  1. Both logos remind me of the stock logos in Madden create-a-team back in the day.
  2. Almost sounded like over the stadium speakers. Wouldn’t be a good idea. Do like hearing it though.
  3. Is the coach calling the play being played over the stadium speakers?
  4. Gonna take some getting used to hearing the QB mic’d all the time.
  5. Wife asked “what the he’ll is this?”... Wasn’t happy with the answer.
  6. What Ross did here was calculated. Set the bar to either scare other teams, or see what others are willing to give up. The thing is, if you want the guy, go get him. Coulda tanked for him, but have to deal with the situation they are in. The phins need to jettison some of those first round picks. Imagine the cap dollars If all 5 of those players hit, assuming one of them is a QB.
  7. 34 years old. Had a decent season last year - 52 receptions for 597 yards. If it was vet minimum with easy incentives, fine. Want to be able to cut him early on if he doesn’t work out. Would prefer to start Knox and give Sweeney a shot.
  8. Back surgeries and level of success or failure are very personal to the persons level of damage and quite frankly, pain tolerance. It’s very difficult to gauge your prognosis based on someone else’s surgery and recovery. That being said, do your due diligence and find the best surgeon you can. As you said above, looking out of town may be your best bet. You need to research patient reviews, but more importantly patient outcome and infection rates. Having 4 herniated discs in my lower back, I understand how horribly restrictive and painful back/neck pain can be. Hopefully you will get a reduction in daily pain, but also arrest the deterioration.
  9. Pre-gaming pretty hard, aren’t we! And yes, believe we are due next year. One or two pieces and this team can be great. Defense has to stay intact as much as possible.
  10. Interesting how it seems to stress ‘today”.
  11. Franco’s pizza and wings. Thin Man Brewery beers - Trial By Wombat NEIPA, Minkey Boodle raspberry sour and Petit Amour wild table beer.
  12. Spoiler alert if you haven’t seen BB or El Camino. Robert Forster played the vacuum repair guy who could “disappear” people. I need a new dust filter for my Hoover MaxExtract PressurePro model 60 - can you help me with that? He's the guy who stowed Saul and WW in his basement In BB last episode or two and took Walter to the cabin at the end - brought him food and his cancer med. He also helped Jesse in El Camino.
  13. it is sad. Loved his character, good actor.
  14. Murph is useless. Hate listening to him on the broadcast. Hate listening to him on the show. Tasker is truly unlistenable. Hate myself when I tune in and he is on. Doesn’t listen to what’s being said, just spews garbage that may or may not be on topic. Maddy isn’t horrible, just doesn’t have depth of knowledge. Has surface knowledge.
  15. Problem is, Jonathan Banks is 73. You can see he has aged a lot last few seasons of BCS. Looks like he has trouble walking. Also, Robert Forster passed away the day after El Camino premiered. He is in BCS this season, using footage from BCS.
  16. I’d like to see a Gus spinoff, dude plays the part very well. Or a Jesse spin-off where he gets back into it. Somehow finds Saul and they build another empire. Love BB, but feel it’s been played out. Better Call Saul is different as it chronicles his rise. Using the whiney kid? Only way I see that is the money Walt left with Gretchen and Elliott to give to his family goes belly up. Still a stretch.
  17. Can’t wait. Just binged the first 3 seasons in prep. Season 4 comes out on Netflix February 9th. Also, they’ve announced a Season 6. Waiting to see what happens to Kim. Never mentioned in BB. Also looking forward to more Fringe. Should be an awesome season.
  18. The top operating income is the Cowboys. That’s based on their stadium, but also huge amounts endorsement deals that the dollars flow directly to them, not shared with the league - Nike, Pepsi, etc. ( signed a deal with Nike when Reebok was the official sponsor). They also have their training facility called “the Star” that generates revenue for them. The net dollars that get shared with the visiting team is not the push here. Luxury suites and box seat revenue is kept by the home team. I believe it’s a 50-50 split for regular seats. If they raised ticket prices by $100 per ticket, that would roughly translate to an additional 3 million to 3.5 million raise in revenue for the visiting team. That’s a pittance compared to what they pull in from TV revenue and revenue sharing. This market will not support large PSL licenses, or a glut of luxury boxes. Seems like the push here will be “lodge” seats per the Bills survey a year or so ago. Love the stadium we have. Great sight lines, decent location for ingress and egress, and obviously the tailgating experience. Downtown stadium would have terrible traffic issues, and would most likely lose the tailgating. Best option would be a stadium upgrade - additional boxes, increase ticket prices a bit, and some sort of cover (like the dolphins stadium?). Personally, I wouldn’t pay a penny in PSL, but would pay an additional $50 in per game cost to my season ticket prices.
  19. Yes. Just based on beating the patsies twice, once when they were undefeated. Played 16 years. Has a 84% career rating and only threw for less than 3200 yards twice - rookie season and last season. 366 TD’s and a bit heavy at 244 INT’s. First ballot all the way. Name recognition doesn’t hurt.
  20. This POS is gonna hurt someone. He needs to be committed.
  21. I agree Kittle is a huge part of the Niners offense. TE is an important position, just look at both Kittle and Kelce who are game changers and need to be accounted for on the field at all times. Couple that with speedy wr's - Deebo Sanders and Hill, and you'll have mismatches somewhere. Knox has shown he can be a productive TE, but is he the mauler that can throw huge blocks one play and be speeding down the middle of the field the next play? We shall see. To what the OP said. Need a Right Tackle (kick Ford to guard), a true #2 RB, another quality WR and our offense should get better. Not too difficult via FA and a WR deep draft. Defense needs edge rush help, another outside LB and a true #2 CB along with improving CB and Safety depth. Overall, we need to follow our own blueprint and not copy the "flavor of the day". Many different blueprints have won the Super Bowl - the "Greastest Show On Turf" Rams, to the balanced Giants, to the defense heavy Bucs. And of course the patsies who win with balance and an ever changing lineup.
  22. Looked down at the 4, FWIW. Kicked Adams as he hit the ground.
