Kind of like Clay Matthews without the pass rushing skill? I really like Keuchly's pass coverage skills and what that does for our defense. Sure he flies around the field, but is a LB who doesn't rush the passer really worth the #10 pick?

I like the thought of getting as many 2nd-3rd round picks as possuble if you can't get the top talent at the begining if the first round. I'd rather have more 2nd round picks than first rounders, and additional 2-3rd rounders for more late round picks. I agree this depends on how mature your roster is. A SB team might well want fewer higher-skilled draftees, while a team finishign last in the division needs as many bodies as possible to clean house and get new blood on the team. One other note: you can't trade compensatory picks like our late 7th rounder.

I think I forgive Revis the transgression of not singing Johnson's praises for his good game around Thanksgiving. Not to short Johnson: the first game of 2011 was also nice including a 52 yard catch over Revis and other successes. Johnson has been doing quite well against Revis. You're right, a lot better than othre #1 WRs from the stats I remember seeing at some point. I think another game or two and Revis will start mentioning him. ("It's not that I had a bad game, it's that Steve is a very talented reciever.")

Bell was a pleasant surprise. He looked better than expected. Then again, almost everyone on the o-line performed better than I expected last year. I think the low sack count was largely due to scheming, especially RF getting rid of the ball quickly. While Bell wasn't a matador, he was nothing special IMO, and the injuries are a concern. I don't think he's worth investing big $$ or a long contract. I loved Chandler's play in his big games, but think he disappeared for long stretches of the season because we couldn't afford to have him run a route. I'd love to see an o-line that can hold it's own with little help to open up our offensive options. (We of course also need more offensive weapons like TE, WR.) All that said, if we don't start the year with Bell or better, I'll be really disappointed.

The NFL needs to modernize. Why can't the head referee just tweet his ruling via his iPhone and anyone who's interested can just get the info that way? "Hold a sec. Y? Could b 15 yrder or kick #98 outta game... j/k"
