  1. we shall see. he had the opportunity to shop himself last year, and he came back to Buffalo on a greatly reduced salary. I am willing to bet he signs somewhere for backup money and the opportunity to compete for a starting job. Good backup money in the neighborhood of $7-$9 M, but certainly not $18M starter money.
  2. Happy Thanksgiving to all! May be my last as I️ type as my 16 year old son drives me north on 95!
  3. Good thing we have Okposo on the ice in the final minute these last two games, dude has been a definite difference maker
  4. Bills one of the few underdogs that consistently get bet. about 60% of the money on the Bills right now, very strange. Bills took most the money at Cinci to as an underdog.. But the money line is crazy large, +350 right now at Bovada. Chief -500 wowzer. If I bet this game, and I doubt I will, be nothing but a little on the Bills money line. They either going to get smoked or win the game outright. Might as well take the 350 if you wanna bet the Bills.
  5. It is when are scared you can’t hold your own in an argument and must resort to name calling.
  6. betting action right down the middle right now, 50/50 each side.
  7. My daughter was born in 99..but i knda like her even is she is a curse
  8. if not just confined to this year 1) After the first drive for each team in the Bills 2nd game under Rex against the Pats, we moved right down the field, they went 3 and out, i actually thought "damn, i was wrong on Rex, this is the real deal" . 2) I have a ticket for $100 on the Browns to win the North this year at 25-1, cause you know process and all
  9. we should pin this post and see where are in 2019. Yes, that is the approach we have taken as opposed to the last 17 years of cobble together some talent and lets see where we end up. The only thing McBeane did wrong is win some fluky games this year, and not play the Pats until late in the season. Had the Bills started out 3-6 with a thorough trouncing by the Pats in the books, none of this false optimism would have gotten him in the place where people now want to fire him. We would all be about next year, screaming to give the kid QB more reps, etc. I think the only mistake the tandem has made is getting sucked in by the fluky wins just as the fans did, and trading for Benjamin and if they let that affect their decision on the starting QB the rest of the year.
  10. not always. Interceptions are not worse when you are down 14+ points and need to make plays, losing by 14 or 28, who cares? As Herm said, you play to win the game, not keep it close and make your QBR look good. good point, but the difference of the Bills over the last 3 years in terms of point scored is dramatic one game not withstanding
  11. Ole Charlie Rose next up..have watched his show on PBS on and off for seems like 20 years, and like him in the morning. Why all these dudes get naked ???
  12. but is it set to 338? Funny thing was on Saturday got home from dinner and plopped down to watch game about 10, not there! And I was not upset! Bit that was first time i did not get the game recorded, so something going on
  13. oh okay, so Donald Jones is the ONLY expert that can be right. There was plenty of discussion around that play, and again it was one freaking play in a game they scored 3, yes three points in. And you are saying the QB had no hand in that ineptitude. The D balled out that game, got nothing from TT! So obviously yesterday was just beyond awful, and of course, INT are worse, in some cases, than not throwing. But to me, its like blackjack and you got 16 and the dealer is showing an 8, and you have your last $100 on the table. Not hitting ensure that you will not bust, and maybe the dealer will. But the odds are you are better hitting. That's how I feel about being ultraconservative at the QB position.
  14. interesting on the practice note, but i agree with most of what you say regarding stop the bull crap and call this what it is, a rebuild.
  15. and a bunch of other experts have said Taylor put it in the wrong place, again its one play. A bunch of "experts" have also watched every play the Bills have run on all 22, and say Taylor refuses to throw to open receivers, but there is no stat for that.
  16. i would also ask if Taylor starts, when should he get pulled? If he has no picks, but less than 5 first downs and 3 points and the Bills are down 20, time to yank him? What is the criteria there?
  17. All I am saying is most so-called "experts" miss prolly 50% of the time too. Its a crap shoot with these guys. have never said the wins are in spite of him, and the losses are all on him. This is the ultimate team game, who he plays with, how the D plays, everything factors into it. I dont know how many ways I can say I think TT is BETTER than Peterman, but not in this scheme! I detest Denison, have from the start of the season, but if he is staying Taylor is not the right guy for this offense, this year or next!
  18. And most will say Taylor put that in the wrong spot. And without a gift, Defensive TD in Atlanta and a whacked call in the Denver game and 3 TO's against TB and 4 against the Raiders those all could be losses. Cant play the if game in the NFL, dude has been the starter for 2 1/2 years, he is what he is, a .500 QB that wins if everything around goes perfect. And perfect means get a lead and win TO battle. I really don't think I need to bring up his record when down by 4 at ANY TIME in game do I?
  19. I think the Bucs game was only close because Taylor could not produce TDs after great field position starts after Turnovers. I also think the run game is awful based on Taylor's skill set IN THIS SCHEME. Like I said, I think TT prolly better than Peterman in the right scheme, just not this one. And tell me Taylor was not a huge part of the losses at Carolina, Cinci, NY and the Saints. Not all his fault, and certainly the D just as at fault the last two, but the Cinci and Carolina performances out of him were absolutely atrocious.
  20. I can't remember a game they won because of Taylor, but a couple they lost that they really should have won based on his play. Certainly, Miami and Seatle come to mind from last year. So i said it last week and i will say it again, I think Taylor is the better player, but not in this scheme. So something had to give, and scheme won out. I have way more problems with the OC and head coach for not keeping what worked from last intact then I have with them making the switch at QB. Why if you are going to "trust the process " and keep Denison, go ahead and keep playing Nathan cause tyrod will never be a fit here.
  21. o God yes, thought the one silver lining yesterday was KC losing and thinking maybe that pick gets in the top 15 somehow, but then I looked at their schedule and they have 3 AFC East games left, Denver and Oakland. They ain't losing more than 1 of those games.
  22. i dunno, they have lost 4 of last 5 no?
  23. Did Peterman have anything to do with the two poundings this team took before yesterday? The 7 points and 3 point outings Taylor put up? You cant say it was idiotic to bench Taylor based solely on the Saints game, but then with absolute certainty that Peterman is cooked after a 1/2 of a game!
  24. how in the world you can say the Babe was a horror show is beyond me.
