  1. The KC defense does not get the credit it deserves. Tonight their O is fine but in many games their offense is nothing special and their D just doesn’t give the game away. They usually dictate it
  2. By the way,, just for the sake of discussion 4 of the 5 opposing QB's who have played the Ravens have had their best games... except the Bills and Allen. The Baltimore D isn't all that special. I said it in another post, Josh has this borderline reckless need to hang onto the ball and hope something breaks open.. but there has to be a clock in his head. When he's about to be parallel to the ground that is too late to throw. His right shoulder and head are left so vulnerable to major impact with the ground, as he can't protect his fall. He's gotten away with it several times, but it finally bit him yesterday. And this does not include his amazing passes while straddling the sidelines. On those he is still standing vertical when he releases.
  3. Josh Allen is not really running much this year compared to usual and he's getting More beat up. That's a bad sign. I know he injured his hand vs Arizona, but he seems to get more damaged behind the LOS. I'm not convinced he plays vs the Jets until I hear it. The league is going to heavily scrutinize the play that left him nearly put him to sleep on the field.
  4. Ray Davis has sucked. I was thinking he was a perfect compliment for Cook, he'd hit the hole, one cut, north south, Boom. So far that has not worked out. But I was not a fan of Franklin's game either and didn't want us to draft him. Let's check back in 3 years and see who accomplished what.
  5. Yeah McDermott is so puckered up and his personality matches that. Nice guys, just not a clutch coach.
  6. I think most of the Allen critics yesterday and vs Baltimore are justified. Be honest and try not to be a homer. If I'm a defensive coordinator I make Allen beat you by throwing from the pocket and put a spy on him so he can't gain the edge. I personally don't love his game from the pocket, sometimes he is slow to read what is happening and his passes aren't super accurate. I love his game as he moves around and makes throws in crisis, or takes off an runs. I don't know what happened yesterday, maybe he was still hurting from the Baltimore game. Some of his short/med throws were woefully behind or sailing way too high... just no touch or accuracy. Although to me the Hollins pass was fine and shoulda been caught. The pass to Kincaid was horrendous, classic Allen throwing a frozen rope when a nice arc dropping in front of Kincaid so he can adjust and run under it was the play. Anyway, Allen is the man. He's the only reason the Bills are the Bills the past 6 years. So that's just my critique, and no I could not do any better, lol.
  7. Matt Hasselbeck on the Cowherd show said the way Josh Allen's injury was handled was "embarrassing, disgusting and a joke". He was visibly angry about it.
  8. Cowherd had a rant on McDermott. Said Andy Reid in crisis feels like a life preserver for Kansas City. He's so excellent. On the flip side McDermott feels like a kettle bell. Just pulling the team down to the bottom., again and again. He said the Bills are just throwing away potential playoff homes games against these similar teams.
  9. Jordan Love, who i don't like that much, actually throws a nicer deep pass than Allen. Most of Allen's bombs don't have the arc necessary to run under it. That one that Diggs dropped vs KC was one of Allen's best throws that's why it was so frustrating.
  10. I guess that Arizona win in week #1 doesn't look so unimpressive anymore does it?!? Amazing how things change week to week in the NFL.
  11. I thought about this yesterday too. And then watched as Cincinnati flubbed their game winning kick. Like why doesn't anyone flub a huge FG vs Buffalo? Good grief.
  12. Yeah i sometimes criticize Josh on the deep throws (like the one to Kincaid) because he throws a flat rope, not much trajectory instead of putting air under it. This throw to Hollins, to me, was spot on. This was all about Mack not tracking it like a good WR would. That affected his speed and caused it to be a low% just off the fingertips.
  13. On Sirius, the sports show on Mad Dog radio is killing McDermott this morning. Just said he’s absolutely the worst end of game coach and the Bills are going nowhere with him. That’s the summary but all the ranting was spot on.
  14. The throwing of the football while Josh is scrambling right as he's falling or being tackled to just get rid of the ball is a tough way to make a living... it's nearly impossible to protect his right shoulder and head from the impact. He's completely vulnerable doing that and it's happened a few times in the Ravens/Texans games.
  15. It sure looked like a concussion to me. That was old school to give him smelling salts and send him back in the game. I think it will be looked at this week by the league. For Allen to come out in the post game presser and say yeah it was my chest and an ankle.. Ok, Josh.
  16. It would be something to see him chew out his teammates when they screw up, run bad routes, not track the ball, etc.. A little Brady wouldn't hurt. He's all love with these guys in the pre and post game pressers. The man really enjoys football and competition but I did have a weird premonition that he would suddenly walk away from the game. Maybe he will get frustrated, hurt and say to himself, I don't need this any more...i can play golf and live in SoCal with my girlfriend. I didn't see the Bills being in the mix to win the SB this year,,, too many new and young guys. I certainly didn't think the WRs would be this ineffective. For 2025 I expect a much better team around Josh.
  17. I went 0-4 in fantasy today. and absorbed a Bills L. On my main team Aaron Jones and Nico Collins both having nice games went out in the 1st Qtr.
  18. This game is a throwback to defense
  19. How the hell can someone like Tyrell Shavers not produce more than Samuel or Hollins? seems impossible
  20. On Flight radar the Bills plane has landed and parked. I’ll let McDermott stew over the film. I’m now moving on to the NY Jets !
  21. The Bills have won so much in recent years we haven’t worked up many revenge games. We now have the Ravens and Texans right where we want em, if we see them in the playoffs. Thats my glass half full approach
  22. Joe Brady is pissing me off and i’m tired of him learning these tough lessons on the fly. Have a plan Joe. So things went south vs Baltimore doesn’t mean you now have to run on nearly every first down often putting us in 2nd and 8. Every other team can scheme dudes open. Joe can’t get some of these WRs open for a 5 yard pass. We have Josh Allen it’s complete absurdity
  23. It’s a combination of The receivers being horrendous and Josh really being made uncomfortable. To me he’s never been a fantastic pocket passer, he’s fantastix at moving around, scrambling and/or making throws on the run. But this year he’s not running much, and the pocket throwing is mediocre at best. Sometimes he rolls outside late but the spy is actually beating him to the edge forcing a throwaway, short gain, or a bone crunching hit.
  24. If that was Tua on the field today they’d be having segments on every show tomorrow about how he should retire. That didn’t look good for Josh and i was really surprised he came back in. Don’t want the man risking the future of his brain. He is a tough dude but he was zoned Out lying on the field.
  25. I totally agree that only the playoffs matter. But in large chunks of the Baltimore and Houston games this does not appear to be a playoff caliber club. The good news is that we play in arguably the worst division this season, so even mediocre football gets you in the tournament.
