  2. Donated the $70, and also bought one of these from 26shirts. All profits go the same fund ( i think) . Anyway, if you dont know Del Reid was really a co-creator of #BillsMafia, and started 26shirts as a way to help raise funds for people in need in WNY. Follow on Twitter , you will end up with more shirts than you think!!
  3. spose so, unless she likes good pizza, then she will be pissed.
  4. Pics guys? (just not the nude twister ones please)
  5. Ok, I do remember them now!
  6. You must be really freaking old, or weird, prolly both, but I ain't never heard of these guys
  7. Funny, I rarely if ever listen to the Murphy show and do not particularly like either, but have it on now with the Wood news. Jones just spoke vet poignantly and honestly about how he dealt with being forced to retire..quite good.
  8. I think Sal would speak his mind a bit too much for PSE Same here..and am I wrong but Freddie does not live in WNY does he?
  9. Whether you like Buffalo pizza or not, the thing that ALWAYS strikes me when I go home is just how freaking expensive pizza and wings are in WNY. I just looked at Picassos menu, and as a "special" they have a medium pizza and 15 wings for $27! With tax and tip, that's $35 dollars to have it deliverd...holy smokes!!! For the World Junior game, we ordered a large pizza and 30 wings from some place on GI, and it was like $45 . For freaking pizza and wings???
  10. Good to hear Pooj, last couple years been poopy. Going to the beer store today will grab a six. Wonder if Wegmans carries Troegs?
  11. They look like a real team..and its all been effort..that's the only difference. What do you do with that moving forward?
  12. I will have you know my food recommendations are universally recognized as being "perfect"...If I say it, it is so!
  13. freaking NHL is such a joke..and he gets to play in the All Star Game.. his history http://www.masslive.com/bruins/index.ssf/2018/01/brad_marchand_suspension_history_a_look_at_the_boston_bruins_forwards_disciplinary_history.html#incart_river_home
  14. For shaving I use I use the 5 blase battery powered ones, think they are Gillette, and love em! Medium beard, shave every day, blade lasts a good 3 weeks. Buy twenty of em at Costco once a year or so.I dunno know, maybe they re $50? I don't use razors for anything else outside of shaving, a razor blade knife i guess, I have no particular brand for that.
  15. To be fair, he would be an absolute idiot to come out and say" we will do whatever it takes to get into the Top 5" , and I don't think he is an idiot !
  16. Brian Brown..UDFA on the Cowboys practice squad all last year. I was screaming for the Bills to take him last year. http://www.dallascowboys.com/team/players/roster/brian-brown
  17. Hard to quote horned frogs, but i will go anyway 1) First memory of Bills is my first game at the Rockpile. 3 things stand out to me from that game parking on the street, but having to pay $5 to some dude to "watch " our car. seeing a kid my age get his ticket stolen right from his hand(carry my tickets front pocket till this this day) seeing the fights in the end zone for the ball after kicks 2) Favorite poster..tie between Hammersticks, Augie, and Levi just cause they all make me laugh, and that is way more important to me than anyone's opinion on the Bills 3) user name is simple. work email was plenz, when I wanted a Hotmail account plenz was taken. I lived in MD then, but some DR. had taken plenzmd. So went with plenzmd1, and just used that when I signed up here way back when in like 2003 or so. Random question for next poster...what popular Bills player have you despised the most and why?
  18. Several factors in play, but just like in San Francisco, couple of major trends 1) DC area highest percentage of college graduates in the country, and with that comes the highest percentage of two-income families. So yes, salaries are higher, and in most cases have two earners making much above average income 2) Us old farts (boomers) are moving back to urban areas in ever-increasing numbers, we sick of the burbs and are still extremely active well into late 70's. And we got money, and willing to pay up for what we want. We beat out several bids from much younger folks for our place, It is why cities like Buffalo, Detriot, Pittsburgh on East Coast and Spokane and Portland on West are teeming with millennial activity now, housing is much more affordable compared with the traditional big Urban areas.
  19. My mission is accomplished! I should say I am not a fan of "buffalo" style pizza, and LaNova is certainly that!
  20. The District is just so damn pricey now..we have a place on Kalorama Rd, 2 beds/2 baths...no parking 1000SF..conservative at$ 850K now. Now we do have a nice little front porch, which adds about $50K, so that might even out the no parking. But in a top end building, $1M for 3 bed is about right.
  21. Can't speak for the other two, but LaNova to me is quite possibly the worst pizza I have ever eaten. Give me a Dominos Pan Pizza overt that stuff, and I put Dominos pan pizza just slightly ahead of cardboard.
  22. As a gambler, not sure how I feel about this. 1% to the NBA, you know the states and the feds are going to want a piece.at minimum 1% , but lost likely 8-10%..all of a sudden it gets hard to make a profit..be interesting to see if it did go legal if the fees would still drive most to use offshore books with no fees.
  23. 35 Miles from downtown aint in no way a 30 minute commute. 60 minutes at best on a train door to door..might as well live in Milwaukee DC is getting quite crazy..you would hate to see what $1M gets ya now..and it ain't no townhouse that's for stinking sure. If you wanted to be in the District in a not"upcoming" neighborhood, $1m will get you a very nice, with top end appointments, 2/3 bedroom/2 bath condo with a parking space. Total SF maybe 1200. Parking space deeded separately, figure about $50K of the $1M.
  24. I like one critic and its Ann Hornaday from the Washington Post. She is on the Kornheiser podcast most Fridays, and she and Tony have great discussions about the movies. While I don't like 100% of what she recommends, I trust her more than most. https://www.washingtonpost.com/people/ann-hornaday/?utm_term=.984f4ae5db7a
