    If he were a complete premiere WR I MIGHT say it was okay to dump a top 10 pick on him. But he's not. He's a very good receiver. But, he's primarily a deep ball threat. The only way this would makes sense is if we traded back int he 1st rd (like into the 20s). Earlier than that, I think you're giving up too much.

    The ONLY reason I got upset (and I suspect others feel the same) about him signing elsewhere is that he did it within minutes of having dinner with the Bills. If he signed with SD from home and snubbed the Bills I could have cared less

    Are you looking for a pat on the back for being so mature? There is more than one person on this board. Longer threads after negative events are generally comprised of a bunch of single posts expressing disgust/dismay/frustration. If you aren't happy with it, I suggest you simply not post in those threads and not read them so as not to be frustrated.

    Redskins gave Garcon more than we gave Stevie. We'd likely now have to pay our #2 WR more than our #1 if we sign him. Thank you Redskins, for sucking.

    We made an offer, he didn't counter. What would you suggest, we lock him in a basement and refuse to let him leave? Roscoe is constantly injured. Why be negative on a day when all signs to the FO actually being on the ball?

    Dude, you are all over this board complaining and snarking at anyone who expresses hope with these signings. If someone like Vince Lombardi thinks we sign Williams, I'll take his optimism over a guy who plays D&D in him mom's basement (YOU). I have no problem with people voicing dissenting opinions, but you are one of the most gloomy personalities around.

    I'm thinking Martin in the draft if we sign Meachem and Williams. I mean we would really only need another CB an OLB and some more depth on D and OL in the draft. These signing would take a LOT of pressure off the draft.
