  1. Hardly, I'm more of a "let it play out" kinda guy, rather than a pitchfork guy. Also, call me when ANY NFL team has only 2 - 4 really tough games on their schedule... And what if the new coach is BETTER than Marrone? Then we've all panicked for nothing Regarding the car, the last thing I do is worry that I'm going to get in an accident before I even get in the car! If one happens, I'll deal. Who was giving him guff for a winning season? By all accounts he tried to force Pegula into an extension, when he didn't get it Dougie took his ball and went home. So be it. He didn't leave because he was "taking crap for morons", but all accounts he was the moron giving everyone crap! I was not against Marrone being here next year, but he's not, so now I'll root for the next man up. And how's that getting a job elsewhere playing out for him?
  2. Noooope, I only worry about real things...
  3. It's the Bickering Bills all over! Or more like the "Bickering Bills' Ex-Coach's Ex-Coaches".
  4. I'm pretty sure the Oakland fans agree: http://www.bringbackhuejackson.com/ Why is this guy not signed yet? Buddy is asleep over his head on this one!
  5. Nope, we're only going to have 1 QB on the roster next year - it's EJ or Bust!
  6. Whaley said he wants the coach to "continue to develop Manuel", no where does that say "Whaley is telling candidates that they most ONLY work with EJ Manuel". TBD, making mountains out of molehills since 1992...
  7. If I were that kid I would have only played for weed, not money...
  8. Let me help with the following explanation:  o_O
  9. Waste of time? Heck I interviewed like 10 people for an Associate position last year. If I were interviewing guys for my multi-million dollar Head Coach position I'm pretty sure I would interview as many quality candidates as possible! And even if they don't have knowledge of our roster or team, they do have different philosophies that would be interesting to hear, when you're asking about OC / DC positions you might hear the same name pop up several times (which is probably saying something about that guy), they might give you an outside perspective of the Bills organization as a whole, plus just the "industry contacts" they're making show this is time well spent!
  10. Here are about 14 pages discussing this: http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/175113-caruccis-update-on-coaching-search/ Just to save you the time of making arguments
  11. Based on what? Not sure it's a shocker that the GM wants the new coach to try and develop the QB they drafted in the first round two years ago! I'd still be surprised if we don't see at least a couple more guys in here (vet and a rook)...
  12. The latest on a few more names they're going to interview this week: http://bills.buffalonews.com/2015/01/06/bills-interview-least-4-coach-candidates-end-week/ Surprised there's not 5 threads freaking on the "developing Manuel" line...
  13. I was going to add "cue Mojo", buuuuuut...
  14. Yup, one of our our best run defenders (and all around Defensive players this year) goes out and we can't stop the run. Must be the coach...
  15. All I know for sure is that If it's not the Bills, then our new owners are in over their heads and moving WAY too slow and if it is the Bills our new owners are jumping in WAY too fast and are incompetent. Mark it down now...
  16. They should be in Indy RIGHT NOW interviewing Hue at halftime! What's wrong with these people!?!
  17. They're all over this at the Buffalo News: My only question is what the hell is on the hard drive the guy dropped into Terry's bag!?!
  18. Hue for me, though I can live w Schwartz depending on who he brings in to run the O...
  19. “He is the definition of average,” said a Buffalo source. - now THERE'S a quote for ya
  20. I like the resume: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hue_Jackson His O, with Schwartz's D could be nice...
  21. True and he admitted as much, he definitely wasn't speaking as an "insider". I think just a combo of his perspective on the situation (watching from Cleveland) and what he's been hearing since back in Buffalo. Good guy, glad he's back covering the Bills - especially because he's on Sirius all the time and always talks Bills
  22. Well, boom, there you go - gracias BTW, Whaley has the worst Wiki page ever: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doug_Whaley
  23. Just that it was a reach, certainly not a sure thing. If it works, they look great, if not they're most likely out of a job, so swing for the fences... Pretty interesting day, lots of talk about coach's power grabs over GMs.
