Frank Gore never contemplated retirement
C.Biscuit97 replied to WhoTom's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Gotta see how the season goes. Gore is at that age where he could break down after 4 games. And if people wanted to pay me millions and I was healthy, I’d keep playing too. Gore’s career is so funny. He’s not a HOF but he is going to have amazing career numbers. He also used to get hurt all the team and now he never does. It’s so strange but awesome for him. -
Welcome to Buffalo, Maddy Glab!

Everyone but a few people would stop posting. So easy to take shots at people when no one knows what you look like. Bunch of Brad Pitts here I tell you! -
I means it goes both ways too. Peterman looks good, I think he can be a nfl starting QBs!!! its the good and bad about media and fans watching practice. All of this stuff is pretty meaningless until the regular season. Practice is for making mistakes, trying different lineups, implementing gameplans. Everything reported should be taken with a grain of salt. You just hope to come out of preseason with as few injuries as possible.

I believe there is a plan to extend the subway (I know people from WNy who didn’t even know BuffAlo had a subway!) to extend to AMHERST. So if you build the stadium in the Perry projects and then build another stop there, that could help with some of the traffic. I love the Ralph and OP. But it’s a matter of time before we have a downtown stadium.

Mitch Morse in concussion protocol
C.Biscuit97 replied to *******'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Generally agree. However, any concussion is a concern. Given Morse’s history, it should be a huge concern. If he was a punter, I’d be less worried. -
While our oline certainly wasn’t good last year, I think you overstating how bad it was. https://www.pff.com/news/pro-2018-nfl-offensive-line-rankings-all-32-teams-units-after-week-17. And you certainly are underestimating how many bad olines this franchise has fielded.

Mitch Morse in concussion protocol

Yeah, it’s a hell of a debate. Again it’s early but set your family up for life or possibly be a horror story of what CTE can make people. -

So given some of the stuff we’ve seen with some these athletes ( https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Players_of_American_football_who_committed_suicide )should it be all about the money? Definitely makes for an interesting discussion. its super early but some fans are seriously underestimating how devastating concussions can be. -
Mitch Morse in concussion protocol

My understanding is why there can be stronger ones, every concussion is a bad one. And they start adding up and just become easier and easier to get. That’s why it can be a very big deal. Especially in football. Especially at a position where he literally bash heads on every play. -
Mitch Morse in concussion protocol

He has a concussion history and just might have got one 4 days into camp with very little contact. I don’t think you understand how Head injuries work. It’s not like put some ice on it and take a practice off. -

I swear there was just a debate over the concussion concerns being overrated. Head injuries should never be underrated. He literally could get touched the wrong way and it could cause a concussion. Very good player but this is terrible news. The other thing you have to think about is what his family starts to think. Is it worth it any more? Sad. Probably not. Sucks because he is a good player but that was a worrisome history. -
1) I agree with the general point of elite qbs can make wrs. But also Brady’s best year was when he had Moss. 2). Are Ryan, Dalton, Stafford close to the same players without their stud receivers? No way. 3). The point about receivers not being responsible for winning SBs but you can do that for a lot of positions. One team, sadly mainly the Pats, win SBs. To say you don’t need an elite player at position because you didn’t win a SB is a little silly. And Thomas was a bad call away from being in a SB. i won’t pay the annoying, diva receiver guys like OBJ, TO, Brown monster money. They are selfish and can destroy a locker room. But to think quiet hard working guys like Thomas, Hopkins, Green don’t deserve big money because of the position they play don’t make sense to me.

The Bills playoff game no one remembers
C.Biscuit97 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It’s hilarious all the hate Flutie got. I believe he set passing records in this game. But he’s a loser because Reed throw a temper tantrum and he got murdered by Armstrong. Some fans are some dumb. ? He couldn’t be stopped. I remember This game so well. -
1) you need to maximize Brees’ window so you’re not going to play games with Thomas. 2) the cap will increase 3) your next qb is set up nice. I am clearly in the minority, but I would have keep Watkins and overpaid him (if his foot got cleared which it might not have). I’d rather overpay to have talent around your qb than underpay and have play the guys we have. but I definitely understand the concerns of paying such a dependent position so much money. But Thomas doesn’t seem like a diva and he is still really young. The NfL makes billions and billions of dollars.

Why? In the sport that makes the most money, why shouldn’t the players get it? Do you want the owners to get more of it. I never get fans who get upset at players getting paid, especially in a sport with non guaranteed contracts and the shortest careers. and all this deal is show me how much we need a real number 1 receiver. What good qb doesn’t? Brady, possibly the greatest qb ever, had Gronk. Rodgers has Adams. Brees has Thomas. Mahomes has Kelce and that troll scumbag. Ryan has Jones. Watson has Hopkins. Allen has Brown and Jones. They are ok but we need more.

Again, we traded multiple draft picks for a guy who was our number 1 receiver last year. But let’s laugh at him!
