Why root for TN win? Wouldn’t a loss be better?

I wonder if, when guys are held out of the final game that they had a big incentive riding on, the teams do like the sportsbooks and offer 20-40% of the incentive and cut their losses?

Trying to predict results this week is going to be tough, so I’m staying away. The Bills, Commanders, Lions and Bengals were good to me this past year; Cinci brought home 11-leg and 6-leg SGPs last week, so gonna quit while I’m ahead. However, the Lions game this week may be worth going all in on. Should be a playoff-caliber game.

I listed KC because they had a lot of key player injuries throughout the year. The point is injuries happen to many teams at inopportune times and I don’t think the Bills are an anomaly in that regard.

Look around the league and see the injury situations throughout the season. The Bills have nothing to complain about when you look at Detroit, San Francisco, KC, etc.

Maye has played in 12 games. One more game of experience is worth far less than the No 1 pick in the draft. The fact the Pats are considering sitting him confirms this.

I think the Pats will play starters a fair amount with Jacoby starting in place of Maye.

This game will be interesting because I think McD will want to see the backups playing hard and they will relish the chance to play and be motivated to win. The Pats on the other hand, are caught in the quandary of wanting to lose but not make it look obvious. Old timers may remember it came down to the Bills and Eagles vying for the No 1 pick (OJ Simpson), and the Eagles inexplicably won a final game and had to settle for drafting Leroy Keyes at No 2.

Elam will be interesting. He was inactive this past game. I think he screwed up his chance to stay out of McD’s doghouse. They will probably play him Sunday but only after all other CBs have their game.

Call up Gore and run wildcat every play after Allen gets the start.
