  1. I agree, I like their wings cause they're crispy. The best cheap wings used to be a place in Tonawanda called the Raintree, had 5 cent wings. Are they still there?
  2. I thought the same thing. Seemed like she might still be alive. Vest?
  3. Who is Cody Pickett? Is he even in the NFL? The article makes him sound like a top QB prospect.
  4. I agree with your reasoning but I have this nagging feeling that Jennings is going to be offered much more than he is worth in the open market. He has a connection to Atlanta (UGA) and I would not be surprised to see King Arthur over-pay for another Bill. I just hope we get something in return if we lose him. I hope Pat Williams gets re-signed soon.
  5. I have not heard any speculation yet about the Bills tagging one of out FA's yet. TD seems to have made good use of the tags in the past ala Peerless Price so I wouldn't be surprised. Jennings maybe?
  6. I can't even begin to list all of the food I miss from Buffalo. good wings pizza good sub sandwiches Ted's hotdogs bisons chip dip fish fry's Mighty Taco good donuts (can't understand why Krispy Kreme is popular there.) Andersons Watsons sponge candy Damn I'm making myself hungy. No wonder I gain weight whenever I go home to visit.
  7. You've obviously never heard a Don Criqui commentary. That is one of his many mis-nomers that he has labled on Bills players this year.
  8. Don't you dare watch this game, we need all superstitions in tact. Mine is that my wife, kids and myself be decked out in Bills gear all day on Sunday. We lost when I decided not to make the kids wear their Bills shirts, etc... I bought everyone lots of Bills gear to make it through this week and maybe even beyond...
  9. Congrats Atlanta, welcome to salary cap hell. I believe I heard it would be a $40 million signing bonus.
  10. You mean like going out and buying milk, bread, water and beer before a blizzard?
  11. My point is not that we have one of the best offenses in the league, it is that this year, they are getting some points on the board and not wasting the efforts of the D/ST. That is worth cheering for.
  12. I'm comparing them to the offense that couldn't score anything but field goals last year, so yes, much better. I'm cool with 100 yards passing if we keep getting the ball in the endzone. Normally, I would be nervous when Evans gets tackled on the 10 yard line on a 60 yard flea flicker because I had no confidence that we could punch it in. This year, it seems like we're finding ways to get the 6 points, passing and running.
  13. That's a good point, damn that made me mad. However, the offense has been playing much better lately, let's just keep our fingers crossed that it holds up.
  14. Yeah, but he did make the NFL's most over-rated team? Do they get to go to Hawaii too?
  15. That's a contradiction. Winning with extraordinary special teams and and defense is not smoke and mirrors. In the past several years Tampa, Baltimore and Carolina have used that appoach to advance to and in some cases, win, the Superbowl. Just because our offense is not the best unit on the team does not mean the team is a fluke.
  16. Does that mean he's getting a lot of mileage on him?
  17. Very well said. Bossman, I disagee with your statement that Bledsoe sucks. I was nervous about him earlier in the year as were many fans, but I am now convinced that he is the best option at QB for the remainder of the year. He has displayed better pocket presence over the past 8 weeks or so and is obviously more confident in the line. He has scrambled for positive yardage several times instead of taking sacks and seems to have remembered how to get rid of the ball when needed. Mularkey has figured out how to run the offense to set up strikes downfield and Bledsoe is taking advantage of these oppotunities with accurate passes to Evans and Moulds even when he is under pressure. This is the most I have enjoyed watching our team play in several years and therefore I plan to enjoy the holidays watching my team make a run for the play-offs.
  18. I agree, so far I love the guy. Seems like he tries to work with the personnel that he has available. Now Gilbride... he was pass happy.
  19. I was just chatting with a few of them and they said that they never liked his "pass happy" style, they said he tried to change their smash mouth attack and that they're happy he's gone. I knew they didn't like their offense last year, but I thought they liked him.
  20. I'm in. I'm starting to think that might be the way we get in too.
