  1. 9-7, sticking to it.
  2. and dumb as cum.
  3. oh *man*...that was the ultimate bills fan tear jerker. i should have recorded that. gotta love tim russert. and jack kemp should have been president. and and...
  4. nobody is going to trade for travis with only 1 year left on his contract. travis would have to agree to a sign-and-trade deal, which sorta gives him some leverage. If he doesn't want to be a cardinal, for example, he won't sign an extension pre-trade. His value has diminished due to his performance in the first 5 games. It wasn't all his fault, with 9 man boxes and tough defenses and a line that didn't yet have a clue...but still. It's not going to be easy, and might require a package deal if we want a 1st rounder. You know, a Travis, Prileau, Kevin Thomas for a first rounder...sorta thing. Who knows...
  5. GB he has that crucial 5-letter last name Starr Favre Brees
  6. Wish: Spurrier Just not Nick Saban, please. Not Belichick's good friend. Let's not turn the AFC East into a ring of Belichick cronies mentally gang banging on the bills and jets. Nick: Stay in Nawlins.
  7. Offense: Spread them out. 3 and 4 WR sets, take advantage of their injuries in the secondary. If Earthwind "Andfire" Moreland, Randall Gay and Troy Brown are capable of shutting down our passing game, then we deserve to lose. If we don't even bother to exploit their injuries, then we'd deserve to lose and the coaches would deserve a lot of piss and vinegar in their ears. But we have great coaches. We'll force them to use these guys. Keep mixing up the tosses and the inside runs - their LBs are smart but they're not as fast as the Jets young LBs, and it worked on them. Every now and then, use exotic formations to run unexotic plays. Weather permitting, let Lee Evans streak. Again and again, until their safeties pull back to give Willis space, and Moulds is one on one. Moulds on anyone other than Law is a mismatch. Eric and Lee will come through. DEFENSE: last time we played them, we blitzed 70% of the time, and never got close to Brady. It was embarrassing. They have some injuries at the OLine, which might make it possible to hit him, but keep it below 50%. Use some zone blitzes and CB blitzes and force brady to beat our DBs outside. Hit them hard everywhere. They're playing on edge knowing there's no depth at WR anymore. Hit 'em hit 'em hit 'em. I wanna see Teddy Brusci catching passes by the 2nd quarter. Bills 23 Patriots 17 (Yup)
  8. 3-5 teams don't often receive much attention.
  9. jeezuz. he's a rookie and he'd have to crack a healthy, experienced 4 man rotation at DT. I'm glad he hasn't seen the field yet. Our DTs are doing a fantastic job.
  10. i think ed hoculi's unit is the best. what bad calls has he committed against the bills? he ain't no phil lucket.
  11. the jets chose the wind in the 2nd and 4th
  12. the ravens are one of the best drafting teams. and the worst drafting team when it comes to 2 positions: QB and WR
  13. they have troy fuggin brown starting at CB and Randall Fuggin Gay, a UFA, starting at the opposite side. And the Rams vaunted passing offense can't do a damn thing. Scheme. Martz outcoached yet again
  14. his middle name is Andfire EDIT: I swear...i didn't see the previous posts!
  15. did i fuggup by starting a duplicate 'game balls thread'? oops.
  16. best avatar i've ever seen. cracks me up.
  17. Entire OLine - GREAT performance against the best sacking DLine in the league. 2 straight games without a sack. What we're seeing is McNally's influence taking hold. Future = bright. Lee Evans: C.L.U.T.C.H. This kid is just reliable. Think we can use guys like that? Willis: 130 yards against a D playing the run first. This kid is just reliable. Etc. Jerry Gray: Pennington had 1 completion in the ENTIRE 2nd HALF. It was to Lawyer Milloy. The D gave up one big gaffe by McGee. Without that one play, we make the Jets look like the worst offense in the league. Chris Kelsay: This was his coming out party. The guy was Hansenlike at LDE. Clutch plays at key moments. Gotta like how he plays. His hair is on fire.
  18. word is he's gonna be fine, no gametime loss prognosis yet tho. probably strained his neck so badly that he felt numb in his extremeties, and that probably scared him. Or might have been knocked out.
  19. we never should have lost those 2 games. if nate plays heads up on that 4th and forever, and if the Refs didn't give the Raiders game #2, our season looks COMPLETELY different right now. Makes your knuckles white, doesn't it?
  20. Drew had all day to throw today versus the best sacking DLine in the league. This game gives me serious, deep hope for the future of this team, MIke Mularkey, the football intelligence of our coaches, Lee Evans, Willis, our DLine, Our Ends (YES, our ends), our ST (I'd like to know how many of those calls turn out to be phantom calls) This game SHOULD puff up our chests a bit. And next week we get Vincent back, and thankfully, Mike Williams is going to be okay.
  21. BF, why do you do this to yourself? WHY? Do you realize that the Jerry Gray's defensive adjustments kept them to -13 yards until TERRENCE SLIPPED? Jerry had the defense playing out of their minds today...they got all of their yards picking on Terrence, who probably isn't ready to be a #2 CB. Don't you realize that you can't react to games, people, and coaches play by play? Laughably Ludicrously Lame
  22. What can I say...I can guess with the best of 'em. As I say that, please don't look at my NFL picks site.
  23. bills 23 jets 17
  24. i think 'look for some new wrinkles' means they're gonna bring back Jack Kemp. I'd be for that.
  25. i could do that. against toddlers. or peg legged old pirates standing still saying, "arrggh" who is he?
