challenge the d-backs. Funny thing is, the o-line looked it's best early season without Peters. I say trade his rather large butt, hopefully for some established players as I don't necessarily trust our drafting ability...especially as it pertains to the O and D lines. Remember, we kinda stumbled on Peters as a tackle.
  22. Kiper is a shell of his former self....and that ISN'T saying much!
  23. Trade him. He'll turn into another Bruce Smith, asking to restructure his contract every season. Thing is, Bruce deserved the money he got. I know 3 mill is a lot of money, but man, we picked him up when nobody wanted him and turned his career around. That should account for something?
