I'm not sure if Huggins has PS eligibility left. If not then I think Hubbard is the new Huggins. And Huggins was the new Justin Jenkins; Jenkins the new ..?..; ..?.. the new Drew Haddad etc. (practice squad parade...) I think the big question is if they try to PS Aiken. I see him developing, and he has great size. Unlike some of the others, I think he'll quickly grow into a very good NFL receiver. I love watching the young guys come along and get a chance to earn a place in the NFL. Right now my preference for the Bills developmental players to keep is: Top Kamar Aiken Kellen Heard Michael Jasper Felton Huggins Paul Hubbard Bottom I could see any of the top 3 of those guys not makign it to, or being taken off of our PS.

Which is the better seat location?
Matt in KC replied to BUFFALOKIE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Everyone has their own preference. I'd prefer to be behind the Bills bench on the lower level about 15 rows up so you can see over the players during plays and see/hear them between plays. Here's the Arrowhead seating chart. If you click and hold on a section it shows the view of the field from mid-section. I'm very excited to have tickets at the front of section 346 (purchased off Craig's List). http://www.kcchiefs.com/tickets/seating.html -
There seems to be some indication he actually signed now. Morrison not expected to play Morrison is #58 This definitely sounds like an upgrade!

Places to eat/drink/have fun in Kansas City
Matt in KC replied to Xbolt2506's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I'll echo CookieG and say it sounds like you're looking for the Power and Light district. There are a lot of places to choose from and all walkable. You can get some great food, or a casual sports bar right next to each other in an area with a nice sense of "place" if that makes sense. Power and Light District Other misc feedback: I agree with what the others have posted. Public transportation is not very good, and cabs are not inexpensive here. It's a car culture and the city is pretty sperad out. I'd definitely recommend renting a car if you want to go anywhere besides from the airport to lodging (and of course to the game). About a half mile north from P&L (at approx 5th and Main) is the City Market with a variety of shops, restaurants with outdoor seating, antique shops, and farmers / flea market. Both are fun places to spend some time and really feel like you're in KC. There are a lot of great choices for BBQ. I love Oklahoma Joe's and Gates, but I bet there are 100 places to try around the city. If you go to City market I recommend Winslow's KC-Style City Market Barbecue if it's a nice day to sit outside. You may think I'm crazy now, but definitely order the fried green beans! Winslows is a simple inexpensive bar/BBQ joint with outdoor seating, tasty BBQ and cold beer, with a lot going on right around it. -

Hogboy rants about volunteer firemen... (arsonists) -
I'd like to see the following things that I feel are all realistic, though I only expect to see around 50% NO INJURIES A TD from our starting offense CJ Spiller run decisively CJ break a tackle CJ have at least one good pass block White run for over 10 yards (he's decisive and I've like to see him get to the second level at least once) White get to the LOS most of the time before a defender is on him (2nd string o-line performance) Decent CB play fom Corner. If he plays poorly, I'm about ready to give up on him, though I've read reports he's had some good days at camp. More flashes of playmaking from A. William. I don't care if he gets burned a couple times; he's still learning Something better than mediocre special teams play on kicks and coverage. At this point average would be a big step up. No Moorman punts under 35 yards. If this happens from the Bills side of the field, something is wrong and I'm startign to worry about CM Two or more physically dominating plays from either Jasper or Heard Few penalties. I'm not too worried about it, but not uncommon in preseason and is often an indicator of poor coaching Pure wish-list: I'd like to see an INT from McGee. I believe he's a natural playmaker and would love to see him look really healthy with his "jump" back --------------------------------- For whatever reason I can't post the below separately. The board keeps merging my reply with the above.... No love for Kyle, Barnett etc?

Bills-Bears COMPLETE 1st Half Recap
Matt in KC replied to Ralonzo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks for the write up, Ralonzo. (Bump) -
I'm pretty sure you thinking of Crowell, Haggan and Stamer. By the end Crowell started contributing significantly as a LB and Haggan on ST (and held his own but was unspectacular in spot duty as a LB). Stamer was more forgetable....

This post from a Baltimore fan says it all
Matt in KC replied to Just in Atlanta's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mario Haggan started at LB for the Broncos the last 2 years, and got 5 sacks last year. Mario was our special teams star most of the years Coy Wire had that reputation. I remember watching Stamer, Crowell and Haggan develop, wondering which would differentiate themselves from the others and become starter-quality. -
Thanks for the notes!

How to watch football online this year
Matt in KC replied to saundena's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ouch indeed! I swear it was like $40 a couple years ago. You know what I'd do? I'd call up and immediately ask for the Customer Retention department, then say [insert DTV spiel here].... -
How to watch football online this year
Matt in KC replied to saundena's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know if they still have it, but I thought you could watch games live through NFL.com, but only if you were outside the US and Canada. It was either free of very affordable ($40/year?). I haven't looked this up in a couple years since I'm inside the US. It was called "Game Fan" or "Game Pass" or similar. -

Thanks, I'll look them! -
I'm thinking about buying NFL Rewind this year. I know NFL.com says games will be available by midnight. When have they been ready to watch since you've subscribed? Was it really midnight Eastern? Thanks for any info/
