  1. and running out of the endzone is a safety. Doh. We'll take cheapo sacks if it means Vick is contained.
  2. Not sure if that is this year or for his career. I think we will get a lot of pressure on him if he plays and if London Fletcher is in the game and healthy. I believe we need his speed to help contain Vick. Doesn't seem like we're getting too much respect down here.
  3. Like I said, I meant no offense by my question. I wondered if he was a contributing member of the team or someone they put in so that he can say he played. If he is intead a weekly player, that just adds to how impressed I am by this story.
  4. Do it! So, did you make the trade?
  5. Without Fletcher I'm affraid it is Vick who will have a field day if he is healthy. Might be wishful thinking but I'm thinking that we will be able to shut down Atlanta's run and force them to try and beat us in the air.
  6. I hate playing anyone who is going against the Bills because I refuse to cheer for them, so I would play Dillon and Brown. If playing a Buffalo opponent doesn't bother you, I would start Dunn and Dillon. Don't be fooled by last week, this defense can and will shut down the run.
  7. Is he actually a good player? Is here in there as a side show or can he really play? I don't mean any offense with this question, just curious.
  8. Here here. I had a conversation with some fans at the Tampa game who were from various parts of Florida and the Southeast. Bills fans seldom change allegences when they leave Buffalo. We continue to cheer for the Bills, even if the new "home" team has a better team or season than us. True Bills fans are fans for life, even when the going gets tough. Go Bills
  9. Man, I hope Fletcher is ready to go this week. We need him against Vick. His speed is a big key.
  10. damn, I missed it. I could use some comic relief today...
  11. I'm still at depression but I feel acceptance coming soon.
  12. I heard on the radio this morning that it was an ankle injury and didn't seem to be major.
  13. I agree they were not too loud but that may have been the heat. The tailgate was definitely the "wine and cheese" crowd, not the burgers and beer crowd that we have in Buffalo. When I walked around the parking lots, the Bills fans were generally rowdier and more fun to hang around than the Bucs fans.
  14. I flew down from Atlanta, paid $250 for my ticket, spent way too much money while in Tampa but had fun all-in-all. $60 would have been a bargain.
  15. I know that is stating the obvious but damn the heat was oppressive. My buddy, who lives in Tampa, had to go sit in the air conditioned bar most of the second half. I've been to hot games in Miami and Jacksonville and this was by far the worst. The Tampa fans were pretty cool, they didn't abuse me too badly after the game even though I cheered loudly for the Bills until the bitter end. All in all, not a good day.
  16. We'll make some noise! At the appropriate times of course.
  17. That's funny. I lived on Norwalk in college and that is my top 3 as well.
  18. Looks like he might have ended his career with an ejection. Bummer. Very Tasker like but at least Tasker got in the game.
  19. For me it will always be Bocce's
  20. No, of course not... it's Two Dills Brive.
  21. Umm, I disagree. They would not have won this game if Antonio Gates would have been playing. Don't believe the hype. They go 8-8 even with the easy schedule. We know what happens to Drew when the going gets tough. Expect a meltdown.
  22. Check out this thread, it's pretty good. It's the one I posted above with the ensuing responses. http://bbs.buccaneers.com/showthread.php?t=100246
  23. This post isn't too bad though: (posted by Bills fan) Bills Vs Bucs... How do the teams stack up? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Have at it sailors..... QB: TB, Don't get me wrong, Greise isn't good, but Losman is facing his first REAL D. RB: BUF, Willis is an elite back, i like Caddy but we stuff ALL RB's WR: BUF, Emo, Sweetlee 83, are better.... Clayton is good, but he and Evans fought it out for best rookie last year... do you like yards or TD's? Moulds is way better than Galloway. OL: Push, don't know much about yours, ours played well week 1, I don't like Walker, or TE Push, no dominant TE in the game... although your rook played well, I'm not sold yet...but I'm leaning TB DL Push, Rice is a force, Schoebl and Kelsay as a group I like better. Our interior is better, Havan is crap, Macfarland ....crap LB: BUF, Spikes, Fletch vs Quarles and Brooks would be a push, Posey is better than Nece... Bills have faster LBs. DB: BUF, Barber is good, but not Nate Clements good, McGee and Kelly are a wash... our interior, Milloy and Vincent, have about 25 years ex, about 10 probowls, and probably about 30 INT's between them.... They make the difference ST: BUF, we had the best special teams in football last year, you still haven't returned a kickoff for a TD... don't start Sunday P: Push, Moorman is one of the leagues best, biudwell not bad either... home field makes this a push K: TB, five for five, smive for smive...I hate Lindell. There you have it, we are the better team. Prove me wrong.
  24. The one guy said Cadillac Williams would put up 135 yards and 2 TD's and that clown agreed. Way to support your team there buddy.
  25. I hate to cheer against a young player like Arrington, but after Green was flappin' his lips about not needing Henry because he got a stud in the draft etc. etc. I am going to enjoy their crappy season a bit more than usual.
