  1. That's EXACTLY what I kept doing. He's lost all of his mojo
  2. Wow. You guys really like to attack don't you? I thought the interview slanted a bit negative and I outlined my reasoning and then asked if you thought I was off base and all of a sudden I am super sensitive and looking for negative things to say? For the record, Tim Graham is my favorite Buffalo sportswriter. I read all of his stuff and I agree he is objective and a very good writer. If you go back in the timeline you'd see that I regularly sided with Tim when he used to post here on the board. The ONLY thing about my post I would change is the title, which states the article was negative. I should have put a question mark at the end.
  3. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/07/12/pft-live-can-fitzpatrick-turn-the-bills-around/ Very interesting interview on PFT live. However, I was surprised with the seemingly negative tone of Tim Graham's comments. I may be off base, but he seemed to poo poo the positive spin Florio was trying to put on the Bills offseason. I only noticed because it's the first time I've ever heard a "home town" reporter speaking less positively about his team than Florio. Struck me as out of character for Tim. What do you guys think? Why did I say he was "negative?" 1- Florio- Great offseason, fans must be excited. Graham- Bills have a bad track record, people aren't as excited as you think 2- Florio- New QB coach has people excited about Fitz's potential. Graham- New stuff never worked for old boxers, so Fitz probably won't get much better. 3- Florio- Who's gonna be #2? Graham- TJ drops balls and can't go over the middle.
  4. Have you ever followed the Bills? They don't value the tight end position at all. If they hadn't stumbled upon Chandler, we wouldn't have gone out and picked up a good FA or drafted one before the 4th round.
  5. I am a bit confused about why a lot of people here seem so focused on the TE position? I say this because we have the unique advantage of having 2 excellent RBs who have great hands and we are often in 5 wide sets. The very nature of our offense uses the TE position rather sparingly, though Chandler did a great job maximizing his opportunities last year. The obvious response is "it gives us a unique wrinkle" or "so and so team uses them effectively", but I don't see either as particularly persuasive arguments, a the same could be said for any position on the team. It would be great to have better depth at every position, so why is everyone so intent on TE?
  6. Just another idea of the media drumming up a story based solely upon their own beliefs and without any evidence. The Bills have stated Young was brought in only as a backup and we don't have a cagey FO or HC; they mean what they say. No reason to even pay attention to it.
  7. Hairston starts the season. 1- Chan defers to experience 2- Hairston did a decent job last year thrust into a starting role with no offseason prep. I expect him to make a big jump this year.
  8. This friggin' guy again I've yet to read a single post by this troll that doesn't excoriate the FO or Fitz.
  9. I have no idea how he has a job in sports media, it's ridiculous.
  10. +1. It's never meaningless if it's well thought out!
  11. Please don't feed this troll by engaging with it. Its never-ending negativity only serves as evidence of how miserable a troll it must be. Just let it whine into the ether of the internet. Maybe if we stop feeding it, it will go away.
  12. ESPN looks like a panel of fossils. No interesting analysis and terrible production value. No reason to ever watch that channel
  13. Buddy's answers at the presser for those who asked: Asper - Brought in to be a backup G/C Potter - Kickoff specialist. Buddy wants someone who can kick the ball through the goalpost consistently to guarantee less wear and tear on our coverage guys and to ensure solid field position
  14. So you wasted your 47th post on this schlock?
  15. It's called looking at your board laterally. He called WR in 3rd rd because he knew who he was targeting. If Bradham were gone, we could have picked another position. Don't read into things.
  16. I'm incredibly confused. I'd be confused if we just picked him, but I'm floored that we traded up to pick him?
  17. They traded pick 8 in the 3rd round and a 7th rounder for pick 6 in the 3rd round. Noob
  18. @gregcosell Not surprised Graham went off board to Bills. Not polished at all but most vertically explosive WR in draft. Dynamic speed.
  19. What did we give up for him? And why did we trade for him?
  20. A rare negative comment from Tosh!
  21. I refer you to the "must have" receivers everyone was dying to get in the first round in 08 and how we were doomed when we didn't get them- Limas Swede, Devin Thomas. Oh but everyone was stoked when we got James Hardy in the 2nd! We do NOT have good consistent talent at CB- McGee plays 3 games a year, Florence gets burned consistently and McKelvin is on his way out the door due to being terrible. Basic fan knowledge on this site has devolved tremendously the past couple of years. The number of "I don't know him, so I'm mad" posts are asinine.
  22. Tell that to Buddy Nix, who said "we will not take a TE in this draft"
