Plus Bush didn't sign the Kyoto treaty which clealry would have prevented the hurricane. And Bush also has offended Allah who has been known to unleash his fury in the form of hurricanes.

I don't know about you, but I would simply stay in my house despite everyone telling me to evacuate. Then I would use it as an opportunity to loot as much as I could, especially a gun because then I could shoot at the people trying to rescue me. Then I would find the first news camera and complain that the governmnet isn't doing enough to help me out. Maybe that's just me but that is what I would do.

And the scumbag media will continue to give them uninterrupted airtime while questioning the federal response. Just once, I'd love for one of these concerned-for-humanity-ambulance-chaser 'journalists' to ask the mayor tough questions or ask the people in the streets of New Orleans why they were still in their homes and didn't heed the evacuation warnings and if they were too poor why they didn't get to the Superdome. But these are good people shooting at the cops and rescuers and looting TV's. Good people. Government = bad people.

I've had it with this "Blame" crap
BuffaloRebound replied to stuckincincy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Accountability? You blame the governement for people not having the sense to evacuate 48 hours in advance. You don't need money to have some common sense. At this point, I simply don't know how anyone can claim the response has been inadequate given the enormity of the situation. -
Mularkey's decision to play starters longer
BuffaloRebound replied to smuvtalker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Everyone but McGahee on offense needs the work. Injuries happen and the regular season is not a time to be working out the kinks. Although playing against Detroit's 2nd team defense probably isn't worth the injury risk. However, if Detroit is playing their starters on D, the offense minus McGahee needs all the work it can get. -
This country never ceases to amaze me. The fact that we can actually do something with these evacuated people and even talk about getting the kids back to school makes me proud to be a part of this great country. And yet people will still B word about something.

Why aren't we air dropping supplies in NO?
BuffaloRebound replied to Mike in Syracuse's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I simply don't see the need to B word about the rescue efforts. Do you really believe that everything that can be done isn't being done? It is a horrible situation and I don't understand why blame has to be placed on the government agencies. -

Gotta love f'in 'know-it-alls'. They watch a report from Foxnews or CNN and have the answers to everything. -
Looking WAY ahead.....
BuffaloRebound replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kelsay is also going to have to be locked up long term. I could see him commanding more than Schobel. Unfortunately, the Bills won't be able to pay all these guys what they are worth and will lose some good players. McGahee, Clements, Kelsay, McGee, and possibly Edwards will command large contracts over the next year or so. Guys like Bannan and Denney are no brainers to extend because they are valuable backups and will probably come cheap. Tough decisions will also need to be made on veterans like Moulds, Fletcher, Milloy, Vincent, Adams, and Teague. The Bills could go in almost any direction when it comes to the 2006 draft. -
Willis doesn't need anymore work. All the others should play as long as it takes. The passing game needs to get in sync. The starting defense should get no more than 1 series - they seem ready.

Are we in a pinch at TE?
BuffaloRebound replied to Fake-Fat Sunny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually, the correction changed the meaning of what you were trying to say. You got it right the first time. Unless you think Gilbride used the TE's in his offense. -
Kyle Orton named Bears starter
BuffaloRebound replied to Thailog80's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Orton was 0-2 with a 3 and out against the Bills 1st team defense. He tore up the Bills 2nd team defense with the Bears 1st team offense. Hard to judge from that. Hutchinson is bad, but it is almost as if the Bears' coaches are looking for a reason to elevate Orton as an excuse for not getting some of the veterans that were on the market last March. -
3rd down conversions??
BuffaloRebound replied to BuffaloRebound's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know that nothing good can come from sloppiness and failure. When 2nd stringers are in, it is hard to be as critical because it is a bunch of guys trying to earn a roster spot. But there is no excuse for the 1st stringers. This is supposed to be a power running offense, and the 1st team probably had as many no gain runs as positive yardage runs. Penalties, fumbles, jail-breaks... I don't understand how that is part of any pre-season strategy. It is only pre-season but there is plenty of reason for concern. -
3rd down conversions??
BuffaloRebound replied to BuffaloRebound's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Looks like Mularkey agrees with me. Are the Bills going to run a trick play every 3rd down? If you can't lineup and knock guys off the line to convert 3rd and 1's and 2's now, it's not going to change in the regular season. I guess some of you pollyanna's think otherwise. It is frustrating that at this point in the pre-season, the offense looks like it is the first day they've ever played together. -
3rd down conversions??
BuffaloRebound replied to BuffaloRebound's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pathetic. Parrish and Everett are sorely needed. I also don't buy the argument that Mularkey and the play-callers are sand-bagging for the pre-season. What good does the current slop on offense do for anybody? You can't just all of a sudden turn on a switch come Sept. 11 and have an efficient offense. I will be pissed if Mularkey does not rip apart the ineptness of this offense publicly. They better start showing some concern. This offense isn't getting any better. -
Anybody know that stats so far this pre-season for the offense converting 3rd downs? It's gotta be pathetic. I know it's just pre-season, but somebody's got start asking Mularkey some questions. This was the problem last year with Bledsoe and it seems like nothing has changed.

Race Relations in Professional Sports
BuffaloRebound replied to boomerjamhead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bringing up race and saying that Kent doesn't know how to interact with blacks implies Kent is racist. Unless Kent mentioned that all blacks don't play hard, I simply don't see how race has anything to do with a player getting in a teammate's face when he's not playing hard. -

BuffaloRebound replied to boomerjamhead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To not man up to not running hard and calling Kent a racist because you didn't like what he said is unacceptable. If I were Kent, I would demand the Dodgers cut Bradley. How can you play with a teammate like that? -
53 man roster w/ 8-man PS.
BuffaloRebound replied to Typical TBD Guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The way Jerry Gray has been raving about the young cornerbacks, I think Kevin Thomas is in trouble. A lot of guys that we have pegged for the practice squad will probably get picked up by other teams. Especially a team like the Packers who have seen these guys play a few times and who have no depth. -
Can that be right?? The Chiefs training camp is in Minnesota?

Clements agent at Tues. practice
BuffaloRebound replied to Dan III's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Where does he say he has to be the highest paid CB? There's a difference between thinking you're the best and expecting Champ Bailey money. I still think top 5 money gets him. Garbage journalism looking for a juicy story. He wanted Clements to say that he wanted more than Champ Bailey but he wouldn't do it. -

BuffaloRebound replied to Dan III's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Also, that 2001 draft class looks better and better. Clements, Schobel, Henry, Jennings, and Edwards next year all will get or have nice 2nd contracts, which is probably the best measure of a draft. -
Clements agent at Tues. practice
BuffaloRebound replied to Dan III's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Donahoe likes Clements. Clements like Buffalo. Donahoe will offer Clements top 5 money. Clements could get more next year from someone else. But is it worth risking getting hurt this year and having to fit into a new team and new system for an $18m signing bonus instead of a $15m one? -
Clements agent at Tues. practice
BuffaloRebound replied to Dan III's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In terms of cash outlay not salary cap accounting numbers, Ralph has not really had to pay anyone so far this season outside of regular salaries and 'other bonuses' which if Culmping Platelets info is right amounts to about $60m this year. With no 1st rounder this year and the last guy to get big money being Spikes more than 2 years ago, it would appear the Bills have plenty of money to give Clements. The only other guy you have to worry about in the next 2 years is Mcgahee and maybe Kelsay and McGee but they won't be double digit bonus guys. Losman, Evans, Mike Williams, Spikes, and Schobel are locked up long term. Add McGahee, Clements, Kelsay and McGee and that's a nice nucleus to build off of. -
Willis injury perhaps a bit more serious?
BuffaloRebound replied to The Riddler's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd say the guys the Bills can least afford to lose are in order: McGahee (which I would guess is why he is sitting out practice), Clements, Spikes, Sam Adams, and Evans or Moulds. I would have said Milloy but with Vincent back there now, I think he could cover up for a new SS.
