  1. Read the former DT tried for the Bills. Curious to see if he still has the skills to beat the likes of McCargo for a spot.
  2. Alan Page weighed only 245.
  3. We may have the biggest line in the league. All they should have to do is fall forward for our rb's to gain positive yardage.
  4. I looked up Bruce's size-he was 6'4" and weighed 280lbs. Is that right? After seeing pictures of Maybin at close to 250lbs, he looked about as big as he is going to get and still maintain his speed like Dwight Freeney. Does anyone think Maybin can hit 280lbs?
  5. What kind of offense will we be good at? I mean, are a power running team or a throwing team? Our line will be huge and nasty, but there usually is a period of time to get acclimated. I believe that if can't run the ball effectively, it will be a long season.
  6. Seeing how they drafted Monroe and Britton, perhaps Thomas or Pashos will be available.
  7. Herman Johnson-LSU
  8. Wouldn't it have been better to just draft a lineman and get our cb later?
  9. Don't quite get it. We have so many other needs.
  10. Acquire Anquan Boldin for Josh Reed and draft picks.
  11. Just read in the Washington Post that Big Mike signed to play with Redskins.
  12. Dude will have to earn his money in rabid Philly. The entire league will soon find out if Peters is as good as he thinks he is. Their schedule in the division is tough enough, plus they play the Panthers, Chargers, Bears, and Falcons. Hell, this town booed Santa Claus.
  13. I was curious to see if anyone knew if some of these guys are going ot be able to contribute: 1. McCargo-could this guy possibly come to camp in shape and be finally ready to contribute 2.Wendling-will he use that you tube athletic ability to play safety 3.Bowen-the guy was heaped lots of praise and tore up his knee 4.Fine-is he any good as a starting te 5.Bell-we got rid of Peters, is he that good to compete for a starting job 6.Oman and any other rbs7.Hardy-will he be able to play or is Johnson better I don't live in the area
  14. y'all need to lighten up on the venom being spewed about. I only said it was a thought. With a salary cap and all, one has to watch every dollar. Not to be a buzz kill, but Yahoo rated Buffalo as the 5th toughest place to live in the USA. Hope things make a turn for the better.
  15. yes Lynch will be in shape, but not football shape. History shows that guys who hold out, show up in shape, but need a few games to under their belts before they can shoulder the load, or get hurt.
  16. I don't think we would get a 1st round pick for him because of his baggage, but crazier things have happened.
  17. I really think that Lynch will be traded. If he had not gotten into trouble we may have had a chance at going 3-0. Rhodes and Jackson will be highly motivated for produce this season. The days of using only a single rb are done. Would not be surprised if we stop drafting rb's in the first for good.
  18. I am thinking with a Tequila hangover-that the signing of Rhodes could be the end of Lynch. If Rhodes and Jackson perform well, we could trade Lynch. Be gentle.
  19. Does anyone believe we make a deal with the additional first round pick to move up in the draft to say #2 to draft Monroe or Jason Smith?
  20. Have gone through several guitars. Have settled on a Gibson Les Paul. Good site for tabs is Michael's Cosmic Kitchen.
  21. What about Edgerinn James?
  22. Anybody here play guitar? Been teaching myself for about 5 years.
  23. I don't know, I see us taking a defensive end like Ayers out of Tennessee.
  24. We had hurricane Fay this past year and it wasn't the wind that nailed people -it was the immense amounts of rain. I moved to Maine -Uncle Sam sent me there, and the snow and wind were something to behold. Lived about 30 minutes from Mt. Washington in New Hampshire. I hear Pittsford has changed alot. I used to work at Burdett's and go Hicks and McCarthy's. Is Bill Wahl's still there and everyone's favorite dive-Thirsty's? Not a huge fan of Florida, but permanent injuries from the military make cold weather living brutal. It is surprising how many people I have met here from upstate NY and Maine since I have been here.
