  1. Giving up is not the answer. It could be a lot worse meaning the Buffalo Bills are still in Buffalo. I agree it has been painful at times this past decade but we have no where to go but up.
  2. Bengals 20 Jets 17 Eagles 27 Cowboys 24 Pats 27 Ravens 16 Cardinals 31 Packers 24
  3. It would be a good start to finding a successful coach. Even if it is for one year, I still like the idea.
  4. R. Rich, if you need a trustworthy partner, I could help, because I really like this idea.
  5. I'll fourth that. If you can get a Patrick Willis type of linebacker at this stage in the draft, I am all for it. If we go with Bradford, that is risky and my suggestion is to go out and sign some offensive lineman in free agency, definitely a solid left tackle. Bradford has the makings of a very good quarterback in the NFL, but obviously has gotten hurt a lot in college.
  6. It could be interesting heading into the last week against the Colts at home, who might be playing for an undefeated season.
  7. Time will tell on this one. Although the injury is unfortunate, when he came into the game he just didn't look comfortable in the pocket.
  8. I think I agree with almost everything that you wrote with this post. It is clear that Fred Jackson is a star and it is good that we have him for two more years under contract.
  9. I agree with the offensive tackle as our first pick, but if the quarterback that we really want is there for us, I think we draft him, whoever that maybe. There could be a handful of really good quarterbacks coming out of the upcoming draft.
  10. That is defintely a positive this season. He has played very well as a rookie. Two things stand out from our draft this year. One, we traded up to get Levtre in the second round which has proven to be a good move. The second was also in the second round after the Patriots picked. Our selection if I remember correctly took no more than one minute and I thought it was around 15-30 seconds. That was where we got Byrd, who has been another positive for this season. As for the other picks, it still remains to be seen and it is unfortunate what happened to Wood who looked to be a very good player, but obviously there is potential there.
  11. Absolutely agree. There is no harm in putting him in the rest of the season. I would love to see the Bills give him another chance to finish out the regular season as our starter.
  12. I'm sorry, but I am not going to root against them losing. If they lose, fine, clearly they will get a better pick for a quarterback or left tackle, but the Bills will not be playing to lose. If you were the interm head coach, would you want to lose to the chiefs? As a true fan, I want them to win out, I am tired of losing.
  13. Do you think we can win out? If you do, you are very optimistic and that is a good thing.
  14. It seemed like everything in the 4th quarter went the Bills way, something that has not happened in a long time. It was good to see. I like that Fitzpatrick took chances down the field. It was fortunate that Miami did not get any points after the turnover late in the first half. Stopping the run still seems to be an issue. I was not watching carefully but where did Ricky Williams run most of his successful plays? It just seemed that everytime that he touched the ball it was at least a 5 yard gain.
  15. There were times in the Bears game where Jason was simply dominating at the line of scimmage. I also think he didn't play his best that night and still was very solid protecting the quarterback as well as on running plays.
  16. You maybe on to something there. However, we seemed to keep the ship afloat up until January 2000 when the miralce throwback play occured against Tennessee in our last playoff apperance. To me, there really was not a more painful loss of a football game for our beloved Buffalo Bills.
  17. Ok then Simon, if you are so against this, then what would you have done about this situation?
  18. Wow, did you forget that he led the Bills to four straight super bowls and several playoff appearances?
  19. Optimistic thinking and I hope you are right.
  20. I wouldn't have guessed that it would have happened now, I thought for sure after the season. Anyway, who said things were not interesting around here?
  21. It is interesting to see how individuals react to non stop losing. I don't like it myself, but obviously those who are die hard Bills fans like us have knowledge of what that is like and it stinks. All I can tell you Mike and others is don't give up hope for the future of the Buffalo Bills. We'll be a better team next year, I hope.
  22. As usual Bill, another good after the game post. Your (2) comment was probably the most comical thing I have read in a while. It is as clear as day that when you wrote this you were very frusturated and upset, as are most of us. Every week I am ready to rip my hair out watching my favorite team lose in different ways. I am not ready to jump off the cliff yet because the Bills are still in Buffalo. However, do you really expect anything different after the last decade of non stop losing football?
  23. I figured that we would be getting a post about this today. Posting this stat is a good thing even if it hurts because it has too be seen.
  24. If it does happen, which I highly doubt, any thoughts on who you think would take over for the rest of this year?
  25. Respectfully disagree. His decision making needs to improve inside the red zone, no question about that, but he is very talented and eventually will be one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL.
