  1. There's a cool feature where they overlap video of 4 or 5 guys at once to highlight their differences. It's fun to see a clump of OL or DL running "together". I watch a few minutes of it here and there, just trying to catch some interesting moments. And more so for positions of need, I suppose.
  2. I don't like to keep talking about this guy, but he seems to rarely wrap-up tackle anyone, he just bumps them and expects them to fall. I noticed this a lot in the super bowl. What a shoddy way to play safety. Tackle the guy, fer chrissake! The one wrap-up tackle I noticed from Whitner was the WR after he caught the touchdown. Then you wrap him up?
  3. QB, but we need 2 or 3 LBs very badly (pending FA pickups). WR is needed too.
  4. I love the fact that our 33-year old OC has been in locker rooms and coaching sessions with his offensive specialist dad since he was 8 years old. It gives me hope for the Bills new offense.
  5. If N. Suh can get away with kicking Matt Schaub in the groin on his way to falling down, then this should not be called either. I don't know if Suh was fined.
  6. Can I get an amen?! After blowing the first Super Bowl, why didn't our friggin' Harvard coach tell these "men" to get some sleep on Saturday night because there is a GOD DAMN GAME TOMORROW!!! That still pisses me off that those clowns blew 4 Super Bowls in a row. Why don't you go partyin' AFTER THE GAME! Dickheads. You just don't get many chances like that.
  7. Oops. Ummm, well, I uh, that is, my wife watches it, and it's on pretty loud, so it's hard to not hear it. The View has a hideous howling audience, really annoying to be anywhere near the TV when it is on. Thankfully, the football guys have no studio audience.
  8. Hey, Skeletor was a consistent 7-9 for 3 seasons, not quite top 10 stuff.
  9. Those pregame shows remind me of The View, but they have 5 men talking at the same time instead of 5 women. I can't stand watching those shows.
  10. The huge difference I see is that Doug Marrone has a "fire in his belly", a deep passion for the game of football and some loyalty to upstate NY (even though he is a Bronx native). I understand the cynicism many Bills fans feel regarding new coaches, and all the feel good stories once they are hired. But if you read some of the articles about Marrone, you may be able to notice a difference from the usual retread head coaches the Bills hired in the past.
  11. I seem to remember that, too - that Brooks got dinged, but came back in shortly after that. I think he will turn out to be a pretty good CB ultimately.
  12. Isn't Kevin Greene a Syracuse alum? EDIT: No, he played at Auburn.
  13. I think Powell did a good job, and I am very happy they made that move. There have been a couple of shanks, but overall, I think Powell will be a very good asset for the Bills. They should try him on the long kickoff job, too.
  14. I saw that Andy Reid is 95% sure he will take Arizona HC job. I think Ray Horton appears to be a good choice - former NFL player, coached under LeBeau with Steelers.
  15. Neither is wearing a seat belt, apparently. I recall the story of Derrick Thomas driving from KC to St Louis in icy conditions, and not wearing a seat belt. Derrick was killed, two others injured or killed. No seat belts - setting a terrible example for kids to follow...
  16. Thank you, John, for articulating this point. I wish there were some way the Bills organization (or lack of same?) could take your sound advice to heart.
  17. http://niagarahub.com/2012/12/10/bills-thrills-bills-don-their-gailey-off-season-apparel/ A nice quote about the 15-12 loss to the Rams (from my new favorite Bills writer!)
  18. If it's still Fitz & Gailey, I will consider dropping it. But I do like having my choice of games to watch. Today, I enjoyed the Packers/Bears game. Sigh, then the damned Bills come on... I just knew Fitz would throw a pick-6. After his first INT, I thought Nope that's not it. There will be another, taken to the house. It's sad how predictable a Bills fan's gloom and doom has become.
  19. Probably someone from the Pittsburgh coaching tree, maybe Ray Horton, the Cardinals DC, who played in the league, and coached under Dick LaBeau.
  20. Before the game, they said that when Jeff Fisher came to St Louis, he replaced 34 players from the Rams roster. 34 players. And that most were no longer playing football anywhere (I would have to verify that part) Holy crap. I bet a real coach coming to the Bills could release a lot of dead wood (driftwood?) as well. Sadly, it will never happen though.
  21. And I believe when Spiller's contract is up, he will find a team that knows how to use his skills and he will become a star. Chan's coaching is going to cost us a star player IMO.
