I just read the whole thread and there was SO MUCH LESS vitriol towards him than I would have seen on this board. Most of the people there said something along the lines of "it's more money than they should have paid for him, but at least it's the Bills and not the other 2 teams in the division." My favorite quote from that thread: "The Bills have Mario Williams, Marcell Dareus, Kyle Williams and Mark Anderson on their D-line... And yet I am still more terrified of Aaron Schobel, by himself."

Exactly. In essence we are paying him Dwan Edwards money. If he performs, he'll cash in in the final 2 years of his contract. If he doesn't he's gone after 2.

I won't pretend to be an expert on Jeffrey, though I've seen him play. Floyd is an EXCELLENT blocker and has great hands. He's also an automatic 6 if you throw him a fade route in the red zone. He's a beast. I disagree vehemently with the above poster's assertion that Jeffrey has a ton more talent.

We are having a monster offseason. Re-signing our key free agents and bringing in Mario and now maybe Anderson. It feels like a different Bills.

Super Mario, Dareus, Williams, Mr. Anderson Every single one of those guys can win one on one battles and be a threat to sack the quarterback. NE might have to keep a couple of the 100 receivers they signed in the offseason on the bench in order to have someone chip block or help double-team.

I think LT carries a much greater value. Wallace is a deep ball threat, not a complete WR. Any AFC team who spends a top 20 1st rounder is not only overpaying, but also handing a 1st round pick to a conference opponent.
