  1. The only throat I ever ruined was my ex-wife. 50656[/snapback] OJ is that you?
  2. I'm pretty sure he has said he will not be available.
  3. Ha! Good one. I do agree that we got screwed last week but then again, so did Washington last night so it's equal opportunity.
  4. In hindsight, who would have thought we would have beaten them so handily in the first game last year? They were the about to become SuperBowl Champs and had a much better team than us and yet we won the game. You just never know. If we get our running game going and the Defense/Special Teams steps up... we could just as easily win as lose. I am hoping/cheering for the W.
  5. Not sure if they're still around but there was a great band called the Party Squad that I used to love when I lived in Tonawanda. If they still exsist, book 'em they rock.
  6. I live in Atlanta and I can tell you they do not like Peerless at all down here right now. On the sports talk radio shows everyone is calling in saying he is over-paid, a whiner, not a team player, etc... They are 3-0 and Peerless is causing trouble in the locker room because he feels they are not using him properly. Definitely all about him. I've also heard that there was an interception on a ball thrown his way, he did not help defend the pass and instead of trying to chase down the defender who caught it, he turned and glared at Vick. Not sure if that is true but all I know is, I hope Evans helps us move on and forget Peerless very soon.
  7. Buffalo, 17-10. The Dolphins run D is a bit suspect this year. Travis Henry will put up 120 yards rushing and a TD.
  8. I'll be sitting in the Jim Kelly club seats for the Miami game and I have never sat there before. Can anyone tell me how they are? Is the view ok? Do you feel like your part of the game experience or are you removed from the action. Any feedback is appreciated.
  9. Man, I can't tell you how many times I thought the same thing the past 2 weeks. I am convinced that a mobile QB would make this line look much better. I would much rather take a shot at handing the ball to a rookie with tons of upside than face each week holding my breath everytime Bledsoe stands in the collapsing pocket looking like a deer caught in the headlights. I don't think Matthews is the answer but if Losman was healthy....
  10. They only showed the replay once on tv and it was without sound so you couldn't tell when the whistle was blown. His run stalled and then he reached out with the ball and extended it over the line but it was after his forward progress had stopped. I don't know if the refs blew the whistle or not but maybe they id and Mularkey knew it. But I am telling you, the ball crossed the line and the 2 holding calls on the kick returns were b.s. Especially the one on Clements punt return. And the hold in the endzone should have been a safety. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
  11. I guess I'm the only one that agrees with you ARG. We made some mistakes and haven't had any kind of consistency or swagger yet, but it is early in the Mularkey regime. I believe we will work things out, I just hope it is before this season is completely lost. Not too many looking at the positives this morning, but if it weren't for a few bad calls by the officials and/or Travis missing a touchdown by 6 inches (or did he?) we win. I'll hold off and have faith that we can still turn this ship around.
  12. I will not go so far as to say the outcome was fixed, but truth be told, we played well enough to win this game. I know this board is mostly gloom and doom today but all is not lost. The officials were a big factor in this loss. Without the blown calls mentioned above this is a win...an ugly win, but a win none the less.
  13. B) I did see the tackle from behind. You're right, I was sreaming at the tv on that play. (for your information, it did not respond.) B)
  14. Although the lineman started the block on the one yard line, it is my opinion (albeit a biased one) that the block did not turn into a hold until they were in the endzone. Splitting hairs but I still feel like we got screwed.
  15. Oh yeah, and that holding call in the endzone should have been a safety.
  16. I say yes. I think Losman would breathe some new life in this offense. His scrambling would make the o-line look a little better. He may actually take a few shots down field as well, his legs would buy him some time. JP is much better at throwing on the run than Drew ever was. I don't think we'll pull Drew for Matthews, but if Losman was healthy.....
  17. Look, I know our offense sucked yesterday and we did almost everything we could to lose that game, but we did get screwed by the officiating as well. Two great returns by special teams called back for holding, at least one of the calls was very questionable and behind the play. Even the announcers couldn't find the holding on the Clements run back after watching the replays. If anything, it was Mario Haggan before the ball was even punted. Also, Travis Henry crossed the goaline with the ball on that 4th and goal run, although it may have been after the whistle. I couldn't tell from the replay. Don't mean to sound like a whiner, we could have done more to win this game, but we definitely had to work extra hard to overcome the 12th man. (the zebra)
  18. We will finish the season 10-6 and make the play-off's! I can't believe how many "fans" jump off the ship after one game that we lost in the final second. Get a grip. You may call it being a realist but I call it not supporting your team. Have faith in Mularky. Have faith in the new offense. We will beat the Raiders, who by the way, call their team the "best in the universe" in spite of a bad season and a bad start to this one. Be a fan, suspend reality.... Go Bills!!!!
  19. You're wrong. We win the game, 10-6 on the year, Donahoe is safe, Drew will be replaced by Losman at some point next year. B)
  20. I love the last post in the thread. It looks like one of our fans registered and voiced his opinion. Big Dog Rookie Joined: 17 Sep 2004 Posts: 3 Posted: Fri Sep 17, 2004 4:21 pm -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bills 30, Raiders 7 We can't hang with their D and Lee Evans is going to be thrown to more which will mess with the secondary and open up Moulds for TD's. I'm thinking at least 2. I do love JossJeff's avatar too though.
  21. I agree. We are usually a pretty knowledgeable crowd, but doing the wave when we have the ball is just plain ignorant. Some fans are more into the stadium experience than the football game. Bad form.
