  1. Seriously, people need to stop crying.
  2. That was not a penalty. People really need to stop crying about penalties.
  3. No one is complaining; just pointing that that is hardly ever called and happens all the time.
  4. The bills were gifted 4 points. What sefarian- jenkins is what TEs do every week. Bad call but i'll take it.
  5. A challenge to all here -- stop bitching about penalties.
  6. The bills pass rush has been horrible for weeks now. They simply don't win one on one matchups AT ALL.
  7. Like under .500 overall without him when he's been on the roster and 2-14 the year before he arrived.
  8. Exactly - but that entails beating the Jets tonight! They have no business losing this game. They're a better team with better coaching (not that Bowles is terrible; he's not), and they're on the face of it supremely motivated. Honestly, I'll take a win, but I really want a decisive victory.
  9. 1-3 x 2 = 2-6. They still have to play NE and KC on the road. Those are guaranteed losses. I don't expect that the Bills will go 8-0 at home. 9-7 will not get them in, most likely.
  10. The Colts are 43-27 when he has started. Their record is quite different when he hasn't.
  11. yeah, but the Bills should have scored 31 - a dropped TD pass by Clay that turned into an INT plus a missed FG. The Bills pretty much dominated in that game. Agreed. That said, they are not talented overall. If Wilkerson (a Bills killer) can't go, that's great for the Bills. They simply can't lose to a Jets team without Mo Wilkerson.
  12. yeah, i would because losing to a bad jets team proves that they're a bad road team. You can't go 2-6 on the road or worse and make the playoffs. They have to win this game. The Jets have been playing hard, but make no mistake: they are a bad, low-talent team. Playoff teams can't lose these games.
  13. If the Bills lose this game I'm going to write them off as a playoff contender. This is the sort of game that a playoff team has to win. You simply can't lose to an inferior Jets team whose season is going off of the rails. Good teams beat up on bad teams like this, whether at home or on the road. The Bills haven't started 6-2 in over two decades, and they went from 5-2 to 5-3 twice in the last decade.
  14. Man, Dog, I felt like I was reading Pravda -- there's nothing in the piece on Shaq Lawson's inability to get remotely close to the qb!
  15. Not saying he's a great qb by any means (he's better than a bunch of the scrubs populating NFL rosters), but you're an idiot ( )for invoking QB records. It's the ultimate team game. The team with him at QB went 1-10 (or whatever it was). QB records are a more worthless stat than MLB won-loss records for pitchers, which have their own set of problems.
  16. LOL! That was TO, if I recall correctly.
  17. Scouting report from NFL.com - http://www.nfl.com/draft/2014/profiles/kelvin-benjamin?id=2543471 ANALYSIS STRENGTHS Possesses rare size with an 83-inch wingspan. Is a physical mismatch vs. defensive backs and linebackers. Eats cushion and separates with long strides. Strong approach to the ball -- is not easily knocked off course and will enter the middle on crossers. Outstanding jumpball catcher -- climbs the ladder, plucks the ball at its highest point and regularly snatches it out of the air with superb body control and the grace of a ballerina. Creates separation with his body. Adjusts surprisingly well for the low ball and tracks it well over his shoulder. Energetic football demeanor. Confident and competitive. Strong-handed. Uses his body well to shield the defender from the ball and can beat double coverage. Good run strength after the catch (see three tackles broken on TD run vs. Florida) and does not go down easy. Strong enough to handle defensive ends when motioned inside to chip and delivered some head-snapping, crackback blocks (see N.C. State). Emerged as a clutch, go-to, big-play receiver -- caught the game-winning TD in the national championship game vs. Auburn and consistently was targeted in critical situations and in the red zone. Scorched Florida CB Loucheiz Purifoy and created mismatch problems from the slot. WEAKNESSES Lacks elite, top-end speed and many catches are contested. Hand use could improve releasing vs. tight, press coverage. Overly grabby. Is not yet a nuanced route runner and does not sink his hips and pop in and out of his breaks. Does not shake many defenders after the catch. Will make the easy concentration drop and focus could stand to improve at the break point (three drops vs. Florida). Seeks to run before securing the ball and double-catches more than he should. Blocking effort/sustainability has room to improve on the move. Has a 32 1/2-inch vertical jump and recorded the slowest 60-yard shuttle time (12.10 seconds) of any receiver at the combine. DRAFT PROJECTION Round 1 BOTTOM LINE A tight end-sized, intimidating, big-play receiver with a rare wingspan, Benjamin has the overall strength, length and wide catching radius that will demand extra coverage be rolled his way. Showed continual improvement, is still growing into the position, and possesses the traits to become a legitimate No. 1 receiver. A very intriguing mismatch weapon with ascending talent.
  18. 1.7 percent drop rate last year - 2 drops on 63 targets. That's better than average.
  19. I almost added "(no pun intended)"!
  20. He's not a blemish-free player - there is a reason he was traded. But he has upside and he's definitely an upgrade. The Bills have so many picks next year that coughing up a 3 seems like a small price. It is possible to have too many picks if a team roster is solid - at some point, diminishing returns kick in.
  21. 1.7 percent drop rate in 2016, which is very good: https://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/drops/2016/
  22. yup. there is a downside, but an upside too.
  23. Weight issues and lack of speed, but productive nonetheless. He's not a great player, but the positives outweigh the negatives and I think it's a good trade overall.
