  1. The decision not to vaxx is also playing a part.
  2. The lack of Dawkins news is disconcerting. If Dawkins wasn’t asymptomatic, I wonder if he could get in game shape even if cleared today. Hopefully the team created a better option than Brown at LT. I had hoped Bates could play an even slightly below average LT to keep the rest of the line in tact.
  3. Likely for the same reason it started at 1.5, Vegas is trying to push bettors to choose the Patriots. Seems very doubtful Beasley is worth a whole point.
  4. I think differential matters to a point. It clearly indicates good and bad teams, but it’s harder to analyze without closer examination. For example, each game, an extra late touchdown scored or given up could substantially change a team’s ranking, but not a game’s outcome. IMO, the NFL is as close to parity as it’s ever been (in my lifetime). Bills lose to Jags, Bucs get shutout at home to the Saints, Cardinals lose to Lions, Chiefs looked terrible and now good, Titans are difficult to figure out, Packers almost lose to a backup QB and his hurting defense. Abundant examples every week.
  5. Depends on which throws you mean. Yes, Carolina scored when Milano couldn't keep up with the RB, but a great deal of the yards were on 2nd and 3rd and long, and the Bills purposely give the offense that part of the field. On the interception - I think Josh was overaggressive, but mostly Chin made a very nice place. Would love him on the Bills. What I liked: - With three OL out of position, and a rookie making his first start at LT, it could have been a LOT worse. I thought Daboll made adjustments that favored what those five could do. - I liked seeing misdirection and rolling Allen out of the pocket. - The defense did the job.
  6. Scored 31 points on a tough Carolina defense. Some will point out a few short fields but the offense, despite three OL out of place, still had a decent day. I thought the defense played well. However, our punter is getting worse.
  7. Agree. Olson’s content is mostly fine, but his style needs work. Early teen enthusiasm and vocabulary, mixed with some painful cliches.
  8. This post seems to have a heavy dose of wishful thinking. For me, Jones is dangerous because he's not asked to do too much, and what he's asked to do, he does well. The question is whether the Bills can force Jones to perform tasks he's yet to prove proficiency. IMO, first down could be THE key indicator. The Pats have done a great job of making 2nd and 3rd down plays manageable. If the Bills can limit first down plays to three yards or less, it could put pressure on Jones to make plays on 2nd and 3rd, not just take what the defense give them. I'm curious if the Bills will try to jam the receivers to disrupt timing of the short passing game that force Jones to make tight throws. Would leave Edmunds and Milano to take away the short TE and RB safety valve passes.
  9. Tre is having an outstanding season. Fans want picks and perfection, but his mere presence makes the rest of the team incredibly difficult to play against. Without Tre, the rest of the team has to cover far more ground, which significantly changes its aggressiveness and makes them far more vulnerable.
  10. Almost no one believes the flag and anthem are offensive. That’s a willfully untrue statement and a perfect example what’s wrong with the entire debate. People like you cannot even acknowledge what other people are trying to say let along try to understand the meaning behind their actions.
  11. Dear Bills - Please get vaxxed. Good for you, good for society, good for the team and good for my sanity.
  12. To me, Jones has proven that he can do enough to help the Pats to within half-game of the Bills and possibly first place by the end of the weekend. It's possible Jones is as good as he'll ever be but the Patriots as a whole seem to be playing well enough to threaten the Bills chances of taking the division.
  13. Um, yeah, but I was asking the OP if they Pats beat the Falcons, are they no longer "overrated." I see no sense in tearing down the Pats who are only a half-game behind the Bills and could lead the division at the end of the weekend.
  14. I assume this is entirely due to his physical health and durability. If he can't stay the field it would make sense Beasley could be a cap casualty.
  15. I’m pretty sure you’re just a troll.
  16. But is that really true? Players (coaches) in the league simply scan the stats like fans? What if a bunch of DBs have around the same amount? How do they measure OLine play? I get the feeling that coaches and players are a bit more sophisticated than stat searching. So, they simply select the DBs and LBs with the most interceptions, and that's it? That's an amazing assertion and completely untrue.
  17. So, interceptions are the pro bowl barometer? Oh, boy.
