  1. Uh, I think Marshawn will be ok tonight Pretty amazing play...
  2. Guess Fisher won, per Schefter's Twitter: "Bud Adams: Vince Young will not be on our roster next season." "And so Jeff Fisher wins. And stays." Very interesting. Let's hope he ends up in Carolina!
  3. Holy dude, do you ever stop? As you may remember we were supposed to be the worst team in the league this year, we were not supposed to win ONE game, some called us the worst team in the history of the NFL. Our huge problems were LT and QB (ironically not many were calling out our potential run D, or lack thereof) How did all that work out? Not quite like everyone predicted. I'm not saying we're going to win the Superbowl, but damn can we at least have a draft, FA and maybe training camp before saying we're going winless in 2012 and beyond? Put away your Jump To Conclusions mat and let it all play out...
  4. Just wanted to see if I can rally some of the TBD troops to help out a cause I've been working up here in lovely Burlington, VT (where I also lead the charge for the Bills)... We're working to get an incredible new 15,000 sq ft cement skatepark built here in BTV next summer. As part of our fundraising efforts we've applied for a $25,000 grant from the Pepsi Refresh Project - we just need to be in the top 10 vote getters by end of the month. If you have a chance and you'd like to support a great project, it would appreciated! I might even dish out a Miller High Life or 10 at next year's home opener! http://www.refresheverything.com/burlingtonskatepark Thanks in advance!!
  5. I would say no to Mangini in any roll - in an ESPN survey of pro players he was named the guy they would least like to play for (fwiw)
  6. And with the Jags down two scores and driving, Trent takes a sack. They miss a FG. Jack Del Rio's head explodes.
  7. I would already nominate this for thread of 2011...
  8. Good, one less thing for people to B word about I'm actually glad to see what Brian can do in a game, can't hurt to start looking toward next year. I'm sure it's going to be a real barn burner! o_O
  9. Where did you get the terms? They're not on his Twitter...
  10. I was at the Colts game last year, it was a win, trust me I saw it with my own two eyes... Also, just watched Rex's press conference, I didn't see the "wink wink" attitude you reference in the OP. Read into things much?
  11. That is either complete truth or totally made up. Way to speculate...
  12. Or more specifically so says a tweet from Shawn Stepner from WKBW: "#Jets head coach Rex Ryan says he voted #Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick on to his pro bowl roster as 4th QB" Take it for what it's worth. Perhaps the fans view of Fitz's sucktitude is a bit off base. Or maybe Rex is a blowhard who knows nothing about the NFL and who routinely sticks his foot in his mouth (couldn't resist)
  13. Lies LIES - it just, it just, has to be! I know TBD is in a state of depression, but I'm already excited for next year (and I even want to win this week; my client is a Jets fan, he deserves a little pain at the hand of the Bills)
  14. Finally a thread about how we should lose this week - devistating(?) indeed!!
  15. Maybe - I'm assuming sales of Donte Whitner jerseys at the Ralph are directly correlated to sales of beer. There's just no other explanation... I'm with the poster that's disappointed by the couples need to sue anyone they think might be able to get them a payday. This seems like a problem with the two drunken fans, not the Bengals. If anything the Bengals would only screw up serving the beer! Also, Oakley doesn't even make $700 - BUSTED!
  16. Yes, Tom Brady is over the hill - he just broke the NFL record for passes without a pick. He's thrown 34 TDs and 4 picks this year. As much as I love Fitz and his Magic Beard, I think I'd take my chances with the "over the hiill" Brady...
  17. Doesn't this happen all the time in football? A player reaches a milestone and it's announced so the fans at least know about it. It's not propaganda, it's just stating facts... Also, if not when fans are in the stadium for the last game of the year, when IS the time and place for the announcement? Today? I guess if it were loud enough Hammer could report the PA announcement to us. o_O
  18. As a Bills fan up in Vermont I appreciate their coverage - definitely a bit of home. As for the coverage, I've heard them call out coaches, players and even the front office. What I like about the coverage is that when Fitz throws a stinker like today, they'll call it out, but not act as if it's the end of the Bills as we know them. Might be just me, but I like a little good with the bad, even when the plane is a about to crash into the mountain...
  19. They always seems to do a good, objective job with both shows. If we lose, they examine why rather than calling for everyone to be fired or cut. Not quite like the sky is falling mentality that seems to rule the messageboards (regardless of outcome). Just curious if I'm the only one out there that likes / appreciates their coverage...
  20. Can't argue with that - especially since my client / friend is a big Jets fan! Note to Chan - when your RB is killing 'em on the ground, keep POUNDING!
  21. I tend to dress as characters that wear comfy clothing and that drink a lot. Hunter S Thompson is another classic - you can get ripping ripped and it's all just "part of the costume"
  22. It was, but meh - a 3 win team against the best team in the league with one of the best QBs ever? Sadly, it could have been worse. Still the number of mistakes was just pain awful. Why we didn't just keep running the ball will forever be a freaking mystery! Please, please, please DRAFT D next year!!! Can we at least get some bonus coverage of the Jest / Bears game!?
  23. Indeed - Halloween a couple years ago. Fun fact, I paid $50 for the robe at TJ Maxx, then returned it the next day for a full refund.
  24. Holy sh*tbangers - THAT was bad!
