  1. Sorry, that was trade marked by the Pats*. Oops, can you say jinx? My one word is, Tailgate.
  2. I agree with that. The Vikings put in Gus Ferotte and got a win. Some teams are motivated by changes like this. Of course, the rest of the Vikings team is way batter than the Rams but still, you never know...
  3. By the way Steely D, I love the weekly Avatar change. I hope you will have one for each of our opponents this season.
  4. He said it conversationally, not as though it was some kind of stretch or big statement. He was talking about how difficult it will be for the Pats* this season and how they got worse while other teams got better.
  5. That's supposed to depress us? Just makes me happy things are looking up for the Bills. True fans always stick with their team and hope for a win. Go Bills!
  6. Quint, are you trying to get your post count up? Why would you lol at a few smileys?
  7. If the Browns thought he was a one hit wonder, why did they give him the big deal. I was pretty sure they were playing over their heads a bit last year. If Lewis doesn't get better they will suck no matter who their QB is.
  8. If Quinn looked better in preseason he would be in there already. I don't think they have a lot of confidence in him right now.
  9. Exactly. You have to remember that the kind of veteran receivers you would get this time of the year would hurt the team chemistry, not help it. ie Moulds, Joe Horn etc... We have enough veteran leadership right now and our receivers are doing just fine. Another "veteran" target would just hurt the development of Hardy.
  10. My real point was that we faced the same offense that was supposedly so perplexing and handled it relatively well. The big play that the Raiders had was not the same play. No one in the media has mentioned that Oakland used this against the Bills.
  11. What bar do you guys go to now? I haven't been in a few years.
  12. We'll teach him for maybe being hurt, IR for the year!
  13. by a college style offense and it won't happen again. We had the exact same offense run against us this week and it was by a player who excelled at it in college. McFadden was very good at the Wild Hog offense at Arkansas. However, we adjusted to it very well and it was not even close to effective against our D. Ronnie Brown and the Dolphins learned it from another player on the team from Arkansas but seemed as though they have been running it for years. Hats off to the Buffalo D for being smarter than Belichek.
  14. I thought he looked hurt after he made that nice catch/run but he seemed to play through it. He looked pissed to be getting the ball, he clearly doesn't like it. Also, I was mad at Shouman when he was filling in and dropped that screen pass.
  15. I was so used to seeing it and it was always kind of distracting. Odd to see him without it.
  16. I didn't want to start a new thread for this but man, Jamarcus Russell has a freakin rocket arm doesn't he? He was flipping the ball 30 yards plus down field with a flick of his wrist. Amazing that they don't throw the ball more. I actually believe this could be a decent team if they get some better coaching. The defense is pretty solid (although I dislike Dangelo Hall quite a bit) and they have plenty of offensive weapons. They could finish with 7-8 wins this year if they get it together.
  17. He was out there at times and dropped a catchable pass at one point, I believe it was in the 4th quarter. I am sure he will be used more once he and Trent get their timing down. Roscoe and Reed played well down the stretch though, which probably kept him off the field. Rookie receivers are often very inconsistant but I do hope he becomes a more reliable weapon as the season progresses.
  18. That's funny. They're all predicting a Rams loss.
  19. So Russell, when are you going to change into RAMFAN08, or something along those lines? No way a real troll will show up here.
