  1. The OP is the same guy who said based on what McD saw in practice, it was a disgrace he started Peterman..never having seen a practice or even read a description of a practice post-training camp. His view of McD is totally skewed by the Peterman decision, he will just never see McD as a viable coach, so take what he says with a grain of salt.
  2. They all get sick quite a bit there. I think these guys can drive pretty hard bargains on their contracts as the ratings are sky high, and they negotiate a ton of sick days and are not afraid to use them. . I dont believe Bulldog was sick for one minute on Sunday, think he just thought they were going to get destroyed and he did not feel like dealing with the callers..o
  3. That brings to mind a question my son and I always have driving through the hinterlands of central PA and seeing a ton of porn shops..how in the world does a porn shop make money nowadays? We just figured the internet has not come to Coudersport, Smethport and wherever in the hell @CountryCletus lives, but this one is in Dallas?? Figured a front for something, but I would not want to pay my book in a porn shop, maybe they launder money?
  4. I don't buy that argument the only way to keep up with the team is with GR. I mean we just had a what 30 page thread debating why pay for the BN when there are so many other outlets today available covering the team. I think, I should say know, you listen cause you enjoy the shows. You and everyone else would not listen otherwise. As an example, you don't see a lot of people bitching about Murphs show, cause no one listens, no one cares what he says, and the show is boring as hell. And I don't mean to get cranky, but I can guarantee if someone criticizes the team or a player etc, your immediate reaction is to say "typical buffalo, all they can do is B word".Sometimes they deserve praise, but a ton of ton they deserve criticism for the way the play and the decisions they make. To play it any other way on the radio would be disingenuous.
  5. Last year was $20
  6. Really is none, and wish they had more people out patrolling the area, telling people its a not a rock concert and please, please , pick up your nasty trash. We have always had grills and open fires in all 3 lots. To me, the only reason to park there over Hammers is quite a bit easier egress out after the games or parking in back lot if you have a bunch of kids and want a quieter experience. 10 minute to front lot, 15 minute to back lot
  7. Everything is allowed that would be allowed on any other lot. Light on the porta-potties though, so the boys all use a stand of trees/woods. ECC is kinda three lots. I will describe from coming in off Southwestern. Enter the lot and head to your left, so in front of the school building , and you are in the main lot. Then go across a small access that leads to the stadium road and there is what we called an upper lot, lots of room up there to set up on grass. Enter from Southwestern and turn right, a really big lot surrounded by grass and fields. Never crowded back there, that's is where we would park for large family tailgates when the kids where 5-14 years old.
  8. Pavement, but lots of grass fields surround the lots. We parked there when kids were young so they had plenty of room to play in fields etc, especially in the back lot. That really is a great lot if you have young kids that need room to run and play.
  9. its a thing everywhere, but don't think that is affecting TV ratings. Look at the Club level in any NFL stadium, seats in clubs seem like never more than half full. So many club seats used as corporate entertainment, and plenty of the folks using the tickets not even there for the "game", there for the event.
  10. I think that's probably right. Most of the folks I hang with fall to the liberal side, and cant say I know of anyone boycotting the NFL over the protests, but wrong of me to think that is a fair representation across the board.
  11. I am sure I know a group of parkers that would be more than happy to buy said furniture, pay for your parking and all your tailgate expenses if you would promise to park there instead of your usual haunt!
  12. I think there are a couple 1) Flags and Replays. Too much of the excitement is gone as I know I never celebrate a TD or big play anymore until 100% confirmed . Takes the joy out of watching the game. 2) LA Market is gone. 3) I think people are watching on multiple devices, and these are not counted in the ratings as far as i know 4) NFL still feels very fan-unfriendly at the stadiums.Pisses me off to no end I cannot watch streaming games within a mile of the stadium. Fine, black out the other games during the live game I am attending, but damn it let me watch the other games in the lot. For that matter, show the damn red zone during commercials on one of the big boards. EDIT..someone else mentioned red zone, that's a good call. For games I am watching on TV, i set up one TV for Bills game, the other is always exclusively REDZONE through a stream and firestick. I am sure that is killing ratings as the poster mentioned above. Never really realized there were no commercials, interesting.
  13. May Day, you have it all wrong! Its Bills fans( who seel out the joint consistently) and Buffalo media who have caused a 17 year run of futility in the football team and 14 out of 17-year mess on the hockey team. The teams have made nothing but the absolute right decisions, and the stinky fans in Buffalo and the stinky media are just overly negative with 6 playoff teams in the last 34 years. We just have never learned to patient!!! Do I have that right PTR?
  14. Yes, 1000% percent LOL..It could Happen
  15. Why in Gods green earth do you still listen to it then? You have a choice, dont load the GR app on your phone. You kill me with "its only negativity in Buffalo" and yet always react negatively to everything Buffalo and Buffalo fans. You do not practice what you preach young man! I think both the morning and afternoon shows are very good.
  16. I would do the exact opposite. Go in with the same vanilla game plan and pray for a miracle. Keep all your good stuff for the next two games.
  17. I am a Terps fan, and that boy can throw some bombs in no?
  18. Thought that was related a lot to Rex and all his checks and substitutions.
  19. Now how in the hell did that happen? Makes no sense, will have to look it up. Do you know why? found this on a Pats board. I really do not remember this BTW, all the early money( the sharps lol) is on the Pats, but line moving towards the Bills. HMM. Very early read.
  20. essentially these guys are getting 3 games, that's ridiculous for a few punches. 1/5th of the season, no way in my mind. Definitely going to 1, and maybe even to time served after appeal.
  21. unless they made changes this year, was always 9, they followed same rules as Bills lots. And that could very well be the case, I honestly don't know. BTW, we used to park in ECC religiously but moved the last couple years to Hammers as thought the ECC lot was getting just too damn loud with everyone competing to play their music louder, and the lot was just a pig sty by about 10:30.Not quite the bus lot, but getting there. The fields are nice, and the trees for the men, but Hammers lot be nice and tidy makes it the premier lot in my mind. And the ladies do like their own potty.
  22. Depends on what you mean. Uber gets in the same traffic as everyone else, so not sure what that buys you.Uber lot on the corner where Hammers is located, so just can't see how that saves any time. Not saying this to be a knucklehead, but there is a damn good chance this will be an early leaving crowd, and if you leave Hammers by 5, should be at the airport by 6. Again, assuming a crowd that starts to really leave by early 4th. My wife and son left Hammers at 5:30 after Saints games, they were at airport at 6:15. But that game was over mid 3rd. If it is a close game, you may have to leave a skooch early and beat some traffic to be 100% safe. Park as close to the entrance at Hammer as conditions allow and Mr. Hammer allow!
  23. Might be on demand, but just watched the final Fashion Police. I have not watched this show since Joan died but was a good hour of laughs looking back. Damn Joan Rivers was funny.
  24. 3 for me 1)as mentioned by many, the second Rex game.Up 7-0, Pats just go 3 and out, place was cranked, had visions of sugarplums in my head 2)not on the list, but the game where Bills are leading 14-7, and Chan puts in Spiller with a bum shoulder and he promptly fumbles on the 1 yd line right before half. But Bills get ball in 2nd half and Donald Jones makes it 21-7. I was like, woo, maybe we got a team with some mental toughness. Pats score six straight touchdowns running the ball down our throats for another though beatdown. 3) TJ Graham game in Boston. We get an unbelievable fumble recovery on that drive(can't remember Freddie or Donald Jones) and again thought, this finally has to be out time to have luck go our way. Then TJ
  25. Not the way i understand it. The 5th year option is guaranteed for injury preventing the player from playing the 5th year, but absent injury the team is free to rescind the offer. At least that is how I interpret it.
