Murphy and Brown are the two ultimate Bills' shills. Whaley and his failure to address QB, and his lousy draft history.? LOL Not to mention his terrible contract signings (i.e., Dareus), that always put Team Mediocrity up against the salary cap.

I thought all along that the Bills would need two safeties. AW was never a top tier guy-- and with the injuries, not worth the gamble.

My plan would be to try to trade back in the first (need a partner, of course) for additional picks. Take Mahomes, and then address DB and WR (draft is extremely deep at db). Get an extra 2nd, draft Godwin, and the top available safety.

Taylor is the best option for this year-- unfortunately, this just perpetuates mediocrity. Hopefully, the plan is to continue the search for a franchise guy both in this year's draft (somehow get Mahomes?), and down the road. Certainly lessens the odds of finding "the guy" next year, as the record will likely be just good enough to miss the top guys (looks like the "tank for Darnold" idea is dead in the water).

I really like Godwin-- if the Bills don't get a receiver in the 1st. Glad to see they are covering bases with the top QB's (I don't care for Kizer).

Meyer just thought he needed work vs. the run--- which is true. His strength is getting an inside push. I expect better things this year with McDermott's 4-3 (and better coaching).

Buscaglia is discussing this on twitter now. It is really not surprising-- if you listened to McDermott's press conference at the Combine. He said there was still not a decision on the QB, and that there was a "healthy" debate re: players. Everyone knows Whaley wants Taylor gone-- so it is easy to infer that McDermott wants to keep him. And seeing Brandon's name (along with Overdorf) mentioned in player discussions is sickening (if true). Bottom line is as it was before-- the Bills needed to clean house. Ryan was only the tip of the iceberg named "Dysfunction"--- aka, Buffalo Bills.

Only if they're looking at him to compete with Jones for backup.

Not new here, but did most of my posting on the Bills' Board. Very disappointing-- especially the suddenness. Really amateurish move on their part.

Taylor is very limited. He is ineffective unless he is using his legs and throwing deep. Otherwise, erratic and ineffective.

If there is any truth to this, I don't see Whaley sticking around with a lesser role. Sounds like they would be pushing him out.

He was most noticeable when in attack mode and getting to the QB. His job in the present scheme is to tie up a double team and allow LB's to make plays. Problem is, Bills LB's have proven less than adequate.

Hackenberg could go, as well. Someone will think they can develop him.

You need a QB who can run and make good, fast decisions.

They should try to trade back into the first round, even if they have to use Watkins (he is useless to the Bills right now, anyway).

So I guess the Lions showed everything (while sitting all of their key starters)? I bet they are feeling foolish right about now.
