If Trump loses and refuses to leave
SectionC3 replied to Kemp's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I eagerly anticipate their discussions of Hillary’s emails and Obamagate. Gonna be awesome. Or epic, as the esteemed don jr would say. -
You’re pretty easily triggered if you’re fantasizing about poisoning someone who disagrees with you on the internet. That is messed up.
-
Hate week ended a few months ago. And, for what it’s worth, comments like that one are going to haunt you int the interview process.
-
I knew you’d want to work for me! Unfortunately there are no chef positions open now. But I encourage you to apply later.
-
Hoax. See moderate comment. Your fool of a president is on the way out, and the economy will be better for it. And you want to be my financial adviser...
-
Nope. It doesn’t care about the margin in the House. It likes the fact that there will be a moderate government, hope for a stimulus package, and an executive who will actually do something about the COVID-19 pandemic. The market much prefers Biden + R senate + D House to status quo of hoaxes, Hunter Biden’s laptop, stop the count, keep the count going, fake news liberal media, airing of personal grievances, masks are for losers, and all of the other wearisome garbage it has seen from the Oval Office over the past few years.

New York State has allowed absentees to arrive via mail up to about a week after the election (provided the ballots are postmarked by the day of the election). It’s never been an issue until this whole “voter fraud” con got started a few months ago. In point of fact allowing that time for the ballots to arrive ensures that few, if any, voters are disenfranchised by a delay in “the mail.” It’s also particularly helpful with respect to overseas military ballots, which frequently arrive late.

I don’t have the time to look this up, but your “Wuhan Flu” comments fit the bill for me. Beyond that, the election is over. It’s time to count. And when the count is over, hopefully civility and common sense prevails no matter the outcome.

Based on the math I like Biden’s chances there. But it’s going to be very tight either way. Interesting thing there will be the “non-jungle” Senate race.
-
I’m worried about Nevada. Outstanding votes are from Clark County. But are they “early” or “day of” votes? Nevada is tight. Agree on the other stuff; Michigan is going blue, WI is probably going blue; PA probably will tip. GA is a decent possibility. I’m not confident in NC; did the math there and it’s an uphill climb. Muck up the post office in PA, hold NC and GA, and pray for a miracle in WI and maybe NV. It’s not done yet. FWIW, if I’m on Team Biden I am in court now in PA getting an order requiring the post office to move all ballots to boards of election before any other piece of mail is touched. Priority #1 for that campaign.

That’s interesting. I see Biden as slowing down a bit. I see Trump as early stage dementia with the confabulation. Reminds me of my grandfather in the early stages of Lewy body. Maybe they both have dementia. Who knows.

Local attorney trying to block sale of home to Tre White
SectionC3 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in Off the Wall
This wouldn't be the only case in which your observations ring true about the attorneys in question. -
Running on third and long was an indictment of their QB. He is brutal. And the wind yesterday was bad. I live near the stadium. Started out decent in the morning (south wind; unusual), but was shifting throughout the morning. Then, about five minutes before kickoff, the skies opened. Think biblical rain. And then the rain slowed but the wind remained strong (W to WSW, which is normal) for the duration of the afternoon. This wasn't the wind of the Cassel Patriots year or Giants 07, but it was plenty, plenty enough to disrupt the game, including our passing game. Davis looked like he was freezing in one of the sideline shots on TV. Rocking back and forth on the bench in a parka. Not surprised he dropped the pass. Looked a little checked out. BB was aided greatly by the weather yesterday. The wind was an equalizer.

Depends on how badly he wants the house. Doc is going to pony up here to quash this mess. Shouldn’t take long. Couple of bucks to make the Cercones go away and avoid getting some papers from the Whites. -

Look at the houses for sale on Grand View in Orchard Park. Not too shabby. You’ll like those. -

This is a typical lawyer move. Trying to squeeze the doc who owns the house for a little bit of cash. Three days of planning? Not worth much. Boo hoo. It’s just a conniving power play by a couple of guys who are like Martin Prince on the Simpsons. Also, it is a gorgeous house. Objectively I can’t say I blame the Cercones for being upset. It lingered on the market for awhile, but well appointed and good value. I liked it a lot when I looked at it. Just didn’t like the taxes. -

Depends on what the contract says. Not sure if they used the form ECBA contract or something else. -
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/e2-80-98lock-up-the-bidens-e2-80-99-trump-says-at-georgia-campaign-rally/ar-BB1a75L6 This is the stuff of banana republic dictators. It's what happens when we accommodate extremism. It has to end. There is no space for the unjustified incarceration of a political rival in any corner of this democracy. There is no space for the leader of this country to suggest such incarceration. And there should be no space for anyone to support that behavior, be it overtly, covertly, directly, or indirectly. This will be my last post here for awhile. It's come to my attention that my bluntness and honesty has hurt the feelings of some very tender Trump supporters here, and in doing so I may have hurt this website. I couldn't care less about the former issue; it's ironic and pathetic that a bunch of people who support misogyny, xenophobia, dog-whistle racism, and the unjustified incarceration of political opponents, and who lack the empathy to wear a mask to protect their neighbors during a pandemic, have complained about and are so damaged by the expression of truth. The latter issue, however, matters. I don't want to hurt this business, and I don't want to imperil this website. I've also wasted too much time here, amusing as it may be. So, I'll stand back and stand by for awhile. Hoax. I'm not a scumbag who supports the Proud Boys. But I will go away for awhile. That's the truth. Best of luck, and choose wisely in October/November. The fate of our democracy depends on it. Go Bills. I will see you all in happier times.

Yes. Great idea!
