The Bills aren’t letting Benford walk.

I saw negative plays. He had some good rushes, no finish. But to me since returning he’s looked a step slower. I defended him previously.

Hopefully he’s saving himself for the playoffs.

To be fair he’s had a lot of struggles with inconsistent play and injuries his first couple years. Last year I felt he improved throughout the season and something clicked for him. The switch to Joe Brady last year helped him a lot.

The Rams game was basically a preseason defense, no adjustments.

This game was supposed to be a huge game. Absolutely meaningless now.

I think the Bills are using these games to evaluate some players. Almost like preseason games.

Josh needs to finish strong. Lamar closed the gap.

Yeah. I think right now if Cincinnati wins out the Colts are our likely opponent. But if the Colts do something dumb then Cincinnati I believe is our likely opponent. Denver has to win at Cincinnati. It can happen.

He’s a tough kid. But our defense stinks right now. We better hope Cincinnati doesn’t get in. They will put up 50.

Broken throwing finger means he misses 4 weeks. Thats the playoffs.

It’s definitely fixable. Just have to be right once at GM. It’s like when he took over the Bills. Many were critical of him. He was making some mistakes. But he just had to be right 1 time and everything changed.

Not to make this a Sabres thread but yes they do. This comment goes for the Bills as well. I don’t equate making wrong decisions with being a bad owner. He’s not the GM. His job is to give the GM whatever they ask for. From everything I’ve ever heard about Terry he gives the GM whatever he wants. That said, he’s hired the wrong people for the Sabres. Obviously. They don’t know how to put together a hockey team. No one will agree with me I’m sure, but he’ll get it right. First step is he has to stop caring about people liking Buffalo and worrying about will it work for the Buffalo region. Every single decision is based on “will it fit in Buffalo.” Even the Bills. Everything has to be a perfect fit for Buffalo. Not every player, coach, or GM is going to love the City of Buffalo before getting here. But just get them here. They still might not like it once they’re here but they can’t worry about that. Winning tends to fix that.

Some things haven’t gone well but he’s a great owner. Couldn’t ask for a better owner.
