Down Ballot Democrats Nervous About Sanders

Getting the age wrong doesn't invalidate the rest. Please point me to Bernie's work accomplishments where he earned a paycheck or was responsible for signing a paycheck. -

There are also stories of him getting kicked out of a hippie commune because he refused to do any work. Yet, this is the man to run the global economy. -
India has always been the land of potential. Yet they always seem to squander it. They could give China a good run for the money, if they ever got their act together. But millennia of cultural & religious warfare stops it.

Safety Kyle Drugger With Bills First Round Pick?
GG replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fairburn admitted to it on the podcast. He mocked Dugger for Bills in the 1st round, but acknowledged that the ideal situation would be for Bills to trade down and select Dugger later. Fairburn's mindset is that Bills are looking OT in the first round, and with the best players gone by 22, he's picking BPA. He didn't reach for a WR at #22 because he didn't think there would be a huge drop off between #22 and #56 in terms of WR talent, and more people are starting to think that Dugger is special. -
Buffalo Bills going to let DT Jordan Phillips test free agency, per report

There should be no bad blood between the two sides. He'll earn way more than Bills are willing or should pay given his role. But he got the shot at the big contract because Bills scheme maximized his strength (and at times masked his biggest weakness) -

Then I'd be skeptical that they would sign a CB in 1st week of FA, knowing that they need to extend Tre very soon. I think they will continue to use the one-year $2 mil-$5 mill prove-it deals for decent vets instead of paying $10 mil FA rates. -
Spotrac is usually on the money. I just think they made a mistake in this case. But if the injury guarantee does count against the cap next year even if Star isn't injured, then it will hurt Bills cap.

Do you think he'd be cheaper than K Johnson? -

It would be so much better if that was a YouTube video. -
Upon further review, I think Spotrac numbers are incorrect. They're treating the $2.5 million injury guarantee as fully guaranteed salary for 2021, which would increase the dead cap next year. I don't think that's how the extension works out.
-
So essentially, Trump got Mexico to pay for the wall after all.
-
I think the note was about a post 6/1 designation which would split the $7.2 mil dead cap between 2021 and 2022. The same applies to this year's restructure, although I don't know why his dead cap went up from $7.2 to $7.7 in 2021. Best guess is that they're assuming that Bills will pay him the $1 million roster bonus in March 2021. I also don't think Spotrac is properly characterizing his guarantee for 2021 - They're counting $2.5 mil as fully guaranteed, but I believe the terms were only in case of injury. But in the end, there's no difference in the terms of the cap impact next year to cut him.
-
I don't think that your recollection of Star's dead cap is correct. Even without a restructure, his dead cap would have been at least $7.2 million after the 2020 season. The only thing the restructure did was guarantee his spot on the roster in 2020, but at a much lower cash & cap cost to the team. He'll probably take another pay-cut next offseason to stay on the team.

Dareus and Poe are FA already? What does Spotrac know that the rest of the league doesn't?

Of course ignored in the article are the $$ billions of foreign profits that were parked overseas and were brought back to the US, thanks to the new tax code. It annoys the daylights out of me that people who failed basic math are spouting off on the tax code.
