  1. almost70% of the money bet was on the Seahawks last night when I checked about 5 PM yesterday, so the books got beat pretty bad last night if the 5 1/2 was accurate. Bovada ended up at 6pts, and would have loved for the Cards to cover. General rule of thumb is Books win if Underdog covers Public wins if favorite covers . I don't play totals, but way more money goes on the over , and the under hit so they made their money there, and with a 40 total the missed XP did not factor into the result
  2. I was going to say not one good pizza place in Buffalo, as I am not a fan of Buffalo pizza! But will have to try this Roccos . Having said that, growing up LaHacienda in the Falls was as close to NYC pizza as one could get, but having experienced so much great pizza since I have moved that even seems pale by comparison now. Now I do like to go to VPN Certified pizza places if at all possible as i too like thin crust, crispy, pizza. http://americas.pizzanapoletana.org/
  3. This story is awesome! Now , we need more women like you Hammers lot( I assume you are woman?) See you have never been to game in Buffalo, you should 100% plan the home playoff game this year! If not that game, the home opener next year!
  4. cmon Augie, I know there is a direct from ATL to BUF.see you 7:45 Sunday!
  5. Haha on the cheese. For our honeymoon, we traveled to Budapest soon after Hungary had exited the Soviet Bloc. On train from Budapest to Vienna, ordered only thing I could discern on the menu, which i thought was a grilled cheese. Came back as a two inch hunk of cheese with some mold spots between two rock hard pieces of cold bread, and an inch of mayonnaise slathered on top. Needless to say, waited till we hit Vienna for breakfast! damn, i was at both these games as well
  6. But, but , I sent you a picture, she saw it, I AM REAL !!! No facebook for me at all, drove me crazy. Twitter for me, use insta to follow people but never post
  7. My thought as well. and yep
  8. You are more than welcome to bring some dogs and throw them in the fryer post hame if you are able to hang around this weekend. We were deep frying the crap out of some god awful pastrami bacon I made at the opener, made it quire edible!
  9. Money, exposure and donations Damn, you want them to do time for shoplifting some sunglasses? Not even a misdemeanor in some states.
  10. Was wondering why the board seemed like such a better place for a few days
  11. well, the rumor was Ronnie was a hardcore gambler and in deep with the Columbo family and threw the 86 Rose Bowl as well. https://www.timesledger.com/stories/2002/31/20020801-archive795.html
  12. Had to be Crawdaddies right? And I was just out of school and living in Buffalo back then, Williamsville to be exact. Jim and crew would often come into he Piece Arrow and party like rock stars. And act like the Ahole rock stars. Always figured it was just us getting cranky cause they walked in, any chance we had of getting attention from any of the hot chicks went right out the window! Pretty sure Ronnie was going to get a bullet in his head if he caught that ball
  13. Saints fans are all welcome, Leafs fans not so much! JK, had a bunch of Sens fans over after the Raider gam! These guys were Sens and Raiders fans and Canadian for Christ sake..so 3 strikes and we still welcomed em! Well, i pay for all tickets and expenses, and have a TV to watch the games on...so much like Greek life at college, its Rent a Friend!
  14. I did the gumbo last game, but think we are too many this game to do, but I may reconsider . Now you make sure to tell them to plan on joining us for real Buffalo wings post game!
  15. Some calls for Collins as well in his last year
  16. yea, they have become quite spoiled and it is the epitome , along with Dallas, of a corporate NFL crowd, that's for sure.
  17. I have a good time at the NE games Kirby, but its cause i actually like the city of Boston a ton. Stay downtown, take the train right to the stadium. People have all actually been very nice to me and family/friends. Much better experience now than it was at Shaeffer Stadium for sure
  18. San Diego was bad. Only been to the 1 game there, Rob Johnson Vs Ryan Leaf in his very first game for the Chargers, and you are right, not a great experience.
  19. His first season was something though. 4-12, but you could just tell he was on the come! But man o man, did he through some brutal picks that first year. For example, Cinci game that year he started rough, then led the Bills from down 10 to up 10(appx.) , but threw a brutal Fitzesque pick first play of OT to lose the game. He had a few of those, but ya just knew he was something special
  20. I used Craigslist this week to buy two tickets for Saints game. Saw them listed on Ticketexchange, and just searched that section on Craigslist, and luckily there they were! Kinda knew the tickets were legit as they were listed on ticketexchange. Negotiated a price that resulted in lower price for me and higher payout to him, all good! Normally would never buy on craigslist unless I was meeting in person and getting hard tickets EDIT, holy shindikes.just looked stubhub for fun, $166 to park for an RV? Is that normal?
  21. I would look craigslist and stubhub
  22. Have been to prolly 50 road games over the years. Worst experience was in 87 in the LA Colisium for a Raiders game. Douche bags were actually giving my 67 year old mom **** for wearing Bills gear. Whole atmosphere from tailgate to game experience just flat out sucked. Lot it of great experiences, New Orleans right up there. Baltimore is always a ton of fun. I️ actually have a good time in Philly at the couple of games I️ have attended.
  23. Plenzmd1-need 4 spots now. Lenz family and Friends. Fair and unbalanced!
