  1. My goodness. Discussing Biden’s mask mandate as it relates to the Biden family picnic at the Capitol bothers you? It’s his mandate, not mine Nine. Your commitment to common sense and dialogue seems to end when the subject involves your guy. It’s almost like you really don’t believe the things you’ve said previously. Put another way, while you may be no more full of sh8t than the average American, you’re certainly no less full of sh8t. Just own it. Your guy won, I’m not sure why you’re so sensitive. I’m also concerned that you don’t really understand what it means to make a “false equivalence”. You mentioned the Trump rally, not me. I compared Biden action to Biden narrative. But, carry on tiny dancer.
  2. That was dark humor on a thread about Common Ground. I'm a participant. I'm trying, but Transpy started it. 😇
  3. I talked with @oldmanfan about this sort of things a couple months ago. My contention is and has been that for all the (often conflicting) science on COVID, the one consistent thing we see is abject inconsistency from the people we are supposed to trust to guide us forward during this miserable lock down. This was a chance for Biden Inc to show the way and to practice what he's been preaching. His handlers should have been shouting from a megaphone that this was a chance to lead, to show the way, and to inform all Americans that no stage was too big to ignore sensible COVID restrictions. After all--millions of people think some of the scientists are full of it, and millions more know with more or less certainty that politicians are most definitely full of it. Add to this...the 2000 attendees. Add to this lock down govs joining the celebration while scolding those who dare to want to visit Grandma for Thanksgiving. Instead, we discover that the virus is nothing to be concerned with if you're having a bad-assed shindig and your Pops is prez. The appearance of impropriety is stunning, and the press secretary arrogance makes it that much worse. This was day one.
  4. Accidents happen, it's just the way life goes. Biden is in many ways a weak man, you can see it as he confronts people who ask questions he doesn't like, his well-established propensity to threaten to take people behind the school library, compare IQs or engage in a push up contest. All of those things really point to insecurity wrapped in a quasi-fraternity boy mindset. Snopes if fun for kicks, but citing it as an irrefutable source not so much.
  5. Your first statement is emotional gibberish. Suggesting that it's a commonly accepted premise that lying is an American political tradition (something I think you're conceding here) says nothing at all about 'suffering and death' being 'ok'. But, if you've never heard that is a thang, by all means, check around. Get outside your comfort zone. Read a book. Let's mark this down: It took less than 48 hours from the Biden inauguration for you to deflect attention away from the subject of the post, president Biden and the lies he tells, to DJT, President-emeritus. To boot, you actually accused me of deflection ünd false equivalencies when speaking directly about the topic at hand. I'm not keeping score, but that's the second time a disciple of Joe has accused me of deflection when speaking, ironically, about Joe. The bible warns against worshipping false idols, and to be fair to the geez at 1600, the "Joe-No-Lie" standard is impossible to meet. While that is some bold posting, I really would have expected more from you.
  6. I know it's been said here--it reminded me of a Rex type speech. I was sort of hoping that Rex in his reincarnation here would hit his stride--correct the things he did wrong in prior opportunities, be humbled somewhat (somewhat--it was Rex after all), grow as a coach and in that regard, it was a fun presser. You would have thought he'd have a chip onhis shoulder, a burning desire to prove them all wrong, and you certainly could see how players would take to his approach. He's funny in his own way. "Now let's go have a g-d snack" is about as funny as it gets. This guy though, it seems like a pretty black and white scenario. He's going to be who he's going to be, and we've seen him under the best case scenario until he starts winning. If he turns the franchise around, awesome. How much leeway do you give a guy who threatens to chomp on kneecaps? If they go backwards...yeesh.
  7. No sir, that was never my position. Lies, untruths and half-truths have been part of the American political system since 1776 (or 1622 if you read the new fangled textbooks that are ll the rage). Remove Trump and all the panties tied up in bunches over the past four years, I'm betting that you and I would agree on that. It certainly is and was a mainstream point most Americans could agree on back before the barbarian stormed the gates. Joe was bounced from several presidential runs in part for the whoppers he told, and all the eye-closing and "nuh-uh!" in the world won't change that. My position was always that those who support Biden are--as a general rule--no more or less full of sh8t than anyone else in America. They are mortified over lies, unless said lies improve their position in life or benefits them personally; Everyone has a price point, Niner, we just needed to find yours.
  8. As I said in the other post, while I disagree with you and had no desire to allow you to set an agenda, I appreciate you as well. I'll get to the point: I didn't post in this thread to ask a question, I posted to opine on DJTs legacy from my perspective. It was your thread, you started it, you asked. I thought it was a good thread. I'm not interested in winning an argument, and I'm under no illusion that anything I might share will suddenly convince you of the genius of my perspective. The only point to be made here is that different people develop different opinions based on their personal experiences. At this point, it's Biden's turn to rule and he's off to a great start. Masks for everyone, mostly. No large gatherings, sorta. No multiple family household intersectionalism, for the inconsequential folks in the heartland. Let's get to it.
  9. Of course. This was common knowledge throughout Biden's time in the public square. He trades in his sort of thing. In the old days, dems voters realized he was this guy, but in the old days, dem voters were hard working folks trying to get by and they could sniff out his bullsh*t a mile away. He was laughed out of the race in those days, but those days are long gone. Now he's the Sugar Smack Daddy of the modern liberal wing of the dem party. Posted 14 minutes ago Updated per your post: Input magazine is the gold standard to be sure. In order it goes: 1. Input magazine; 2. LieWatch; 3. Dances with Wolves; 4. The DNC monthly “Ucan Trustus”; 5. Watercooler gossip talk; ... 9. Schnopes.com 10.Wikipedia 🤣🤣🤣

  11. This thread will be a real hootenanny as folks defend the honor of Joe B. After all, they’ll say, every candidate lies but Joe is a less liarly liar, in fact, he’s probably the least liarly liar ever. 🤣.
  12. I feel like other than Jack trying flex up and body shame me, this is a great message. God bless you kind stranger!
  13. I don't want to play him with a bad toe, I want to play him when his fingers and toes are 100%. f d *!
  14. I thought he said kneecaps and ballsacks.
  15. Yes. Really for just about everyone. Liberals. Conservatives. In-betweeners. We all saw how the last four (more accurately five I suppose) years played out, we all saw the other folks as the problem, and most folks walk away more emotionally entrenched in our positions than ever before. A couple examples: Dems 2015-2020: Russia stole our election. Donald Trump is treasonous. Putin put a president in the WH. The election was a sham, a coup ensued. Trump supporters are irredeemable and deplorable. The results of Russia investigation by elder statesman Mueller will reveal the truth and Trump will be gone. Trump shaking down Ukraine is different than Biden shaking down Ukraine. Trump is an incompetent boob who can't string a sentence together. Trump is corrupt. Trump doesn't respect woman and has assaulted many. Kavanaugh is a rapist. Trump is a liar. Conservatives are hypocrites. Rs 20220: The dems stole the election. Joe Biden has a sold us out to China. Joe is corrupt. The election was as sham. Biden has a history of fondling and groping women and has been accused of violent sexual assault. Mueller was a hack. Pelosi and the dem leadership courted anarchists and encouraged violent uprisings across the country. Biden shook down Ukraine on camera. Biden was an incompetent boob before dementia set in, now his cranium is basically a bowl of cabbage soup. Biden is a liar. Liberals are hypocrites. Most people found what they were looking for. Heck just the other day--in that other post, you talked about the couple posters on the other board being on the extreme side. I agree with that, and avoid them like the plague. Yet, just the other day, I heard comments made by chief architect of a non-peaceful transition of power J Comey suggest that the GOP beeds to be 'burned down or changed'. There are scoodles of similar comments made by Messrs Pelosi, Schumer, Nadler and the like over the past five years--lots of hateful rhetoric that no doubt inspired violence, rioting and looting, attacks on law enforcement officials and federal facilities...and the tolerant left and faithful WaPo remains silent, guiding true believers in the proper direction. Conjecture. Roberts is considered in some circles to be left-leaning by conservatives. In that regard, he's a disappointment. I'm not sure I'd compare it with liberal disappointment of RBG staying on way too long/not living long enough, but certainly it's a factor when things don't go your way. On the other hand, liberals wailed at the thought of Kavanaugh being appointed and as you pointed out, he and Gorsuch have displayed that they are their own men. You should be pleased with that. See your point that starts with ...as for the judiciary... Of course you do. You're simply the flip side of the extremist trump supporter. I have no idea what your second point means in the context of judicial decision-making, but I'm comfortable that you don't either. Yes, I responded and deleted my reply an hour or two later. It seemed pointless, and you seemed to be getting more amped up (that's a Transpy thing) and I saw no point in proceeding on the terms you felt compelled to attempt to dictate. Your post was a hodgepodge of opinion masked as fact that you believe exposes the hypocrisy of the support for Trump. I don't see it that way, but good for you. The difference with this post is that you seemed to be reaching for some sort of big picture view, it wasn't a post about finding any sort of common ground, and it is an interesting point. Does that offend? Peace out.
  16. “Hendry...Hendry Hill is that you?”
  17. Great question. I think the ultimate gift of the Trump presidency is clarity. Oh, and a reimagined judiciary.
  18. Bandwagon.....yes...and if time and energy permits I would turn the Paige.
  19. I asked a girl out in high school and she initially said yes, but then told me she couldn’t go because she was having intermittent episodes of supraventricular tachycardia and couldn’t go. Are you telling me it’s actually a thing??! Those poor poor bunny rabbits.
  20. Making the next question quite obvious.
  21. Well if we are playing them without their best rb, why 🤬bother. To beat the best you have to beat the best.
  22. None of these people look anything like me. This is clickbait. Btw— is it just me or is there a certain creepiness to many of the poses? I’m old fashioned and am all for it with the dopplechicks but the doppledudes look just..creepy. Stand side by side, pose, cool. But heads tilted against each other like a wedding photo?
  23. Dr. Riccadeli, Dr. Semankowicz, Dr. Sullivan, Dr. Patel, Dr. Spikowski...yes, yes I would. Dr. Igor Gregyrovich...I’m sorry, too damn soon for me.
  24. I remember Mike Tyson pinching Evander Holyfield’s ear nerve. It happens.
