  1. I would also throw in "F Miami" - wisdom from a classic T-shirt. Is it Sunday yet? #letsgobuffalo
  2. Nice - they shoulda gone with a full 80's metal style, but still fun... While we're posting Bills songs, you know Stevie Styles needs to be in the thread! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvyQFvS22y0
  3. Scott are there a lot of people in already? Meh, we'll bring some more chicken regardless - need anything else? A side dish or something?
  4. Oh yeah, I'm not saying I don't Cushing didn't take 'roids, sure looks like he did to me, but that wasn't what he was suspended for. My "end of story" comment, was directed toward Nelson, not Cush
  5. I hope to see: - Several TBD posters - Cold Miller High Lifes / delicious hot food - A Bills WIN! - Sportswriters eating crow and of course, - Boobs Just sayin'...
  6. Or they start 3-1 or 4-0 or 2-2. Bottom line, your prediction is a GUESS - I just don't get the "odds are" comment, odds based on what? Pre-season? Then 0-4 seems pretty unlikely. Sports writers opinions? Like the really know what's going on up in Buffalo. Last season? Irrelevant. Can't we at least see a live game or two before saying odds are they're going 0-4?
  7. I don't think Cushing was ever found "guilty" of taking steroids - just testing positive for an agent that supposedly masks 'roids. And that's the reason that teams don't typically release information on suspensions, 1. it gives the NFL's legal arm more on the record evidence, 2. fans will spin it into (potentially) something that it's not. He took something wrong, he's out for 4 games, end of story.
  8. I have one, but it's attached to my beard - does that still count? #letsgobuffalo
  9. I got TWO for this party! Of course neither will fit the 30 rack of High Life that I have - but I bet we can take care of that...
  10. I've got TWO for this trip - both small and easy to lock up though
  11. PARTY! PARTY! PARTY! Lot. Please. Hammer I love that roll call is 8am, make my innards smile...
  12. Dr. Rosenrose and Scotty, can you add a couple more to the tailgate? Looks like I'm in - I'm nearby, I have a hotel in Buffalo Sat and Sun night, now all I need are a couple tickets No worries though, hopefully my corporate sponsor will come through on Tuesday! Definitely looking forward to seeing the TBD crew once again...
  13. They need to expand the fan base so that companies across the boarder view the Buffalo Bills as a legit advertising opportunity. They don't really need more "fans" (though I'm sure with the flight from the area we could argue they do), but they do need more corporate dollars... In the end this was just supposed to be a fun thread, a "what if". Funny to see tempers flair. Truth be told I love the Ralph and I'm fine with going to games in OP (it's even closer to Bradford and no move is going to make the stadium closer to Vermont). But I would also be open to a downtown or NF stadium - like someone said earlier, hearing and seeing the falls in the background would be sick! Can it happen? Doesn't really matter for a theoretical thread, IMO.
  14. Funny they were just talking about Vlad on Sirius - they said if he doesn't improve big time and soon that Sanchez is going to get killed this year!
  15. Oh, yeah, there's that too. Those bridges over Grand Island are a freaking mess - guess we'll need to fix that before NF grows...
  16. I say put it on Goat Island! I haven't been to NF in probably 8 years, but I was on the American side last year and was pretty surprised to see the growth on the Canadian side. Clearly there's potential for tourism in the area - but I doubt the WNY government will get it together to grow the area... I'd go for a stadium in the falls, but the whole US side needs a revamp.
  17. I'm about to jump in - seems exciting to watch a game where we actually look decent. On O at least...
  18. Second best in the league behind the Jests according to an NFLN graphic I saw last night...
  19. Totally agree - it's so funny that all of the prognosticators nationwide feel that the Jets are set at the QB position. Sanchez was good at points last year, but also downright terrible at times last year - if you saw the Hard Knocks thread, you know I think he seems pretty immature and unfocused this year. Guess we shall see. I get that he's young and was a high draft pick, but let's not put him in the "established" column just yet...
  20. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/13815243/bills-camp-report-chan-the-man-that-can-help-qb-edwards-needs Nice article, I loved this quote from Whitner: "Because of the coaching staff," said safety Donte Whitner. "I don't mean to knock anybody, but I know with some of the things we did in the past some of the teams would look at us and guys would say, 'We don't understand what you guys are doing.' We sort of had our own ways of doing things, which were unique to the National Football League. "Guys would say, 'You come out and play hard, but no adjustments? We knew you would do this and do that.' [The difference is] having a coaching staff that knows we have to make adjustments." Couldn't agree more!!
  21. It's a little tough to say, because you don't see what they edit out (and they can make a story line look like whatever they want)... That said, Sanchez seems pretty immature - not really paying attention, screwing around, in fact the entire team (or scene) doesn't seem overly disciplined. It'll definitely be interesting to see what happens to Sanchez and crew as the season goes on.
