  1. Strange how in the first half, the line couldn't protect him, and the A&M offense ran all over UCLA's D. Those things, along with some lucky breaks, turned it around in the 2nd half. Oh--- and A&M lost their starting QB in the 2nd half, and couldn't move the ball with his freshman replacement.
  2. One of the sure picks was thrown right to an A&M DB, who deflected it into the hands of the receiver for a TD. It took some luck-- and some poor coaching and play by a team that was up by 34 in the 3rd quarter.
  3. That has been my mantra. Looks to be the latter, at this point.
  4. It is not about 2017. These guys have no future with the Bills, as it will be a long "process" to get wherever they are going. 2018 and '19 draft picks are all that matters.
  5. It's so obvious what is going on. I just don't understand why Taylor, McCoy and K. Williams are still on the team? And why not try to trade Hughes? None of these players will be around in the next year or two.
  6. I'm sure McDermott and Beane are always the "smartest guys in the room." It's all about the "process."
  7. And they have two fullbacks. I am not shocked-- they are taking out every Whaley draft pick. Williams looked good in preseason, and was supposed to be McCoy's backup. I don't know what they are doing (other than getting rid of Whaley's picks--- that is why Ducasse is still on the roster-- I'm surprised J. Miller hasn't been cut or traded).
  8. The "process" is another word for "rebuild." It is clear Taylor is not a franchise QB, and does not fit the McBeane mold for a QB (big pocket passer). What is the point in playing Taylor? Play the rookie and see if he develops into anything other than an NFL backup.
  9. They are newbies, so who knows how things will work out. I don't believe we will know until 2020 or '21 (whether they are saviors, or out the door). I'll "trust" them when I see a winning team on the field.
  10. He's supposed to be McCoy's primary backup, but since all of Whaley's picks are headed out, nothing would surprise me.
  11. Lacks arm strength. Not a good fit here.
  12. Clearly, the new regime is looking to 2020 or 2021 to actually field a winner-- and that is dependent on all of the draft picks they are accumulating for 2018 and '19. They need to really hit on those picks. If they fail, they'll be gone, and a new rebuild will take place. Not sure why Taylor, McCoy, K. Williams are on this team. Dismantling and trying to win at the same time seems like an odd approach. It must be the "process" that we keep hearing about. I'm not confident, but what can the fans do? Ride it out and hope for the best.
  13. Much-deserved and long overdue.
  14. 2019? Part of the process, I guess. Long, slow rebuild.
  15. That's pretty much what the Bills have been doing the last 17 years. Where has it gotten them? Either contend, or bottom out--- no more mediocrity.
  16. Ugly game (even before, with the Dareus news).Big question will be about Taylor's health. Of course, the O-Line is a huge problem, as well.. Regardless, much work to be done in the next two weeks (or this season will be worse than I had thought).
  17. I don't know what your issue is with me, but you are now misrepresenting my post. There was no laughing at Peterman--- that was a reference to some on the boards who were comparing him to Brady. My little attempt at humor clearly went over your head.
  18. Thing is , how do you cut Yates with Taylor injured (could pick up someone else, I suppose)?
  19. Strange response, wasn't it? "LOL" is not exactly anything new.
  20. Not sure what that means. Are you here to annoy people, or comment on Bills' play?
  21. Red, white and blue-- likely before you were born.
  22. Yeah, maybe. Still, another deflection.
  23. Peterman with a terrible pass to Jones, and then another deflection. Might not be Bills' answer to Brady yet. LOL
  24. Nice drive-- Peterman showing pocket awareness and decisive, quick passes.
