It’s just galling that Allen has one of the all time great stat lines, McVay is calling him an alien and McDermott finds a way to completely end the game by calling timeout when saving all 3 was our only chance to get the ball back.
There just had to be a Billsy angle to this loss. But overall i thought the Rams earned it. Not really flukey other than the blocked punt. We flat out could not stop them.
I am at the stage where the Bills
losses (even when playoffs are clinched) are so much more painful than the wins are enjoyable. That’s not good.
I’m going to rationalize by saying this loss today will allow them to fix some things that are broken. It’s a reset. Now they can start a winning streak to get us where they want to go.
It would’ve been nice if McDermott and Babich could’ve stopped the Rams on a few drives before those late botches. We are really vulnerable on D. My SB dreams have been tempered.
Bills D was clearly exposed. some of us said a few weeks ago if the D doesn’t force turnovers the other team will drive on us to death. Thats the Bills secret sauce, bending, forcing a TO or two and capitalizing on offense.
We think so, we hope so. But the other day on National sports shows on TV they were calling him Phillip Rivers. Until he puts up some hardware with his name on it. and they specifically mentioned MVP as counting even if he never wins a Lombardi. So that’s what the outsiders are thinking.
Im with you. i want his personal greatness to be recognized and immortalized. I want him to leave his career in Buffalo with that hardware. That award is within Josh’s control.
Winning the SB is the ultimate but that is not all in Allen’s control unfortunately. That takes a team and frankly a little luck.
We’ve literally lost the “Game of the Year” 5 straight years. Thanks Sean. How about rising to the occasion with your timeout usage and defensive play calls.
