  1. I agree. Although when Matt Patricia used that word to admonish the sloucher in this press conference...that was pretty hilarious. I gotta hand it to him for creative way to use "respect the process"
  2. It's brutal. I had mine for 12 years and often had to list them on all the secondary sites and craigslist for well under face. I wouldn't list for single digits, i'd just give them away. A couple times I did donate my tix to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo. They are appreciative and sent me a nice thank you letter. This season the Redskins have somehow taken control of their secondary tickets and they either get sold at a reasonable price or the seat goes empty. They first had to admit that there is no season ticket waiting list. But they did not want to see anymore $5 tickets on Seatgeek or Stubhub or wherever.
  3. I haven't always made the smartest decisions, but dumping my season tickets this past summer just prior to this season was a beauty.
  4. I've stood behind the man. He's a solid D coordinator. But I don't feel like he will be the guy to bring an innovative, good offense here. I don't think he will be the guy to develop Josh Allen in any way. I don't think he will be the guy who knows how to find an offensive coordinator who will elevate the entire staff and quality of play on that side of the ball. Something struck me when McD was doing his coaches show before the New England game. They were asking him about Belicheck and all his success. McD made the point that Belicheck hung in there (with his vision?) and got it right the 2nd time around. I assumed he meant his second head coaching stop. I just left that point thinking yup, this is McD's first stop and it will surely end in failure and his faith will lead him to believe he will get it right in his second stop. I do feel they should stick with Beane. He's a smart guy, and he knows what went wrong here. I'm fairly confident he will properly handle the upcoming draft and going after free agents.
  5. May as well pull for NE to win the Super Bowl. Brady and Bill are so competitive. They may finally leave if they can go out on top. Anything short of winning it all they probably come back
  6. I agree with EJ. His last few games with the Raiders he looked like a real QB. Not a complete joke like the guy that started here today.
  7. Peterman is going to get released. He has to. If nothing else to exorcise some demons surrounding the offense. But seriously, he won’t ever be starting another NFL game again. He will be lucky to get another 3rd string gig.
  8. No way! He had 31 completions today. That’s a windfall by Buffalo Bills standards. Never mind the 3 picks (never his fault) and the 45 QB rating.
  9. Could the Bills win? Of course. They have NFL players and a couple W’s already. However it seems bizarre for any national media person to pick them to win straight up, especially with Peterman at the helm. I’d take Buf +10 at home any day. But I wouldn’t bet much on straight up
  10. Meh, I’ve never liked Bradford. Let’s just stick with the Peterman and hope Allen gets healthy soon
  11. If they clear him to throw and he's not injuring himself more, he should definite play. He needs to learn how to read the defense on the fly,,,,and how to better manage himself in the pocket. The slick passing I expect to ramp up next season.
  12. Seems like the Niners have been able to plug in no-name guys like Beathard and now Mullens. What have they gotten, 11 or 12 TD passes between those guys? That is really respectable production and obviously way better than what Buffalo has been able to do... I give the QB's most of the credit and Shanahan for putting their scheme together.
  13. Losing 3 in a row. Here we go...sliding back towards the bottom. They get more shots which is good but can't finish. If they are really different the Sabres will stem the losing and win the next 3.
  14. I've been saying this all along. The only major work the kid has seen at home was the Saints mop up duty and the Indy snow game. He played fine in those. His disasters have all been on the road. Anyway, he's so fortunate to be getting another shot in the NFL. Hopefully he doesn't blow his chance, again. The Bears will be tough but they aren't a brick wall on D.
  15. Lol. I’m waiting for the board to freak out wondering why the Bills can’t find someone like Nick Mullens. I give the SF coaching staff credit too. Those were some nicely executed plays and calls. He’s throwing sideline passes to wide open receivers. Peterman throws those our receivers are blanketed and get pick- sixed!
  16. I also think AJ will go higher than expected...and he should be going to the Buffalo Bills. I know Dallas wants him and many others. The Bills should not be passing up on any more high NFL draft talent like this in their own backyard. The guy is polished & smooth, he catches the ball with his hands and he makes all kinds of contested receptions. His size and speed are fine. He knows how to get open and you can just see he is an NFL talent. If the Bills pick in the #3-5 range maybe they trade down a few spots, acquire more draft pick(s), and take AJ closer to where he is projected,,,,mid-late 1st rounder.
  17. Well, if UB runs the table except for one loss at Ohio, and still loses the MAC East, then the Bobcats will have earned it. That means Ohio will have won at WMU, at Miami, vs. UB and vs. Akron. Not an easy 4-game roll. Back in August i predicted UB to finish 9-3 so they are playing above my expectations. I figured they would lose to Temple and two MAC games.
  18. Eh i don't recall Colton Schmidt dropping too many punt snaps or planning his own fake FG's. I'm ok with Bjorquez being on the sidelines for now.
  19. Mahomes himself has said that Andy Reid is a genius. Reid's coaching and their weapons around Mahomes have probably tapped into his highest potential. I just don't recall anyone in the local or national media pounding the table for the Bills to draft Mahomes and/or saying after the draft how it was a horrible miss by Buffalo. It's all 20/20 hindsight stuff. In addition, the Bills got a pretty darn good CB with the KC pick at a huge value, based on where Tre was picked and how good he turned out to be. I recall in that draft if we were going QB, I wanted Deshaun Watson.
  20. I've often told my kids, you can't get physical over words. They are just words. You can't swing at people whether it's their siblings or kids on the playground or at school over words. Seems like so-called adults don't always listen to that advice.
  21. The D was disappointing but hey, it's the MAC on a Tuesday night and weird things happen. I thought Ragland and Miami looked much better than their record. Great to see AJ and the offense get it together. UB has a bunch of weapons. AJ had better be a priority for the Buffalo Bills or I will be pissed. What was up with the refs? They obviously wanted a ton of airtime and to be the center of attention. They called 24 accepted penalties for 239 yds. I mean Geez! They helped and really hurt BOTH teams at various points in the game. The one penalty I feel they should have called was the hit on Hodge. They called the exact same penalty against the Bills Kelvin Benjamin on Monday night. Isn't that just plain and simply a dangerous hit? I thought those are now being flagged at all levels. Whether there's no helmet contact it's still a dangerous hit on an unsuspecting player. There are plenty of ways to block without doing that.
  22. This is game #1 of the Peterman and McD redemption tour! The only way I can give myself a shred of hope vs. Chicago is that Peterman has played "not horrible" at New Era Field. His epic games against the Chargers, Ravens and Texans have been in hostile stadiums. His- not killing the team- outings have been at home vs. New Orleans (in garbage time) and the Indy snow game where he actually got the Bills a lead.
  23. The Bills better make Anthony Johnson a priority. I don’t care, use a couple of those 10 draft picks to make sure
  24. Anyone know where Joe Webb is right about now ? He and Peterman teamed up for the W in the Indy snow game.
  25. McD is never going to criticize any of his players or coaching staff. Ever. That's just how he is. But in private I'm sure he is beyond frustrated and annoyed at what is going on.
