  1. I do. I'd estimate him getting a 3 year at under 10.
  2. thanks for this, I'll check it out
  3. At 8? When he has a 3rd rd grade? I wouldn't trust you to serve me fries.
  4. 8 posts and a how are we doing thread... Russ, is that you?
  5. I appreciate the OP's attempt at what I think could be a useful thread, but you guys explaining things to him don't realize you're trying to teach algebra to someone learning their times tables, he's not capable of understanding it.
  6. http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/jets/post/_/id/19948/bad-news-for-jets-bills-hire-pettine Didn't see this one posted yet
  7. Thanks! Great post!
  8. Lovie Smith interested. We hire a college coach with 5 losses last season. Inspired choice by the braintrust.
  9. Notre Dame is his dream job. He's not leaving the Bend to go to Buffalo
  10. Lovie Hugh Rod!
  11. Yes, this definitely warranted it's own thread
  12. Manti is sick. ND haters will always find a reason to dump on anyone who comes out of the school
  13. Lovie HC and Norv Turner OC- Done
  14. Chargers are absolutely above us. Not to mention most people would rather live in San Diego over Buffalo, just sayin. I agree the Eagles is a HIGH pressure job, but they are also the most visible market, even over Chicago, so that's a factor that could jump them up a spot or drop them a spot depending on wh oyou're talking about.
  15. Nassib is not a franchise QB
  16. I get a laugh when I hear people actually saying no to semi-respected names. When it's all said and done we're not going to hire anyone with a 1/3 of his experience or respect around the league and we'll be back here in 3 years again wondering if Chuckie will leave his job at ESPN for us.
  17. I may have missed it. Obviously we as fans are caling for Chan's dismissal, but I thought Nix said he was staying next year?
  18. He's the best MLB prospect to come out in years. I have watched every game he's ever played in college and he is amazing. I don't throw homer praise out either. I called Quinn being a bust and thought Claussen would be marginally better. Te'o will be a pro bowler by year 2
  19. We'll play just well enough to put ourselves 1 or 2 spots out of the running for a difference-maker in the 1st rd.
  20. Here's the original Buffalo News article: http://www.buffalonews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20121023/SPORTS/121029722/1004 And before you all correct me and say that he is just saying he doesn't listen to critics, they gave him a chance to rephrase and he chose not to. He got defensive about a game in which he contributed a total of two tackles and mouthed off. At least Kelsay had the right response in showing he was upset about his performance and not at the reporter for questioning him.
  21. I have a problem with all the people criticizing Mike for his post. 1- He's earned the right to vent if only due to his years of posting on this board. Some of you may not appreciate seniority because you've been here all of 2-3 years, but he has been here for ages and has never been a doom and gloomer he should get a little respect. 2- Kneejerk reactions like "don't let the door hit you.." are worthless. Evaluate the statement and counter if you disagree. 3- He's not the only one feeling like this. More and more longtime fans are disgusted with the EFFORT of the team. Kelsay vocalized what the fans have been feeling for years: we invest more emotionally in the performance of the players than they do themselves. What happened to showing a work ethic and some pride in what you do and the community you represent. I was sickened by Mario's "I don't care what you think" comment because it reflects apathy towards his performance that is evident in the effort we see him play with on the field. We're all fans. We'd all love to have the ability to hope this team can turn things around against the odds. Some are having a hard time finding that hope anymore and it's understandable after years of subpar performances. Moreover, the thing that has killed hope, as many have noted in this thread is NOT poor play due to a lack of talent. Hope is suffocated when great talent plays with no passion or effort. We have a VERY talented D-line. They are not performing up to their abilities and we see people giving up on plays. That's a kick in the nads to die-hard fans. I still hope we can turn things around, but I haven't seen any indication from a frustrated or pissed off group of defenders to indicate a turnaround is in the offing.
  22. I completely understand you Mike. I've found myself similarly taking a bit of a step back from the Bills in the past few weeks. Like others I tend to DVR the games now rather than going out of my way to watch them live. I used to check this site multiple times a day, now I look in every other week. Be a fan, but don't lose sleep over the team. It's obvious the defense and DC aren't losing sleep over being this terrible and there is zero chance we make the playoffs this year. You don't go from a terrible team to a winning franchise overnight and we won't see a movie-type turnaround this year.
  23. I believe the Bills lose directly as a result of Sullivan's actions. He might be some sort of warlock. Anyone ever thought of that? Is anyone missing a pet? I believe there was a report of an unnatural dark cloud directly above Sully's house sometime Saturday.
  24. We'll wind up with pick 3 or 4. Top 2 picks will be qbs and we'll be SOL again
  25. I'm despondent. I feel like apologizing to everyone I've ever argued with on this board telling them we were headed in the right direction these past few years. I've never seen us look worse.
