Does anyone know why we are getting a flood of registrations today?
Heitz replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Clearly everyone (ok, most people) LOVE new unis! What else could it be... -
Just got off a flight to this great news. I'm hoping for the white helmet w charging buffalo look - 90's red, white and blue with that helmet... Finally, an excuse to buy more new Bills gear!

Parking at RWS is cheap compared to Dallas
Heitz replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As soon as they hold a Super Bowl in the Ralph Hammer is set! I keep saying the Bills are the least expensive fun you can have - $50 tickets, $20 parking. Hell, a lift ticket at the major US ski resorts are around $90 now! That's more than a Bills ticket plus parking... -
Golisano "interested" to keep the Bills in Buffalo
Heitz replied to EndZoneCrew's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Meh, another article about the dangers of Fracking - I think we all know there are issues with the business (though, I wouldn't see any if I sold my company for $4.7 billion). Not sure what that has to do with the guys love of hockey. Also, he's from the area, not Florida. And am I supposed to be shocked that a billionaire gave hundreds of thousands to the Republicans? Nope... Let's give the guy a chance before poo-pooing his ownership of the Sabres... As for the Bills, I too am interested in keeping there here - anyone (other than Pegula), have about a billion I can borrow? -
LA Takes a big step towards getting the NFL back
Heitz replied to CosmicBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Guess you know more than anyone else... Just wanted to touch on that first point, from a Buffalo Rumblings article: if the sale of the Sabres came through at $175 million, it'd represent just 5.8 percent of Pegula's total net worth, which exceeds $3 billion. Gleason reports that Pegula's true passion is Sabres hockey, but that Pegula is a Bills fan "with a fondness for the Detroit Lions". Gleason writes: "Without getting too far ahead, sources said, he would be very interested in buying the Bills after the passing of owner Ralph C. Wilson Jr., now 92, if enough variables fall into place." http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2010/12/2/1850502/report-terry-pegula-may-have-interest-in-buying-buffalo-bills I think time will tell on this one... -
Scouts critical of Bills coaching at Senior Bowl

Annnnnd it all comes full circle as Mayock talks about how good Chan and staff treated everyone. So funny / predictable... -
Scouts critical of Bills coaching at Senior Bowl

Yeah, what he said! I've been watching NFLN all week and haven't heard anything bad about Chan and crew at all o_O -
I just paid for my 2011 Season Tickets
Heitz replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
$432 for NFL season tickets just seems so inexpensive to me! I'm sure Jets and Giants fans (and probably quite a few others) would agree... If only Buffalo weren't so far away from BVT, I'd buy tickets in a second. If we get "good" again and I know I can sell the games I don't go to, I might pick up a couple tickets next year or the following. Congrats on the purchase - there isn't much you can spend $50 an have as much fun as a Bills game. Even when we lose the food, friends and scene is worth the price of admission! -
Imagine this... The Bills in the Super Bowl
Heitz replied to SuperBills12's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Imagine the Bills winning the big game, on the last drive, by a FG. Then imagine coming to TBD on Monday and listening to people (and Sully) B word because we "barely" won! The only question for me would be where do I watch the game? Do I have a party at my place (the standard)? Do I go to the game? Do I fly back to Buffalo to watch? Hard to say, but I know this - I'll be fired up as hell to watch the boys finally take one home for Buffalo!!! -
Im Confused about the Shawn Merriman signing

Jeff Fisher to part ways with Titans

Gregg, Mularky and Fewell on the short list for the job according to NFLN INTRIGUE! -
Jeff Fisher to part ways with Titans
Heitz replied to /dev/null's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Titans are flat out crazy! They drop a coach like Fischer so long after the season and going into the next (Senior Bowl scouting), etc. Then they stick to their guns about getting rid of Young. No Coach, no staff, no QB - sweet. Look at it this way - the Titans are in disarray while the Bills are doing HANDS ON evaluating of the top seniors in the country. Let's hope it translates... -
Im Confused about the Shawn Merriman signing

Of course, a few years after his injury TKO is playing and playing well for the 49ers. But don't let that get in the way of a bad argument... -
Good article by Gaughn on Buddy Nix Today
Heitz replied to bananathumb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
OMG - the Bills are going to draft defensive and offensive players that fit what we're trying to do! Cats out of the bag, we're screwed now... -
Packers fan fired from Chicago-area job
Heitz replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To me, the most telling quote / lines are: “I was just showing my love for my team and it was a nice, smart tie that matched my clothes — none of the customers minded: they had a sense of humor about it.” Roberts agreed that no customers had complained about the tie when Stone was asked to remove it at 10:30 a.m., and that Stone was a good salesman who sold 14 cars last month. To fire someone over a tie just seems stupid to me. The customers didn't mind and he's a good salesman - if anything just break the guys balls all day and have fun with it. As for the Bears promotion I'm pretty sure no one from the Bears would have been out checking up on their local car dealer marketing partnerships. And even if they had, I doubt the Bears are going to refuse their money and loaners because of THIS. I'm so thankful I have a job where no one dictates how I dress... -
Bills coaching staff/Senior Bowl practice live
Heitz replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bummer - I missed it. There's also a Sr. Bowl practice recap show on NFLN at 8:30 called "Path to the Draft", FWIW... -
Great interview... Buddy did say they won't draft for position, but didn't say we'll take the BPA - he said they'll take the player that they think can make the biggest impact. Maybe a CB like Peterson will be the BPA on the board, but not the guy that Buddy and Chan feel can make the biggest impact for this team. I bet we'll all find out in a few months when the draft is held

Proof that Brady was jawing Jets sideline
Heitz replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Brady talks smack off camera, the Jets do it on camera. Who cares really? Though one has to think that Tommy Boy has a little bit more of a reason to talk smack - what's Cromartie's ring count to Brady's? Yeah... -

Could Leach end up in Miami after all???
Heitz replied to The Senator's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A couple things: - That first article is old, I don't remember Pat White changing the NFL and the Wildcat is on it's way out. Not saying Leach can't be successful, but that can't be your proof! - You guys think Ralph is "meddlesome"? Their owner trying to dictate their offensive philosophy. We'll Start Fast! Razzle Dazzle Baby! It worked for Danny boy!! Heck of a way to run an organization if you ask me. Let's all hope they fail -
Could Leach end up in Miami after all???
Heitz replied to The Senator's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Senator is his cousin or brother or something. I just haven't been able to piece it all together yet... Senator, I really hope he does go *somewhere* just so we can see if the college hype is real! -
Interesting perspective on Gruden: "For those wondering why Miami didn't do whatever it took to get Bill Cowher, the Dolphins only had strong interest in an offensive-minded coach and Cowher's forte is defense. Though Jon Gruden's background is on offense, the Dolphins weren't interested. One NFL official (not with Miami) said this is a concern for some teams: Gruden wants a lot of money, isn't strong on personnel decisions and can quickly change his mind on players, which can be frustrating for his personnel people."

Dave Wannstedt expected to talk to Bills
Heitz replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
But, but - what about all of the theories / conspiracies already posted in this thread!?! -
I'm not a huge fan of the carbon fiber helmet look, but do like the fluorescent yellow pop colors. Give me matte black with that yellow and it'll be like looking into the sun Interesting to see what they've done with the unis all year...
