  1. can't argue with that. and that makes me more sad than the bledsoe factor. this should be about winning first and foremost. if drew is still in the game, then apparently mularkey is putting up the white flag.
  2. if there are still people out there who believe drew is still a good, capable QB, a guy that you can count on, a guy that can win the tough games and get you to the post season, please chime in. i'd like to hear your arguments. (cricket sounds)
  3. Those two pics are throws that any bench QB knows you can't make. Bledsoe leading a team is like a team trying to proceed with a boulder on its back. I'm fed up. Bledsoe is so shot as a QB, it's painful to watch. The optimism ends here
  4. we have no answers. this game is looking like every other primetime game the bills have played in the last eon. hard to watch. no holes to run through, no big plays on either side, just DBs falling down, safeties sucking up the joint, etc. etc. i will say this: There have been major, obvious holding on at least 2 big pats runs. not getting called.
  5. wake up...either the playcalling is pathetic, or drew has decided he's only going to throw to 1 person, no matter what. Or both. Betcha anything Evans has been open... We don't have an answer for their plan. Hopefully something will get stirred up...
  6. so far, the offense is calling a stupid game. if mularkey doesn't tell drew to stop staring down moulds, we're fugged. Cuz Drew certainly doesn't realize it. That throw was pathetic. NE fans are saying to themselves, I remember those.
  7. 1st quarter summary: Bills completely out strategized and out-blocked. Let's hope the 2nd quarter flips this. Drew locks onto moulds so badly...we're lucky it's not 10-0 right now.
  8. whaddya think....goalline blocker? receiver? surprise HBack?
  9. he and merril hoge are the mushmouths of sportscasting.
  10. if there's a good time to beat the pats in their house, i agree...it's NOW. I know the bills can do it. I know they're going to be confident and motivated and they'll go out and play like their hair is on fire. I just hope we don't get out schemed. The Pats are gonna give us some strange looks, formations, and plays. Some oddball will score. Run it down their throat, pitch it deep to lee over Gay's head, and hit them hard. Easy formula.
  11. FFS, or Barry Brady, or ..... I think you'd get a better response from people if you could, at long last, learn the easy art of BREVITY. as for the subject matter, good god...who cares?
  12. veddy veddy inteddestink.... might vee see heem on ze goal line, fraulein? veddy veddy inteddestink indeed....
  13. usurption? I think any effort to be offended by that is just that...an effort to be offended. Give me a break...what do you think football *is*? It's a metaphor for war and land acquisition. If you read the article, Bobby very clearly states that they're using these things as metaphors, as TRIBUTES to the REAL WORK that military men and women do in REAL battles. There's nothing inappropriate or amiss here. In fact, I'm sure most military men and women would be honored by it.
  14. if they find him not guilty, it'll just continue to prove that the judicial system is trying to operate with a refrigerator on its back. the legal machine, whose primary interest has always been self-preservation and not the law, has created so much obfuscation and confusion - and has set so many bad precendents - that our processes have been diluted beyond effectiveness, beyond repair. perfect case in point: the moronic jurors of the OJ trial, the dismissal of DNA evidence, and the fact that OJ is out buying Titleist Pro-V1s.
  15. total idiot. he won't get near him. betcha. and they'll lose big.
  16. i think it should be required viewing (as should band of brothers) for every generation. let's not be naive about what youth can "handle" on tv regarding language and violence. what makes this any different from a tarantino film that they watch on hbo when their parents are asleep?
  17. i'm itchy to see losman play. this mass media bukake all over roethlisberger's rookie mug is making me want to see our version of the next big step for the bills. Who knows, maybe by week 16 at home vs the steelers, it'll be the JP vs Ben show. Man, I hope that's still a meaningful game for us. BTW: If we beat the pats this sunday, we will absolutely CRUSH the Rams.
  18. as i said, these aren't gray's errors...the error is in the person taking dictation and putting it on the web.
  19. My favorite one is: Mentality Terrence McGee is a tough guy and that's what I like about him.
  20. Let's play the Count The Editorial Errors Game! (It's dictated, so the blame is on someone we don't know in the offices there. Come ON, people...! It's not hard work!) http://www.buffalobills.com/news/news.jsp?news_id=2916
  21. It's frustrating, no doubt. It's also why the eagles let him walk: he was injured for most of last year, and it took him forever to heal. He's no spring chicken. We need him, and the Bills are paying him a lot. He should suck it up, get an injection, and play CB or FS this Sunday night. If he's not out there, watch Reese get picked apart.
  22. Just curious where "we" stand collectively. I know our primetime performances have been horrid, but this team is confident, the pats are without two starting CBs, and if there's a time, it's now. I say the Bills get the upset of the week, possibly the month. Bills 26 Pats 16
  23. Two weeks ago, after reading that the Bills had discussed an extension with him, I thought...hey, get it done. But then i went to nflpa.org and realized he's only signed thru next season, which will make him a RFA. If he keeps doing what he's doing, we give him a one year 1st round tender, which basically makes him a millionaire. If any other team signs him, they'd have to give us their first rounder. So we're protected in that sense, and could at least get a 4th year out of him for a very good price, or a high pick.
  24. I can hear it now: Strange Brew (Dance Re-mix)
  25. cheers to donahoe for extending gray so this team can have some real continuity for a superbowl run.
