I think we see Dorian Williams play a lot this game. I’m not sure it means Milano plays less.

Opinions on this wonderful 2024 Bills season at 10-3
Buffalo_Stampede replied to DeepPass's topic in The Stadium Wall
Opinion D has always been my opinion as well, at least the last 3 years. Once we won a couple AFC East titles all I cared about is getting in the playoffs and advancing. I also think there’s a bit more pressure on the Bills if they get the Chiefs in Buffalo. Going to Arrowhead they can play loose. -

McDermott has been coaching since he was like 22. I was winning Madden tournaments at 22. Who do you want in charge of the clock management? Easy answer. -

Everyone who grew up playing Madden is an expert at clock management. I guarantee Sean McDermott has never played Madden. -

McDermott wouldn’t know when to use a phone a friend and when not to. These are in the moment decisions that he routinely gets wrong. It is who he is. -

Does Detroit have bad turf? Didn’t we lose players on the field before?

I get when you block a punt and touch it after, the punting team can recover and retain possession. But what sense does that make? Why is that rule necessary?

That and their losses are to Baltimore 2x, Chiefs, Washington, Philly, LAC, and Pittsburgh. A bad week 1 loss to NE. Cincinnati has been a slow starting team for a few years, that’s coaching. The contract holdouts didn’t help for that week 1 game. It’s a combination of things. They could’ve won all these games easily besides the Philly game.

On the first series Rousseau got knocked on his butt by Kyren Williams chipping. Just blew him up. Set the tone for the game. Probably thought about it the rest of the game.

I remember the talk that offseason was about needing to play more man. It’s one of the reasons they didn’t re-sign Edmunds, too big for man. So they drafted Elam, a man CB, but never started playing more man. So, I wonder if there was some disagreement between the scouting staff and coaching staff with the Elam pick.

I hate what I’m about to say but it’s not going to be easy to beat KC and win a Super Bowl, no matter what they do at head coach. What I know right now is the Bills are a possession away from beating KC. I don’t know what happens with a coaching change. We’ll see what happens in the playoffs this year. I’m just not ready to fire McDermott until I feel like the top AFC teams are pulling away from the Bills.

Bernard made some plays in the run game. He was around the ball. Milano made one play that looked like his old self. But change of direction isn’t there yet.
-
Watched Milano close in the 2nd half. He’s hobbled. There was one play a player fell into his leg and he had a hard time getting up. Stumbled a little getting up. Another play he looked awkward running in space. Bills must see this as well. Rams were getting lineman on him all the time. He couldn’t disengage.

Where was the defensive adjustment on Puka Nakua?
Buffalo_Stampede replied to 26TrapDraw's topic in The Stadium Wall
Watching back they did try some man and the DBs were still getting beat. I probably would’ve preferred more man because maybe you force a mistake. But Stafford was hot guys. He’s as good as our guy when he’s hot. Plus they have elite weapons. -
He gets lost. He was not helping vs the Rams. I did think he would play more than Milano at this point while we ramp up Milano’s snaps. I also thought he would have a role as a blitzer. The Rams actually only had 3.3 yards per carry. Kyren Williams only 3 yards per carry. Im not sure how anyone thinks Williams improves our chances of winning this game? He’s not good in coverage.

The root source of D problems is the D Line
Buffalo_Stampede replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not just vs the Rams but it’s the main reason we don’t advance in the playoffs. We don’t have dominant force on the DL.- 286 replies

I dont think Williams makes any difference in this game. I would love to know what you think he improves?

I take it back.
