They are 2-2 when he passes 30 times in a game. But yeah, that’s definitely the game plan. No need for hyperbole brother. At this moment, he is the MVP of the league. If Allen, who I have been critical of as a prospect, had the same exact seasons with the wins they have had, I’d be touting him as MVP too. So would all Bills fans and we won’t be trying to find ways to put him down.

I mean I guess. He also set passing records in college. Without a doubt having Roman helps. But it seems like people are so quick to dismiss that Jackson may just be a good qb.

That’s fair and I would assume Polian isn’t a racist but a guy “who is set in his ways.” It would be interesting to see what he thought about Tebow as a draft prospect because he had way worse mechanics than Jackson though.

You do realize that Jackson has better passing stats (4 less passing yards per game) across the board than Allen, right?

A good way I heard to look at this is there are people who find nothing offensive and think everything is manufactured outrage. More than likely, it’s because they might be racist. Then there are the other people who find everything offensive and look to be outraged. Most things tend to be in the middle and should be judged on a case by case basis. Bill Polian suggesting that a heisman winning QB should be a wr reeks of something other than football. This case is just a bad way of describing something and everyone will move on from in a day or two.

I mean it sucks trying to curb someone’s aggression and passion. I just look at how Cam used to fight for every yard or how Big Ben would try and make a huge play on every down and they both would eventually get injured. Allen should be watching tape of Russell Wilson and how he slides and protects himself. He never seems to take a big hit (I also think he runs way less now). So like Big Ben maybe? He was always great at keeping plays alive. He also would get hurt all the time. It’s tough because it’s what makes him great but it also gets him beat up.

is the guy a racist? I don’t know him but it seems like he wasn’t trying to be racist. Fairly innocent mistake but it was a mistake. Talking about someone’s dark skin is always going to not great. it’s a game suspension and he will be back the following week. Learn and move forward.

That’s a bad stat imo. I love the attitude but You don’t want your qb absorbing contact or running over defenders (Fitz would do this). Get on the ground or out of bounds so you don’t get broken like Cam.

In every Jackson thread, you reach really hard to put down his accomplishments. The Ravens have by far the best wins of any team in the nfl. Allen, who I thought had the best game of his career against the Cowboys who are .500, got a ton of love after it. it’s weird. When you beat good teams, are 10-3, and have accounted for 32 tds, you’re going to get a lot of attention. If Allen plays like he did against the Cowboys against our remaining schedule, he will get a ton of attention. But you come across as a hater trying to put down a qb who is having a MVP type season.

I thought the national media hated Buffalo. It’s almost like if you have good players and you win games, you will eventually get respect. ? and I still think Brown isn’t a true number 1 but he has been amazing and it’s insane how consistent he is. Probably the best FA signing of this regime.

It’s weird to say it but Dallas is much more talented than NE on offense. I believe White will take away Cooper but I bet they pound us with the Ewok. Obviously you don’t want to lose any game but next week’s Ravens game is much bigger. That long rest for the Bills could be huge for them.

Different era so completion % isn’t really comparable. But I love the cross racial comparison and it’s an interesting one. I think this Dallas game will be huge for Allen. Dallas will score points so Allen will have to lead this team to 21+ points in my opinion. This is the biggest start of his career imo. All eyes on them against a talented team on their “day.” Great test.

Over the years, I’ve tried to get a few girlfriends into the Bills and football. It hasn’t been easy haha. Maybe this is a start of something great haha.

This is going to be a game that Allen has to win. They will put up points at home. Allen will need to score 20 +. And if he does and the Bills play well, they will get all the love in the world.

Congrats on the anniversary

They had Trent Williams to block for them and those team were completely different. Their best offensive player is a rookie. Minus the terrible Giants game where he completely wasn’t ready, his first 3 games measure up to Allen’s last year. he may suck. But it’s kinda crazy that people can make any real judgments because he plays in one of the most dysfunctional situations in sports.

No offense but that’s pretty stupid. This isn’t pop warner. You need to step on team’s throats and bury them.

1) who would succeed in Washington right now? 2) some of the posters giving up on him are the same ones who are the biggest advocates of patience with our own qb. I really haven’t watched him besides our game. He looked like a young qb on a crappy team. They are an awful, awful organization.

Hung over with lots of regrets.

You know we had a guy quit at halftime last year right? This was dumb but some of these reactions are over the top. They won the game and their rookie qb took a picture with a fan. Wow!

Yup, he definitely is a High end game manager this year. And they still are probably going to win the SB. It sucks.

I think Shaq is a very solid but unspectacular player. But he seems to act like he’s Bruce Smith anytime he makes a play. he’s is going to get overlaid next year and while I think he is solid, I hope we don’t overpay him. Think about if some DE on Miami who gets 5 sacks a year did this. It would be pretty annoying. Shaq acts like he’s Bruce when he’s really Kelsey.

I think it’s obvious there has been some solid improvement. I do think context of the opponents does matter. If someone could get the defensive rankings (or DVOA) of this years and last years opponents, it would be great to compare. hopefully, he is legit growing into being a franchise qb. But I think Bears fans got tricked by Mitchell last year and it was pretty clear he benefited from a soft schedule.
