  1. people do realize Nix doesn't do the $$$ amounts in contracts. Isn't that Overdorf and to put this in a better perspective. The Bills have the 8th best salary cap situation in the NFL as of today. lots of teams in worse shape then we are financially
  2. Philly has plenty of needs CB, WR, S, OL, DE they might fill in the other holes this year and look next year for a rookie QB> not sold on Philly going QB early in the draft
  3. I disagree. He saves nothing against the cap if cut. He has a head for the game and he will be a great mentor to any drafted QB. I don;t foresee the Bills being big players in a trade for Alex Smith either so that pretty much makes Fitz the QB vet we keep by default Plus he'll restructure, the only way he wouldn't restructure is if he believed he can make big money somewhere else, other wise Fitz knows his best payday is to stay put and restructure
  4. You don't really believe what you posted. OR can you hook me up with your bank and those mighty kind interest rates.
  5. Geno Smith would not be a mistake, that's laughable, and I expect one or 2 teams in front of the Bills to make moves on QB's like Alex Smith and possibly Foles. SO the scenario of a QB dropping to #8 is still a possibilty. teams liek Arizona are equaly desperate for OL. Can't put a rookie behind an OL that can't block that's a disaster waiting to happen
  6. If Geno Smith is there, it's a no brainer.
  7. I hate the idea. They are tinkering to much with this game and it will cause it's demise.
  8. I laugh. Kelsay has survived how many coaching changes. he is no superstar but he does the intangibles well enough. If coach after coach retians him then time for some fans to admit they are worng about Kelsay
  9. there will be no big name FA WR pursuits IMO. The draft is where we will address the WR position
  10. Blaine Gabbert, Jake Locker, Joey Harrington, Patrick Ramsey, Kyle Boller, Rex Grossman, JP Losman, Jason Campbell, Vince Young, Matt Leinhart, Jamarcus Russel, Brady Quinn, Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, these are all 1st rd QB's that scouts and teams thought high enough on to draft int he 1st round the last decade. In fact all the best draft gurus out there had most of those names listed as 1st rd picks Even some of the 1st rd QB picks considered franchise in the league today are struggling. Cam Newton, Matt Stafford etc... Does anyone really want to debate that none in this group of Barkley, Smith, Nassib, Glennon, Wilson, Manuel will be drafted 1st rd. Should we compare the college careers of Players like Barkley and Smith to all on that list, you will see that those guys had much better college careers then most of them, and did it consistently for multiple years. Example #1 Blaine Gabbert threw for 41 career college TD's. Geno Smith threw 42 last year, and 98 career. Smith threw for 11K yadrs Gabbert 6K career. Every single draft guru picked Gabbert in the 1st rd. Example #2 Jake Locker. Never had a 60% completion year. Never threw a 3000 yd season. Example #3; Jamarcus Russel. 1st overall pick and didn't have close to the consistent production of Barkley and Smith Every single QB listed above drafted 1st rd did much less in college then some of the top prospects in the draft htis year, so when these socuts say there is no franchise QB in this draft I call shenanigans. So many lesser QB's were give the title of franchise QB in years before, and I fail to see how this class is worse then those.
  11. Vick was a convicted felon. No convicted felon should ever be allowed back into a pro sports league. I despise him because he purposely bred dogs and trained them to be killers for monetary and entertainment purposes, even though he was already wealthy. it has nothing to do with the value of human life, but typically that is how your closed mind perceives the opposition. I'm also outraged with pedophiles, murderes, and those who threaten others, pr are violent towards others. the other super hero you speak about was never convicted and is only pray to your hearsay on the subject. If you have issues with that go after the court system and law enforcement systems that you feel let this one slide. I'm in the camp of if Vick is a Bill I stop watching all together.
  12. I hope he is healthy and can fully compete. his injury is unfortunate. Fail to see why an article is a problem.
  13. combine is something I would just flip to for a few minutes. I can't watch that for too long. it's a snore fest.
  14. this is a good thing. Fitz has a solid mind for the game. he can be a great mentor for a young arm IMO
  15. football is a sport played in all weather conditions and it is wrong for the Superbowl to be shoe horned into only a 1/2 dozen or so posh stadiums yes it will probably take some away from some of those whom are looking for a warm weather vacation, but screw them.. The game itself is getting to posh and it needs to be returned a little back towards the grunt game it was and weather is a big factor. As for halftime shows> I HATE them. I could care less about them> haven't watched one. i always have something better to do while halftime is happening. The only time I watched halftime was when the Simpsons had their halftime episode that one time. I find it sad that people want their football to be further decaffeinated and the Superbowl to only be played in cushy warm weather venues. Time to put some of the grunt back into football
  16. I feel the exact opposite. Levitre wil be signed. not even worried a little bit. Same goes for Byrd
  17. Didn't even bother watching half time. I knew it would be painful It always is IMO
  18. Kool-Aid reference are now boring and abused
  19. time to stop considering marijuana a substance worthy of wasting resources on. A man smokes a joint and 2 weeks to a month later fails a piss test A man shoots heroin and follows it up with a 24 hours cocaine bender and 3-5 days letter passes a piss test, or a man uses meth all weekend long then by Wednesday or Thursdays passes a piss test. Urine based drug tests fail to remove the problematic substances, and our law enforcing and judicial resources are wasted going after MJ offenders instead of hardcore narcotic offenders
  20. that would be a nice score I would think the Bills would need to at least leap frog Arizona though.
  21. which is why I put a higher premium on a quality OL over a S, even though we need to do everything to keep them both.. Levitre would be a harder loss to swallow. how many years did we endure with a subpar OL before Nix put together our current OL
  22. I take banned substances everyday...
  23. NEVER HAPPEN, and it owuld actually turn off plenty of Bills fans IMO Same goes for Vick
  24. pick him up and use him as trade bait at seasons end could be useful for move upwards in the draft for a QB
