    I'm not sure we could draft a LB to start right away. If we do move Spikes inside, then we'd probably go into the season with Crowell and Ellison starting. i'm not sure it's that big an issue if a draft pick can't start right away.

    One thing I'd make of this - it's a different team post-bye. When you're considering which side of the ball the emphasize in the offseason, I think it makes more sense to look at second half numbers than season numbers.

    The Bills scored 300 points this season. 100 before the bye, 200 after. That's improvement.

    How can this not affect Clements' willingness to go there? I just don't see a couple mil in signing bonus making it worthwhile to him.

    You do need to break those numbers down pre-bye and post-bye. GS on this board is that we need to upgrade the line. The only questions is if that is Priority 1, 2, or 3.

    It wasn't exactly a do or die. They were faced with a 4th and 5 on a day where they averaged 6 yards a play, and they would've had plenty of time had they made it.
