  1. Hope Lee gets the help he needs . Loved his potential when he was at OSU.
  2. Only a one day thing to retire as a Bill. Otherwise, no thanks.
  3. Tom Janik Butch Byrd Just scanning through and didn't see this one answered. Wray Carlton
  4. Knowing his injury situation, I was never a fan of the Kouandjio pick. Clearly, other teams passed on him. He never lived up to his press clippings at Alabama, either. As others have pointed out, the current staff has no allegiance to the roster they inherited, and will be making unbiased evaluations in creating a roster to their liking.
  5. If he fails to produce at a high level this year (for whatever reason), how would you describe his four year career in Buffalo? It was an interesting comment by Taylor re: maturity (past examples of unwise decisions have been cited on this thread). The Bills paid dearly to trade up for Watkins (not debating the wisdom here-- it has been done to death), so I think it is fair to expect elite production.
  6. Given his draft status, his productivity needs to at least match those of the pro bowl receivers taken after him in the 2014 draft. As I said before, he needs to stay on the field (injuries are a huge part of this equation, as we all know). If he doesn't have a big year, do you think he will be a Bill in 2018?
  7. Certainly not the news you want to hear. Hopefully this doesn't escalate into something more (seems to happen a lot), and affect his first year development.
  8. He is going to have to stay on the field this year and produce at a very high level to avoid the dreaded "B" word being attached to his name.
  9. Gone and forgotten (hopefully). Now just get rid of the train whistle.
  10. Coming out of school, he was expected to be more of an edge setter than a dynamic pass rusher. If he gets 6-7 sacks and plays the run well, I think that would be a good season.
  11. Makes you wonder what the situation is now with his foot. I think the Bills made the right call here. If he stays on the field and produces, he will get paid. That is a big IF.
  12. Doesn't exactly have a great arm. Best upside projection would probably be as a career backup.
  13. When you get to this point in the draft, you look at need. He is also a good returner. Not an exciting pick-- but this is what you expect late in the first round.
  14. It is tough this year-- watching my favorites being picked off, and sitting at th bottom of the round.
  15. Now an extra 3rd and the 27th overall. This draft is deep, but the top tier guys will be gone. It would have been better to get a 2nd this year.
  16. Hopefully they can maneuver next year to get one of the top QB's.
  17. This story has strange timing. I assume that if it is true, Whaley must be aware (although given the Ryan story, I am not sure). So he cannot be involved in draft decisions then, right?
