  1. How do you know the bills don’t simply support the point that the lives of blacks matter? It’s an important discussion piece. African -American players are more likely to want to play in an area in which they are accepted and respected not just for what the accomplish on the field, but for who they are as human beings. The Pegulas made a good move here. It was a solid football and human decision to post that message.
  2. That’s different from the graphic I saw this morning. Must have been updated at some point today.
  3. Right now I believe it is named simply “The Stadium.” Donating the name for a year (Be it to BLM, Roswell Park, Veterans, First Responders, etc) is an interesting idea.
  4. Expressing an opinion is unpatriotic? Last I checked this country cherished freedom of speech. And how the Bills acknowledge that may well impact the product in the field, in the form of team unity, free agent acquisitions, and player performance. Sports and life have met again here.
  5. It’s not garbage. It’s important to note where the Bills stand on what has become this important league issue.
  6. It hasn't hit the news yet, but as of this morning the Bills converted the video boards around the exterior of the stadium from their usual purpose of playing highlights (24/7, even in the dead of night in the dead of winter) to tools to convey the message that "Black Lives Matter" (in white text over a black background). It's good messaging to employees reporting to work for the first time this season, and it's an interesting approach given McDermott's ambiguity with respect to kneeling for the national anthem and the Red Sox messaging of last week. It also caused me to wonder whether the Pegulas will donate the name of the stadium for the season to a charitable cause in the absence of a naming rights sponsor. I'm not sure Black Lives Matter Stadium would apply to a particular charity, but it might be something the NFL would like. To the extent the Bills identify a worthy charitable recipient, I wonder if the value of the forgone naming rights deal might help a bit with respect to taxes. In any event, good on the Bills for putting those video boards to good use.
  7. Hoax. It’s your fake Christianity that a lot of people take issue with.
  8. About 2/3 of the nation disapproves of this d bag and his lies and derelict leadership. *** Question: given the topic it’s appropriate to ask. Are all libs the product of demon sperm, yes or no?
  9. This is a non-hoax. Donny finally said something true. You talk to libs? Ewww. There is not enough tin foil in the world to make the hat that must be worn when defending the alien/demon sperm statement of that trump doctor.
  10. The Benjamin trade sucked. But it was a drought-buster. Not many guys make his TD catch against Indy in the snow.
  11. I won’t say bc I don’t want to alert the public to an empty house (assuming it’s still empty). But it’s not hauschka. Or kroft, as might have been suggested by next post. I wondered if Kroft would bail for the same reason. Young guy, guaranteed for this year from what I understand. If that’s true, not a huge incentive to take the risk.
  12. I wonder if anyone else will opt out. I had doubts about two who live in my neighborhood; one had a car in the driveway on my run today, but the other hasn't been around all offseason, including today. And the "other" is a pretty prominent player.
  13. There are a bunch of apartments near the stadium (some in OP, some in Hamburg). I used to live in one of the complexes. It was always sad to see some kid throwing belongings contained in a trash bag into a car after getting cut.
  14. There you go again with your hoaxy nonsense.
  15. Hoax. You’re clueless, intentionally or otherwise, if you correlate Antifa to hitler. Fortunately he has a long ways to go to catch trump.
  16. Unfortunately it appears that you're not very smart. Exercising leverage (be it economic or social) is a lot different from, say, kick-starting genocide with kristallnacht.
  17. You can disagree with "cancel culture," tearing down statutes (of racist traitors, to be clear), and mask-shaming. But you can't reasonably liken it to Nazism. That analogy is beyond inapt. It's a joke.
  18. Hoax. I have plenty of legitimate responses. It's just easier to sum up your lies and falsities in a single word. While we're on the subject, the fact remains that today's subject of your ire (AOC) had the courage to enter the arena and to succeed. (I note that you still have not identified the angelic "handlers" who catalyzed her success.) You, on the other hand, sit around and make nasty but anonymous Internet comments about people whose views differ from yours. That, sir, makes you a loser. Freudian. Let's see it, big boy. And this is coming from someone who does not share her politics. Just because she thinks differently from you (or, perhaps, actually thinks, in contrast to some others here) doesn't mean that she should be denigrated. So put your money where your mouth is and give us that supporting material. FYI - Since you last appeared here, Mr. Third n' Short has, among other things, *admitted that he has tiny baby hands, *Joined the Hoax, Fake News, Nasty Woman, and Suspected Short lists, *regularly practiced hate and misogyny, and *outed himself as an incel. So, yes, it probably still is a train wreck.
  19. I'm worried about that. Reinfection might tell the story there. I wonder if the "vaccine" will end up being a seasonal thing, kind of like a flu shot. Or if the vaccine will actually be shot that we get two or three or four times a year that helps as to avoid, but doesn't completely insulate us from, COVID.
  20. I share that understanding. You either have it or you don't. But it can take time for symptoms to manifest.
  21. It's all fun and games until somebody has permanent lung scarring and a ruined career because of COVID contracted playing a sport with insufficient testing and prophylactic protocols. Unbelievable.
  22. I think 32 bubbles would work. But I completely agree with you about starting the season in October. I would want no part of playing a Florida team, a TX team, AZ, or ATL, among others right now.
  23. Test. Every. Single. Day.
