  1. Respectfully disagree. His decision making needs to improve inside the red zone, no question about that, but he is very talented and eventually will be one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL.
  2. I agree with this. However, I would welcome Vick to the team, certainly not this year, but maybe next year.
  3. Interesting and its good to show that. Do not rule out Maybin being a bust yet. I still think he can play the outside linebacker position as a few have said on TBD.
  4. That really suprised me. I understood the second challenge because of the fourth down play and that was a critical play. The first challenge was a head scratcher. Also, what was the point of kicking a 52 yard field goal at the end of the game with no timeouts and only 4:30 left in the game? I thought at the time, well, maybe they'll onside kick it after they got the 3 points, who knows right? A deep kickoff and then Dallas just for the most part runs the clock out with some nice runs from Barber and good blocking by the offensive line.
  5. I agree Red. Also, if he does sign there I could see him being pretty effective. He certainly can still run the football.
  6. I respectfully disagree. There are a few special players out there that have a nose for the football and despite the good or bad coaching will continue to make very good plays. I do not think that Jauron will have ruined Byrd whatsoever by the end of the season. I actually think Jauron would be a good secondary coach if given the opportunity.
  7. Absolutely agree. Also, he publically apologized for it and said it wouldn't happen again. I don't think needs to carry on through out the NFL season.
  8. Keep the weekly posts coming Bill. In your opinion, do you think that left tackle is our most important need going into next season?
  9. I was thinking the same thing. The Cody kid from Alabama seems to be a good nose tackle, but I have not seen much of Suh.
  10. There is nothing wrong with being optimitic. As long as the team doesn't move, it will get better.
  11. I don't think this is the week where Buffalo comes to play and win. I am seeing another low scoring game, maybe like 13-3.
  12. If the Bills move from Buffalo, it would be worse, much worse.
  13. We have a shot to beat the spread.
  14. Sam Bradford would be my choice.
  15. Have to start somewhere. I am all for the optimistic thinking but is this situation realistic? Are we really going to be that much better next year?
  16. I realize that the Bills have not made it to the playoffs in the last 10 years going on 11. I know they thought we were rebuilding after Wade Phillips left at the end of 2001 season and another time after Tom Donahoe was fired. So I only count 2 actual times where it was obvious that we were rebuilding as a team. It looks as if we are going to start over again after the season. I think in the front office has rebuilt the Buffalo football team 2 times in the last 10 years and after this year most likely 3. How many does everyone else think?
  17. It is certainly contagious. I am point the past of relaxing. At least we'll have a top 5 pick next year.
  18. Bill I wasn't sure you were going to post yesterday because I didn't see it but keep it coming each week. The comment about Lee Evans suprised me a little. Do you really think he is not getting separation from the corner playing him or is it the fact that teams are double teaming him?
  19. As painful as things are right now, I really think it is too early to jump to conclusions four games into the season. If he improves each week, then we'll see what he can do. Also, Eric Wood and Andy Levitre seem to be good picks in this years draft so that is a positive.
  20. I plan on watching it. It might be painful to watch at times but never give up on the beloved Buffalo Bills.
  21. I hope it never happens. I know it would devastate me for life. Buffalo Bills for life.
  22. I'm not so sure it is a good idea at all to bench him, but having a change of pace back and flat out great running back in Lynch only makes our offense more potent.
  23. I think the Bills will win this game, but I think it is going to be another close game. Bills 20 Tampa 17
  24. I remember that one, watching the end of the game, I thought it might have been earlier in the season. Still, didn't we make it to the playoffs that year only to lose against the Jaguars? One of the ones that stand out to me was a game in 1997 against the Broncos at home. Alex Van Pelt came in during the 3rd quarter and rallied a huge comeback out of no where and Steve Christie nailed a 55 yearder or something like that on the final play of regulation to tie it at 20 going into overtime. After losing the coin flip we still got the ball because Denver wanted the wind in their direction. The reverse play at the beginning of overtime had me shaking my head for a long time and Jason Elam made around a 32 yarder to win it for the Broncos in overtime.
  25. As usual Bill, good post from the game. I really can not blame this game on the coaching. I thought it was interesting about the McKelvin fumble. He fumbled on the previous return but Nic Harris was in the right spot to pick it up. Bottom line is, I do not think McKelvin is going to forget about this and we'll see if it makes him a stronger player than before. I think it will and coming home this upcoming week to play the Bucs is going to help. The best way to solve this already heartbreaking game from 2009-2010 is to get a win against the Bucs.
