  1. I don't need 3 reasons, just 3 words. "Anyone but Patriots*".
  2. Good lord no. No more "discretionary" calls to be used against us and in favor of the Pats*. I do admit that it is annoying when a team takes a Hail Mary, low percentage shot down the field and get great field position due to PI, but too many teams would exploit a 15 yard penalty and the officials can't be trusted to differentiate between the 2 different types.
  3. I watched him play against UCLA this year and he definitely looked impressive in that game. I kept trying to figure out why he ws so far behind Rosen even though they both had great games that day. I think Ferguson will be a pro QB at some point but his game will need quite a bit of work before a team is willing to hand him the reigns.
  4. This thread was made worse by the fact it was right over the “building a winning team with high character players” thread. i am guessing Cam wouldn’t fit in with the type of players we are currently trying to build around.
  5. I don't know how any Bills fan could cheer for the Patriots* to be honest with you. They could be playing against a team of convicted serial killers and I would still cheer for the other team. Anyone but the Patriots* will stand until this era is no more and probably beyond that.
  6. so did you mean Keenum was the great QB?
  7. I could see a new thread if you had some kind of new perspective to share, but for a question? To answer: I am sure it was because he and McDermott share some kind of similar philosophy about how the offense should be run and McD and Beane trust him to execute on that shared vision.
  8. I like that this isn’t another re-tread coordinator who’s tried and failed in the NFL. Might be great to get a new perspective
  9. Learned under Saban and Belicheck? I like the pedigree.
  10. Yes, he is having surgery on a healthy shoulder just to trick us into thinking he didn’t just have a bad year. ?
  11. Is she the one who keeps posting penis pictures or is that you?
  12. I get the sentiment, but I’m think it is good for an organization to show they are willing to let people advance their careers when opportunities arise. Talented personnel will be less likely to come here if they feel we are hesitant to allow them to advance their careers outside of the organization. It sucks to lose him but this may also help us recruit other front office talent in the future.
  13. I'm a bit surprised you can do that. Seems like an unfair advantage.
  14. Fair enough ricko. We certainly all hope that you are correct and we can become true rivals for the division again soon. Well, I hope we dominate you, but you know what I mean.
  15. No McCoy, no credit. lots of people predicted the Dennison firing.
  16. No curtain call until McCoy is announced (and possibly Tice) IF that happens, I will give you credit for a great call. Anyone could have called this firing (and others did) but if you get the firing, the timing and the hire correct, take a bow.
  17. Not directed at you, but in general, I do not believe there will be a single OC hire that everyone will be on board with. I have heard negative comments on all of the potential candidates.
  18. Run game not withstanding, I have heard (but have not verified) that our offense produced one second half touchdown in the last 7 games of the season, and that was Kyle's run. If that is true, and is not considered grounds for dismissal of the OC, I don't know what is.
  19. He is comparing it to what they produced the year before and what their overall potential was to start the season. Not to the rest of the league. That wouldn’t give a fair assessment of his production with this unit.
  20. Fyi, that was not why he closed the thread. But I do like that he re-opened it to let DD know he could tell he was misrepresenting where he was.
  21. Welcome to the "off-season".
  22. Don't know anything about him. Good offensive mind? Hopefully this means he's getting better: Under Daboll the Browns had the NFL's 32nd ranked offense in 2009[1] and the 29th ranked offense in 2010.[2] Daboll was named Offensive Coordinator of the Miami Dolphins under Tony Sparano in 2011, with his Dolphins improving from 30th in the league to 20th in overall offense
  23. I agree with this.
  24. I LOVE the fact that this leadership team is constantly trying to get better. Rather than accepting things for what they are, they are constantly tweaking and fine tuning. (such as trades, practice squad moves etc.) Can't wait to see what they do next!
