Ravens still have a shot at home field advantage. They have something to play for. -
What games are you watching today, and why?

I'm watching whatever is on the local stations, because I don't have to go out to watch the Bills play. -

It would probably have looked the same if it had been sunny. -
It's weird, but it's better than what it used to be.

Yes, nothing! Notre Dame & Stanford have been playing each other on a yearly basis since 1988. I don't know what the attitude is like in South Bend about this "rivalry", but I wouldn't be surprised if the fans are far more excited when the Irish play teams like Michigan, Michigan State, Navy, or even Boston College. I guarantee you that when the Irish travel to Stanford, the fans are just ho-hum about it. I cannot remember anytime that when this game is played in Palo Alto, that the entire Bay Area is excited about it. The hype is nowhere to be found. Not from the fans, not from the radio stations and very little from the local newspapers. The Stanford fans only care about the game against California, and maybe USC, but that's it. As for Michigan, they do have decent QB's on the roster. This is my one criticism of Harbaugh. He's recruited a few top notch QB's, Dylan McCaffrey being one of them, but then he got Shea Patterson to transfer from Ole Miss and decided to go with him. Instead of getting players at a high position from other schools, he should focus on the players he recruits. Let them grow and learn, even if they have to take their bumps. It's unfortunate because Michigan has very good talent at WR & TE. Patterson got off to a terrible start this season, then eventually he got better and helped get a string of wins together. I just never saw Patterson as a top QB in college. I do think that McCaffrey could be something special. -

I disagree. Harbaugh has gotten talent on this team that has been lacking for years. Not being able to beat Ohio State is maddening. I think Michigan needs to get different personnel, because Don Brown has shown that he can't stop this team at all the last two years. Also, I cannot think of anyone who can come in RIGHT NOW, and do a better job. I want to see what Dylan McCaffrey can do next year. -

College Football means nothing to Stanford, except when they play California. I really don't know why Notre Dame and Stanford have this long running series going, because I don't see either school really making a big deal about it when they play. College Football does not have a following in Northern California. There is almost no hype for any games out here. -
Correct. We are in the thick of a Divisional race.

Defense did nothing. Don Brown has no answers when preparing for this game again. Offense actually got yardage and was able to score, but this team is not built for shootouts. -

Every Cole Beasley catch vs. the Cowboys
Mark Vader replied to Real McClappy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That was great. Although I love the 2nd & 20 play where Allen is just standing like a statue, and just throws a laser to Beasley. He threw that like it was so easy. -
Cowboys mic’d up...the opponents perspective from yesterday.
Mark Vader replied to Beast's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That was great, lol. I wish we could have heard the Cowboys radio and the sideline mic after Josh Allen's 4th & 1 play. -
Michigan wins the Battle for Atlantis tournament! They soundly beat both North Carolina & Gonzaga. They have to get a Top 25 ranking after this. I'm very impressed with how they have been able to score with so many players. Juwan Howard has this team focused. Now for their reward, they have to go on the road to play Louisville. Yeesh!

Wow! He's good, but for that kind of contract? -
And if he doesn't, oh well. I'm still glad we drafted him.

Bills' player: "I see why you don't pay Dak"
Mark Vader replied to class_of_2012's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I feel the same way. I would love to see them stay professional and be business like all the time, but I cannot fault them for letting some emotion out after being victorious in a big game like this. Fair enough. Although I don't think that they are going to have this same attitude going forward all the time when they win. They will stay hungry. Josh Allen made it a point to say that this was just win number 9. Absolutely! The "experts" in the media is who should be taking note of this.
